  1. Someone mentioned here that Thorpe was angry at Gerstlauer because they're coaster is not doing the rph it should be doing. Has this been sorted out?

Can both of you shut up?!!! You're as bad as each other. He did this blah blah blah....He did that wah wah wah LOL.Get over it!Colossus and SAW are very close to each other. Having Colosus/SAW to N:I is perfect distance - even a bit far. Having a coaster on MHFS is do-able since it can extend to the Carosel and Arena like Neil said. I don't think we'll see a coaster on the MHFS space but if anything something like a Rattlesnake (Wild Mouse) - which Neilfever (An expert) said is very possible and Ranger Country might possibly be removed or relocated in the future.I would like to see a Spinner or Wild Mouse even though it will have a 800-ish thoroughput and it can be very nicely be spread out like Dragon's Fury. Despite them having high thoroughputs every ride/coaster has long queues so it doesn't make the slightest difference. We won't see a dark-interactive ride like Tomb Blaster because it's soo CWoA's thing and if not a coaster...a nice Disk'O (Miragica's one).
  3. Tpkabz: Also they are syringes, as they do actually reflect the design of the Syringe Pens you can purchase for £1The syringe pens have got nothing to do with the so-called syringe inside the bulding. They choose to sell syringe pens because they are a very well-known saw-item and are therefore very marketable. In that section, there are crossbows with green arrows pointed at you, as you go past that section. Air is shot at you to represent the arrows because they can't shoot real arrows. That's total crap James....Syringes shoot air that can go very far? If I got a syringe and used it, the air it wouldn't go that far but the air goes to your necks. Also...what made you think they are syringes? Michaela even saw the plans for SAW on the website and they show Crossbows.JoshC.4: Needle in a haystack has got nothing to do with so-called syringes shooting air at you. If they wanted to relate this, where the spikers are after the drop...they would have a pit of syringes or below the zero-g roll.James H: Fine don't look onto this topic - you'll have to anyone to check that the "argument" is over.
  4. It is Crossbows and arrows! People from SP told me too when I was on the ride with them. James (Hepburn)...this is going to come as a massive shock. You don't know everything.I asked one of the SP people who work there and he said crossbows.
  5. The truth is, they really don't care. It's just an announcement and it's not an important aspect. It's really fanboy-ish - my mates just knowing that I know so much about theme parks and rides is shocking enough.
  6. I think Canada Creek will be very well developed over the course of the next 5-10 years. We have:SlammerLogger's LeapRocky ExpressSamurai which is a bit of an odd-ride looking at it's location. I (imo) would like to see it fit in somewhere and I think that Thorpe ties up all the loose ends they have. Moving forward is not all about building new rides and coasters but it's also about updating exisiting ones.SAW is themed as an abandoned warehouse and does fit into Canada Creek, even though it is on its own island. Think about what will happen when the license does run out after the 10-year? period.
  7. If you think that's an insult... it's not, for I've had much worse things said to me on these forums and you know it. I was just joking and was not trying to insult anyone and all was in good humour. The smiley is the hint ( )Back on topic......I think we'll find some new additions coming to Thorpe that will be really exciting and not that predictable. We all knew that a new coaster was coming to Thorpe. However, we have no idea what's happening in the future. They might add new themed areas, they will have (certain) new coasters. They might replace existing rides with new rides or even add dark or family rides. The park has an exciting and very interesting future. In 10 years time, the park will be totally different to how it is now.
  8. The amazing new-people that come on these forums and don't know what AIR is

We normally expect Thorpe's rides to open but there's always the odd (frequent) time when a ride is down.
  11. Wooden would because it could provide a different type of thrills - all their other coasters are steel. Having a coaster that is wooden, makes it more unique compared to Thorpe's other coasters. I think however, Thorpe should get one after Alton because the Woodie was kind-a their thing. Like 5 years after Alton gets theirs. They can look at how that woodie performed and make improvments. Basically, let Alton make the mistakes and Thorpe can learn from the mistakes (if any). Flyer would be a good addition to Thorpe's coasters and it could have some unique elements (if possible). E.g. Alton made some mistakes with AIR, even though it was a proto. When Thorpe gets their Flyer (whenever it may be), they hopefully won't make the same mistakes. The Flyer could compliment NI, in terms of Inverted Coasters.Floorless would be a good addition and it would have some contrasts to Colossus. They could compliment each other. Colossus being rough and full-on with hardly any leg room with its 10-inversion layout. A Floorless of 4-5 Inversions of smoothness with nice leg room - feels so free. X-Car Coaster (HRRR) or Skyloop would be nice and unique. There is only one X-Car Extended Skyloop a.k.a Abismo. The Skyloop has a different vertical lift - you go up and upside down and then down but through a zero-g roll. They could also have an indoor section before you enter the lift hill.
  12. 1-inch steeper, if it was 120 degrees that would a bit more impressive. I mean who notices a 1-inch difference? ^^

Quick thing:I'm planning a trip to Thorpe Park and I am looking to see if anyone from here wants to come. I'm free Tuesdays, Thursdays or the weekend - I am only in education Monday/Wednesday/Friday. I'm going because the weekend TPM meet was rubbish and I still haven't been on SAW. I am looking to go between the 28th March (Saturday) and so on.If anyone wants to come, just pm me or send me a message on msn. If I could get about 3-5 people, that would be good.
  19. I still haven't gone on SAW yet - I'm so excited what with the swinging blades and all
