The Thing That is really annoying is when they run the ride on 1 train for 30 mins in the morning and then think oh it's a busy day when it obviously was to begin with and then stop the q moving for 15 mins while they put the second train on. that annoys me more than one train operation all day especially when it happens on holidays and weekends.

Just come back from a nice afternoon at Thorpe park. Pretty full for an off peak day according to someone at Thorpe park they had an unprecedented high gate number due to inset days .arrived at 12.00. ride count X- 1 Slammer-1 Detonator-2 The Swarm-1 Saw-1 Loggers leap-1 Depth Charge-1 Tidal Wave-2 Colossus-1 Stealth-1 Nemesis Inferno-1 (front row) Positives Nemesis was full of mist Saw was operating very fast (Q time said 45 mins at entrance and actually took 25.) Wild wongs noodle restaurant was extremely fast got the food within 30 seconds of saying what we wanted. Cola refill tasted like cola for once and not water with cola flavoring. Colossus and The Swarm were running on 2 Trains Negatives One train operation on nemesis inferno and stealth. In the wild wongs restaurant the box seems to have got smaller and the price has gone up. (I think) No Flying Fish! That's about it really as I say it was a nice afternoon and I'm sure it was marginally better than going on Saturday I'f we'd been there all day I'm sure we'd have got on all rides in the park without any problem.

For the Past three years I've visted on that day and the Q's Except vampire have been around 20-30mins however you get 1 hour less of dark ride time because the clocks won't have gone back.

On Thursday They were using two trains however only using the front 8 rows I've never seen them do that before but then I've never seen vampire on two trains on a day when it is so quiet. Also has anyone else noticed how rough vampire has become this year. last year it felt a lot smoother.

The Fire effect wasn't working on Thursday hope this isn't going to be the case for the rest of the year!

Hi I'm Malcolm. I Love Theme parks Especially Chessington And Alton Towers. My friends don't so much. my favourite Flat ride is eagles claw at Lightwater valley and megafobia is my favourite roller-coaster. I have been visiting Thorpe since 2007 and apart from that first visit I have loved it every time so I thought I'd join this forum.
