Thanks guys for the information... I will leave the Smiler and Rita to last just trying to avoid getting a bad headache as want to spend my time on the rides rather than waiting for the headache to subside... I will also make sure I brace myself we'll during the ride...I must admit have had decent ride counts at Thorpe recently but noticed the next day the tops of my shoulders are very sore I am guessing from doing too many barrel rolls on various rides rather than sunburn with the recent nice weather..

I am going up to Alton Towers for a couple of days and was wondering if any of the coasters are rough and give you a banging headache e.g. Like Colossus at Thorpe. As if possible I will leave them to last so as not to spoil the day as only have two days there as live to far away. I have not been to Alton for many years so any advice great fully received..

Thanks guys for the info... In my old age it appears my memory is not what it used to be... I liked the old bat style carriages as it helped with the themeing. I have to say does seem slower and more gentle with the swaying when going around corners. It could just be me having got used to more adventurous coasters that are currently around. Had not realised the tunnel had been made shorter....

Hoping someone might be able to help... Originally rode vampire in its original form too many years ago... Recently rode it again and trying to work out what has changed track wise. As I am sure the start of the ride used to better and can't remember ever going into the Transalvanya street/shopping area in the past. Having said that it might just be my memory as it was a long time ago. Definitely seems very tame to me now compared to the first time I went on it. Can you help me refresh my memory?

I am a larger lady, and went on the pass preview day and had no issues... As the others have said there are seats, so you can check that you can be seated safely... Hope you have a good day at the park...
