These are the sort of things which long term will be sorted - they can have tech rehearsals and staff rides as much as they like but it don't come close to 1000's of people riding it daily. Contractors are still on site and I expect will be for a while yet!

The owners who they lease the land from will have no say in any way what rides the park has - will be totally down to Thorpe / Merlin Im not sure it's time is up just yet - after all the work it's had it runs fairly well - apart from the last couple weeks of course!

Saw it had 3 members of staff at the entrance so if it didn't open it was close to!

^ does show of the level of detail which has gone in to this thing - when on the ride you don't get much chance to appreciate how realistic that train in the station looks!

Aslong as there is enough guests waiting after the final photo point (which there always is) - they make no difference atall to the through puts. Not sure if it's on full capacity but if it isn't it manages to eat through a queue fairly well!

Timed tickets were in use through out its first soft openings too. Theyve extended opening of the coasters to 6:30 it's fairly busy!

I can't see them getting rid of Saw the ride just yet! A woodie was proposed when they were planning saw but they went for Saw - to be fair to them it's been very successful! we have a topic here where you can post exactly what you would do if you was in charge!

^yeah im not sure if the current lay out would be able to handle standing trains without serious work. That said would love to maybe see the new Intamin trains on it with lap bars!

The GP's reaction towards this compared to early reaction towards the Swarm would maybe suggest otherwise

As people know - as the official fansite we have a close working relationship with the park - the park have kindly requested that the secrets behind how the ride functions are not spilt during this testing period and we respect that. I encourage people to discuss their experiences but will request that major spoilers such as how the ride system works etc are not posted here during this rehursal period Feel free to PM me if you wish to discuss this.

No more to add - We cant stop the discussion about it but the park have kindly requested the secrets of the attraction are not revealed - this is especially more reverent during the rehearsal stage before the official launch of the ride

The general public's reaction to this thing has been immense - its not very often guests in the UK will break out into applause at the end of a ride but they really do seem to be loving it. I always thought a large scale dark ride would be a gamble for which ever Merlin park took it on but am delighted it seems to be getting such high praise from the GP.

It shutdown at around 2pm but has just reopened to a huge queue - fair play to them

^ agree - it's been done very well and the amount of praise it was getting during and after my rides on it today makes me think they are onto a winner here!

The park are keen for riders of the tech rehearsals to not spoil any surprises for non riders

It has tested since then and water dummy's have appeared so hopefully not
