  1. I'm quite excited. Hopefully it's as good as Raptor or even better.
  2. How do you know they just want thrill rides? Not everyone is the same. I'm sure it would be worthwhile to make the place look nicer, presentation is important.
  3. Ok, let me get more in-depth, for some peopleThorpe Park is situated on reclaimed land that used to be a quarry. It's a quarry in the middle of an urban environment. It's not that appealing and it has come quite a long way to compete with the likes of Alton Towers.Thorpe Park, have had to make do with what they have. They are not exactly Alton Towers, who was "Born That Way" with its luscious green land and woodland enviroment. AT already have that amazing landscape there and therefore doesn't require any work apart from maintaining the environment. If Thorpe Park was where AT was, they would probably look as good too. And because I don't live near AT, I have to make do, with Thorpe Park.It frustrates me, because Merlin are the 2nd biggest theme park operator and if they could be bothered, they would landscape the park more and make it look better and more appealing.
  4. I think Thorpe should capitalise on the fact that they are a lakeside themepark. I would like them to do more landscaping and tidy the whole park up and make it look less of a concrete jungle.Thorpe is reclaimed land and is doing the best they can. Alton is much better but is quite far away.

Ooo Dan is on a roll!!Gaga fans are not the most simple-minded, naive and irritating fanbase. I mean, how many Gaga fans do you know are how you described. Gaga fans are smart and most of them aren't even like how you described. What you said is a generalisation and I find that a wee bit insulting.

Shakira's album was She Wolf. It was gonna be:1) She Wolf2) Did It Again3) Men In This Town4) GypsyBut they delayed her album for a whole month to include a Timbaland song (Originally on Shock Value II) called "Give It Up To Me", which sounds so much like this collabo with Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake, "Give It To Me".Instead, they went with the Timbaland song which was Shakira's lowest opening and the delay wasn't worth it and the chairman was asked to resign.

Anyways...Jive is Britney's labelRCA is Xtina and Kelly's labelEpic is Shakira and Alexandra Burke's labelColumbia is Beyonce's labelAll are the main labels of Sony Music and all are having their individual problemsJive:Britney's album leaked 3 weeks ago and sales are not what was expected. Ciara's 3rd and 4th album had budget cuts due to mismanagement and now she has left the label after wanting to be let go. I wish it was like that for Kelly Clarkson. Ciara has since met with Interscope and Universal Motown's respective chairmans.RCA:Xtina wanted to experiment with an electro/dubstep sound and wanted to do something more original but her label didn't like the direction, so they made her do R&B songs and Bionic is her lowest-charting album.Epic:The then-chairman, Amanda Ghost, who penned songs for Beyonce became chairman of the label, with no managerial experience in the music industry, destroyed Shakira's She Wolf album.Columbia:Kelly Rowland left RCA after problems with her manager (Beyonce's Father) and has gone to Universal Motown. She's now on XFactor UK and hopefully things will look up.Sony is one of those labels that I don't like how they handle their artists and Interscope is really, the label to be at. The last four artists to get 1st week sales of 1 million + are: Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Eminem and Lil Wayne.

If I'm being honest, Sony is not the place for creative artists like Kelly. Sony is a big machine that more controlled and restrictive in terms of what music they release. Also, Sony are having merging-type issues which has caused problems with Leona and Alexandra Burke's albums.Kelly would be suited at Interscope Records because they are known for having creative artists like Taylor Swift, Lil Wayne, Eminem, Gaga, Natalia Kills, Nicole Scherzinger and others I've forgotten.

Hypocritical, double-standard parents:I hate the fact that my Dad can do whatever he wants and gets away with being aggressive and making mistakes but whenever me or my Sister does the same, it works differently. My Dad forgot to put the handbrake on the other day and mashed up our and our neighbour's car and Mum threw a huge one that spanned 3 days. He got drunk and got near violent with me, the 2nd day after. A couple of days later, everything is forgotten but minor things I do, are never forgotten. He gets to shout and say nasty things (not swear words) that make me feel like crap but when I do the same, I get slated for not having respect for my parents. My Mum said how mistakes they make, are in the past, but they get to bring stuff up that I've done whenever it suits them. It's fantastic how things are so one-way in life. In addition, she gets to be a bitch and she is never wrong, even when she is wrong and she rarely apologises for hurting me or my Sis.And the best thing is, that if I don't like how things are, I can just leave the house because according to them, at 22 yrs I am not their responsibility. Though that said, my Mum always nags and moans about the littlest things, even things that have got nothing to do with her. And she says she nags because she cares. Ironic much?

LOL @ my Dad not putting the handbrake on and it rolling into neighbour's carMy Mum is screaming at him because he did not put the handbrake on. He says he did but he always forgets and I'm having a huge laugh with my mate at how stupid he is. The back of the car is cracked and scratched hugely and the car rolled into the front of our neighbour's car, whose right, side-light is not working. I can't @ being able to use this as a future joke:Q: What doesn't have to be drunk, to crash their car?A: My Dad

That's true James well said. He recorded songs with RedOne and was dropped which created a huge amount of uproar in the industry. Shayne can sing, dance and has been said, that he is a very nice guy.I wouldn't want to be signed to Syco because Simon only cares about one thing, which is the green paper and he will only ever admit he is wrong, if his PR guy, Max Clifford suggests he should.

