Well we know Alton don't read our forums now! LOL. They've requested them to be removed from other fan sites because they aren't the finalised images yet and were released too early. What were they thinking with that first image?! ROFL.

Good things happen to good people sometimes, right? Oh, here's to hoping Skunky hasn't gone to sleep and is still meeting me in London with Seb and James. Ha.
-
That seems tough dude. Nobody can tell anyone what to do, this is such a personal thing, and you have to deal with it, in your own way and in your own time.Sorry to hear about your dad, I wouldn't wanna tell him if I was in your shoes either. *Hugs*Hope everything works out for you.

Eek! Hope everything went as well as it possibly can. There are a lot of us here who've been through the same thing, even if they won't admit it in this topic, we're all here for ya if you need to holler!
-
Okay I'll try and explain it to you. This is scary how much time I have on my hands lol. This is the Immelmann loop! This is the immensely sexy Immelmann turn and beneath it is the dive loop. And this is the cutest dive loop ever! The car will travel up the twisty bit then, "dive" down Amazing considering it's called a dive loop but yeah.Hope that helps explain the inversions for ya!

The press release confirms it as 100 degrees, but to be fair they could say anything within reason, we've got no way of proving it! And yeah lol, if it's at the bottom of the drop then where else could it be?
-
LOL! I'm totally the same! And is something that annoys me on this forum, so I guess I am aiming it at people ;)Hehe

Yeah that was a red herring to throw us off the scent of Rita. The plans were fake.

I'd definately reccommend going to everyone! The park is kinda lame but there's a really good atmosphere with all the fanboys and fangirls and is a great way to get to know the members on here. There's probably a chance of going somewhere afterwards for food too so it's a grat laugh.Gah, I'd do anything to bring back last year!

Keep up! We now from the plans that the coaster won't be wooden. Plans are on the previous page. ;)Launching backwards, not as in a full fledged Rita-esque launch but enough to give it enough momentum. Although I think the tilt option is a lot more likely. Nothing confirmed yet mate. I doubt it'll be a prototype coaster though, just a first of its kind; so suggesting an original element within the ride. And yes as Meme said, the plans say No Way Out was reffered to in terms of noise. Most likely because of the indoor section, although saying that, this coaster isn't totally enclosed.Vekoma is just one manufacturer on the cards, along with Intamin, Premier and hell let's throw Maurer Shone in there, too. It's most likely to be a less expensive manufacturer though as the scenery looks to be pretty immersive, and the likes of Intamin and B&M can't get you very much with the apparent £12M for this project. Why not a Vekoma? Vekoma are one of the most diverse manufacts (seriously don't wanna write that word again, lol) out there and completely customise their projects to the client's specification. Rock N Rollercoaster, Expedition Everest- okay the budget for these rides probably blows the budget for SW6 out of the park but it's an example that they build innovative, fantastic family rides. And whilst we're on the subject, this ride may slant more towards family, however, I firmly believe it'll have some pretty thrilling parts, the air- time looks to be insane!Sorry for the long post guys!

The plans show the coaster entering the building at the top level, and then exiting on the basement level, so either the track tilts backwards, does the final helix and then switches back to face forwards for the station, or the track literally drops (which I don't think has been done before), and then launches backwards out of the show building to get enough momentum to do the final helix, and then switching back to face forwards for the station. All interesting stuff!

They're the people behind all the "Thrill Lab" research at the Towers. Go have a looky at their website.AerialAlso check out Thrill Lab's research Here!

Yeah, maybe 2010 we'll see some investment that we've been waiting for since 2004. Beanoland... it'll be 10 next year, it all feels very tired, it just needs to be ripped out and to start over. No idea what's going there, but I think asethetically at least, it'll be really different.I'm hoping some major change for Bubbleworks too. Let's hope Aerial (before you say, not the friggin washing powder) are onboard and can help bring something epic that's timeless, in the same way that the original Bubbleworks was.

^^ With Air though, they didn't cut the budget, the project just ran heavily over budget due to teething problems. If this concept is a tried and tested concept, there won't be those teething problems. Here's to hoping anyways!

I just need to say. Kellys new album, All I Ever Wanted, is already #53 best selling in music on Amazon.com, and the album doesn't come out until March! This thing is gonna be huge! And now I'll carry on drinking

It's meant to be ruins. Lol Aww!For those that can't view the plans, here's the plans for the station exterior:
-
Entrance feature. Looks great!

I love the comment about the compressor for themeing. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that suggest moving elements/ jumpy out things? Lol. I'm gonna be so scared!!
-
Apparently, according to someone on Towers Times, the entertaiments team are looking to put a show inside it. Probs just so there's something inside it whilst they finalize it's long term replacement.
-
Ohhh I love that quote in the developers diary about the internal scenery, sounds swish! And oh, the cars don't look bad either (they look excellent)

I hate that my body clock is out of synch. :huh:And I'm trying to watch Spiderman 3 but it's taking a while to load the flaming thing.

Yeah it's not right at this stage, but who knows for the future. I'm talking like a decade or something down the line lol. Outrageous amount of money really. Guess it encourages people to book online/ buy APs/ use vouchers.Could we see this as an attempt of taking advantage of the credit crunch? In terms of people not going abroad, therefore gonig on domestic holidays or having days out. All equals increased gate figures for all the parks.

Can I just say, I love Billy's Whizzer..... I miss it!!

Guys just be careful what you say on these forums. People are always reading and you could get staff members into serious trouble. Just a heads up.To make this post on topic.... lol. If you have great hearing you can indeed hear Tomb's music from the top of Falls. I do love Dragon Falls, but I can't help thinking that it either needs a major asthetic change or just a complete replacement. The trouble is, for a replacement, the track kind of needs to be similar as that area of the park is pretty developed. Tis a difficult one.
