I have a voucher form the sun that I assume is ok to use for fright nights can anyone confirm this for me please as I am going to tomorrow.

It should say exclusion dates in the terms and conditions of the voucher.

Very small voucher without the full terms and conditions... tried to look on the merlin website but the page cannot be found using the link on the voucher

Try going on ebay and finding the same voucher type for sale, the full T&S should be in the sellers listings.
