CSSproductionz
Firstly, hello, my name's Connor and I'm new here. I've mainly joined to ask what I'm about to ask, but I'm also a big fan of Thorpe Park in general. Anyway, to the question.... As part of my BTEC diploma in Media we were tasked to create an advertisement, I decided to make one on Thorpe Park. Also as part of the course we need to get feedback from the clients and the audience, you guys. So, basically, I will post a link at the bottom of this post and if possible could you reply to this thread with answers on: 1) What you like? 2) What you dislike? 3) If it makes you want to visit the park (does it work as an advertisement)? 4) Anything else you wish to comment on. Thank you all in advance!
Ellie
1. Only parts of ride were in focus- my favourite bit The music just because I like the song! The voice was quite similar to the actual adverts so keeps consistent with other adverts 2. The wiggling letters were childish The panning of the park was a nice idea but too simple and boring Didn't like the 'looks too good to be true' comment but I can't say anything more constructive about why 3. No because I don't know anything interesting about it from the advert- why is it different from other parks? 4. Doesn't say what kind of park; family or thrill? How can I find out more about it? Phone number or website? I hope you don't feel my comments are mean and hope they're useful
dominoes
Pros: Like the use of focus Nice audio Like the voice at the end Cons: I feel that colours could have been edited more. Everything seemed a bit depressing and grey. The letters were a bit to fun and light hearted, and they took a bit to long to appear. Maybe you could have done some flat rides. Maybe a bit more info about the park. But other than that, it was good!
Tom
1) Music, as it was The Swarm song. So appropriate and all that Focus on the most thrilling attractions 2) Despite the obvious focus on thrilling roller coasters, flats would be good as Thorpe Park is a thrill park, not just a roller coaster park if that makes sense. The letters seem like a good idea but doesn't keep to Thorpe Park's theme of scaring you and bringing you the next big thing because it seemed a bit light hearted! 3) As a member of this forum, no because I've seen it all before. But as a member of the public I guess it does! 4) I think the opinions here agree with those above XD
