Why is there no app for Thorpe Park this season? Saving some development costs, I expect.

I think we've got to grips with why RnR is a bad idea. It seems too difficult to fully understand and take advantage of.

That's a pity. I was looking forward to a quiet park...

I was hoping that the bones and wounds would heal and it would all be forgotten in time, never to happen again. But losing a leg, something that can never be fixed, that's going to haunt the ride. I don't think it would be insensitive for Alton Towers to reopen The Smiler next year as is with additional safety measures in place. Most people who ride The Smiler in the future will be familiar with what happened and I doubt some menacing theming could faze anyone willing to ride it.

I still don't understand how the system works. You say that you want a go on one of the Big 5/4 and they send you a time to queue? As if you had Fastrack? But now it works with Fastrack? How? And what if you miss your time because you're busy queuing for another ride?

Would it be particularly easy to recreate a situation like the one on The Smiler? That would suggest they know an exact cause. If they find that the same fault (supposing that's what the major problem was) isn't on Saw, surely they can reopen it?

I shall be going on the 14th on a coach trip. Hoping for a pretty quiet day although I'm expecting Saw being closed will mean a lot of the queues will be longer.

I've gotta say I'm more disappointed with the boats than anything. I think they're bland, but I suppose they didn't want to spend much money on reverting the theme. It would be nice to have some bright colours and faux damage.

Went on Nemesis five times in one day and it didn't get boring at all. Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the front row because I haven't got the patience for that.

I've been on Air twice. The second time I thought I was going to be sick (that was more to do with the fish and chips I'd had before hand). IMO I think it's a really good ride, worst bit is at the end when you have to wait for the next people to go so you're just hanging there (spitting).
