Ok, so look at the image they shared for the mirror maze. On the photo it said 'mirror maze - the big top'. I reckon this is a replica carnival with multiple attractions. Tomorrow we may get another photo that says 'fun house - the big top' or something else to do with the circus/carnival...

Interesting. Will Thorpe continue to drop new teasers/information every day? Or do you think they'll take a break at some point? I suppose if they continue; they can milk the big top for a week, then the next new attraction for a week, then focus on each of the IP mazes.... that'll last a while and cause a LOT of hype...

Well, last year it was 7 weeks before when avertising hit.... and the FULL press release was September 9th. So we're actually later than before
  4. spoon replied to spoon's topic in The Past
    well, thats what they gave!

OK, having been on Carnival before, I can say this looks a lot darker! Here are the two videos that dropped this morning and this afternoon at intervals of 4 hours. We will probably get more this evening! On top of that, scare auditions held tomorrow 9:30am. Links: http://bit.ly/1IfhbQt http://bit.ly/1NTO2PZ

Thorpe would have said 'two new mazes' but they didn't, so one of them is NOT a maze (I assume). This ;the big top' sounds like a definite maze; so the second one will not be.

Nice! I always found CoS to be quite tame; maybe Thorpe can ramp it up a notch... On a side note, I think this is the Studio 13 replacement; with an overnight experience as the second 'experience'. All IPs should return...

^^or maybe thats for a different fright nights 2015
  9. spoon replied to spoon's topic in The Past
Erm, I think I just discovered something..... if you go onto Thorpes facebook page, go to the ringleader post, and click the #frightnights2015..... well, lets just say theres some tantalising clues (in fact, more than tantalising) left from earlier this year. It seems like they're suggesting a haunted hayride...

I mean, I says experiences. So both cannot be a maze, otherwise thorpe would say 'maze'. One will most likely be overnight, and the other? I don't know yet - I hope it's a maze...

Maybe an actual carnival of horrors?
  12. spoon replied to spoon's topic in The Past
Wow, this gets better and better! If all IPs return, plus two new mazes.... we're well on track

^^They're asking for wannabe actors to come to Pineapple studios for auditions...

Anyone else see Thorpes tweet about scare actor auditions?

You have to remember, the big reveal came on 9th September last year, so don't hold your breath! Also, Island Beats is on for another fortnight, and Thorpe aint gonna break the hype train until it's over. Just hang on, it's so unpredictable this year! (apart from certain IPs)

Yeah I agree, the roaming actors in a 'gang' last year created a great atmosphere wherever they went (there's a video somewhere on youtube I think), but more are definitely needed. I also doubt that Thorpe would scale down their offering from 5 mazes to 3, so we will just have to see what they've got planned for us..... The full press release was september 9th last year, wasn't it?
  17. spoon replied to spoon's topic in The Past
Yeah, I would agree. But there must be changes this year, surely?

Anyone noticed any on-park advertising yet?
  19. spoon replied to spoon's topic in The Past
So, is this the first bit of in park advertising we have seen this year then?
  20. spoon replied to spoon's topic in The Past
Yeah. that's cool and a nice bit of photography. I assume that Thorpe will always use the barge for a scare attraction, it wouldn't make sense for them to do away with it. On another note, during the summer season, we usually see some fright nights signage appearing for promo purposes, as the park has already publicized Island Beats. However, that starts in a couple of weeks, and we can assume that there will be zero information about FN from Thorpe, as they'll be busy pushing tickets via social media...
  21. ^^ doesn't mean anything

In order to try and confirm Thorpe's stance on the current plans, I dropped them an email. I know its WAY too early for them to give us any information, but their website clearly states information, so I wished to confirm it. They stated they couldn't say... so we could see a change up.
  23. Unfortunately, I have just come across an article on the BBC webpage that uses quotes from Thorpe Management. The word from them is that Saw will be closed 'indefinitely' AND 'for the foreseeable future'. That sounds pretty bad to me. On the side, the Chessington rides will 'open as soon as possible'.

I assume you haven't made any further progress..... but if so, how about some fright night themed cards?
