Thorpe Park Fright Nights on the 12th. Started fine during the day but then the drunks and 'chavs' came out... In multiple queue lines was there cutting, smoking and worse of all in MBV queue two drunk teens with there d***s out peeing in the queue cattle pen. We left the queue told the staff who did nothing and seemed to to care. Then we went to BWP where a big group of 10-15 year old 'chavs' cute massively in the line behind us to begin slapping us round the head in my group and other. This time we noted security and they was thrown our the park. (One less idiot in the park than the mmillion already there) there was multiple fights witnessed during the day and just a awful fright night experience. Broadditch and tulley much better imo

Personally I was really really dissapointed with the event as a whole. The main thing is the actors. They never kept in role or ever laughed and communicated with you. Always to serious or looking extremely bored. Their makeup was awful and not scary at all. Inside the mazes they seemed fed up. I went to my local event Broadditch Farm last night and it was IMO the best event I have ever done. Best actors, makeup and scare mazes. They had fun with you danced around and had conversations. In the mazes they ass extremely good and always made you have a good time. Here's some example of what makeup should look like... from broadditch.

I went on the 12th on a Sunday didn't queue longer than 60 mind for any maze and got on them all at least once certain twice. All coaster done and none over 20 mins after 8. RnR isn't needed it is fine as it Is. Overall when I went the event was ok. Mass was decent but lacked any real scare factor. Also a lot of well... how to mention it... rowdy, horrible people The the park. We saw 2 fights. I'm sticking to local farm and such fright attractions next week.

I would love Thorpe to invest in Colossus by putting in new non shoulder bar trains like at the clone in Italy. Would be better as feel more free.

As long as something different comes for 2015 I will be happy. Or even if they just literally give everything a tune up. like it said in the towers article I don't think a new major ride will be until 2016. I would like a Colossus paint job, features on rides that are there actually working and a new theme/ do up of rumba and loggers. Nothing will happen though... Just more blackpool visits next year

A Nice new rollercoaster hopefully running from the old creek station going all the way along that side down to the arena... Nice to think but not going to happen most likely...

Even if it is Asylum V2 , I don't see a problem with it. Most people thought Asylum was and has been their best maze ever and if in Studio 13 they have just improved apon it with a different genre we can't complain
-
Do you still go through Studio 13 in groups of around 10? Or is it a constant flow of people? Wished it was hands on shoulders personally but I hope it isnt constant flow and is groups of like 8-12.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D2z6v90FUQA&app=desktop Well this looks like a brilliant maze! Really good footage of Studio 13, I like the fact they are still using the strobe effects. The ending looks extremely more intense than Asylum as it seems to be longer of a chase with the chainsaw! Cant wait for Sunday!

What is this Motel stuff... I've seen a bit on it but have no idea what it is.

If they do get a top spin I hope it will ride nothing like Ramesis at Chessington as that is a absolute killer on my shoulders... its hurts like he'll.

From looking on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook tonight from what I presume is the staff event, and the Studio 13 reviews were extremely good! The themeing outside is looking really good outside and I'm really really excited for Sunday! Looking forward also what they do with improvements to CITW, BWP and MBV
-
I also loved the atmosphere of Asylum... The music outside while queuing built the tension well. It was load aswell what was good. I hope studio 13 uses it. Look forward to Sunday!

I'm going Sunday do you think queues will be shorter like after 9?
-
Totally agree. Thorpe hasn't got enough things to do with the reserve and ride system in place. Flat rides like you say would be stupid queue times and not worth it and so would water rides most likely. If thorpe in my opinion want to implement RnR fully they need more rides or at least shows or something! So glad I'm going this weekend... no hassle just normal queue what I don't mind

ah that's ok... Saws there. Last time I went about a month ago we got in at 9:30 went straight to Slammer and got on with no one but me and my 5 mates on the ride. Still took 15 mins to set it off...and my way back to samurai... hope it gets themed to s a w
-
Thanks a lot, go straight to it for opening on Sunday and then Slammer incase the do break down...
-
I'm just really really glad I'm not going on those dates... really looking forward to Sunday. But if they didn't have a stand by queue I think it would work well for the mazes
-
I can see it working well for the mazes but I wouldn't want to be there to test it... Glad I'm going on the 12th... phew. Where is this from?
-
Has Samurai been up and working well recently as me and my mates are going fights nights Sunday and it's the only ride they haven't been on. Has it been up and running well or is it another day we arrive and it's down...
-
I would like either a wooden coaster or a good and only good dark ride. I honestly really don't want a 'Inferno Sub Terror' I think Sub Terror at Alton is awful not at all scary and also has a bad PPH. The thing I want the most if a good classic wooden rollercoaster to add to Canada Creek.
-
I do like the fact that they are going all out on advertising this year... Hopefully they put this much effort and more on the actual event... find out Sunday
-
Are the actors and stuff in this video actually going to be in the mazes this year... didnt really think they fit into any maze... Or was it just made up. As it wasn't a official vid from Thorpe.
-
The layout and system of Asylum was personally the best ever and if studio 13 re themes that and changes the way it does that I would be really happy.

You would certainly get your money's worth... haha