I did say that Daniel but, this forum can't always be so serious and not have a joke. But there's a difference between a funny joke and an ill-placed joke at someone's expense.

The part of my post, you quoted was just a joke and not meant to be taken seriously

    - Point 1, I agree with you but is 95% truly, an accurate figure? I could understand 80% but I don't think that most of the people that come on are desperate fame seekers- Point 2. What I meant by that, a lot of it is based on image. And none of the 30+ have ever been successful apart from Susan Boyle, which is a very rare case. The music that are most successful are modern, contemporary music. There are some genres of music like classical music from Il Divo and music from Ellen Page, Barbara Streisand and Celine Dion, that are very successful, but mostly, it's the mainstream music.- Point 3. All of the male winners apart from Shayne Ward have been unsuccessful. All have been dropped from the SYCO label. Steve Brookstein had disagreements with his label and was dropped. Leon Jackson released one good single and was dropped. Shayne Ward was dropped, which created a huge uproar and Joe McElderry is not making music at the moment.Steve Brookstein has his own independent label and is still making musicShayne Ward is performing in AmericaLeon Jackson is working on new musicJoe McElderry is taking part in the ITV show "Popstar to Operastar"Matt Cardel is working on his debut album and is taking a more active role in his career- Point 4. Granted but if you had your way, I'm sure you'd scrap talent shows like the X Factor. It is very hard to get into the music industry and to get signed to a good label that will promote you and support you financially. Many labels aren't taking the risks that they used to take because of the economy and the state of the music industry. But I agree, that not everyone has a dream in the Entertainment and Showbiz industryAs for Mer's point, there are some people who are very talented and don't have the confidence to go on a talent show. Take Susan Boyle for example, who knew she was very talented but didn't have the confidence to go onto the show and now... she has had a successful 2nd album and is famous in America, which is known as the hardest market to break. She has done it and I'm proud of her.And if no-one rep's my post, I will known that certain people are bias and are against me
  16. Will replied to Theme Park bloke's topic in The Real World
I don't get why you guys are so miserable and depressing. Not everyone that is on the X Factor are crap and talentless. Not everyone that goes on the show "just" cares about money, fame and popularity. Some of them do care about the music and some people do have good ideas. The 30+ people on the show are unlikely to be successful because most of them don't have modern tastes in music and the music they like is unlikely to be commercially successful. The ones like Leona, Alexandra, One Direction and Cher are likely to be successful and can sing.If you two, had things your way, no-one would achieve their dream in the entertainment industry *dies*

I never realised until 1-2 weeks ago, that Nicole Roberts is most unique and interesting Girls Aloud member. Her debut single "Beat Of My Drum" is amazing and the b-side song "Porcelain Heart" is awsome.I wouldn't have though Nicole would have been capable of delivering two brilliant songs like that. BOMH is produced by the same producer "Diplo" that made Beyonce's song "Run The World (Girls)"

What was that?Baddest biatch in the game since I don't know who, you say?The first artist in a long time to take what they do seriously, you say?The one artist to want to give people, everything she can, you say?

I'm not fan of Bad Kids (disco-elements) and the two deluxe tracks: Black Jesus - Amen Fashion and Queen. I only like Fashion Of His LoveMy Faves are:Americano - Techno with Mariachi is amazing and the "don't you try to catch me / don't you try to catch me / no no no no, I'm living on the egde of / I'm living on the edge of / the law law law law" is the best part. The reason there's the old radio effect is to pay homage to Edif PiafShibe - I don't like the lyrics but I suppose the minimalism works with the German house music. I like the chorus which is awsome, the song is danceyGovernment Hooker - I love this song but there's a new version that someone edited, that has the chorus repeated twice - like in the Thierry Mugler version and is also speed up too. Iku Iku means to cumHighway Unicorn - The "run, run with the" and the chorus which pays homage to Poker Face is amazing and the whole production, makes this song a masterpieceJudas - The religious metaphoric song that combines elements of poker face (I'll bring him down, I'll bring him down down) and bad romance (oooooo I'm still in love with Judas Baby) and the techno-house breakdown is slayage.Hair - The chorus and the techno head-banger moment after the chorus reminds me of Cheryl Cole's Promise This is brilliant, another masterpiece that is well-produced and Edge of Glory is a pop masterpiece.

Hair is amazing, it never ends and keeps on going. Marry The Night sounds like something influential of Whitney Houston and is so light and euphoric. The album has leaked and it owns so much OMG. Americano is so beautiful and dancey. Government Hooker is like the remix. Scheibe makes me tear. Part 1 http://hulkshare.com/ca3d7xtk6t1nPart 2 http://hulkshare.com/1nl31zhqpttc
