Posted October 25, 20168 yr comment_243571 One of my friends who is going to Thorpe Park's Fright Nights with me has weak ankles, which often hurt when walking or standing for long periods of time, the Doctors are yet to find the problem so she doesn't have a note which she could use to get out of queuing. Would she be allowed to use a walking stick for getting around?
October 26, 20168 yr comment_243601 I saw people using walking sticks a couple of nights ago, so yes you can, although whether any medical note or proof is required I'm not so sure. You are probably best contacting the park to check before going.
October 26, 20168 yr comment_243610 My friends son regularly has to use crutches/walking sticks or a wheelchair due to a medical condition and they never have any issues, some rides have stairs access only (Inferno) and others have wheelchair lifts you can use if walking upstairs is a problem, assuming they work (Saw's wasn't last time so we gave him a piggyback much to the dismay of the ride ops), but other than that they may just politely point out access might be a problem but they won't turn you away. They take more interest in amputees than they do anything else.
