  1. Yeah, no you don't. I'm a big saw fan but I don't think I deserve to win. It would also be like someone saying when Nemesis Inferno opened, 'I'm a massive fan of volcanes so I deserve to win'. Doesn't really work like that.Anyway, nice new video. Lots of people are complaining that it isn't that good but to be honest would you rather the budget for the theming spent on fantastic filming and sets or on the actual ride? It's a nice recreation and a nice piece of editing included.
  2. Well I don't like that either, Canada Creek is the one last place that had basically remained untouched and unthemed (apart from slammer). Theming it to like Saw land would be terrible. There goes the only decent family rides in the park and the decent theming it has or chucking some blood and a puppet on the existing theming. Basically I love the concept but I don't think it's right for Thorpe.
  3. Well yes but you hardly had Jigsaw running around kidnapping people and thrusting them in to traps in past Canada did they? That's what bothers me so much, it's just so random. I mean first I had doubts abouut the building because again it didn't look like it would fit in but now we have puppets on tricycles and traps it just seems even more bizarre. Really it isn't part of anywhere, because they're planning to make it an island. God forbid they name somthing like SAW-The Island.
  4. Hmm I have mixed opinions.First I'm a big fan of the movies and I'm looking forward to theming but this all just seems so different and odd. I just feel that is the proof that Thorpe have decided to get rid of the themed areas. This fits in nowhere. It's just plonked there and I have a feeling that the SAW theming came in after the plans we saw. The first plans we saw were very saw mill and western almost what with the windmill but windmills and saw mills (ironically) don't actually fit into the SAW theme. I love the idea of the theming and effort Thorpe's put in but it seems so un-Thorpe. I think rather than going with a film, they should have made their own story like the good ol days. This just seems so odd and especially when it's a just a simple eurofighter.
  5. Has your friend got proof? Because you can't always trust someone who works there and apparently your friend works in Creek Hotdogs and I'm pretty sure the people that work there aren't in mangement.
  6. Do you think now that the coaster is finished and once they've finished all the mechanisms and such, that they start digging out the ground around the coaster to make it an island like planned?I personally don't like the idea as it seems really pointless and makes it look like its not in any themed area, just its own but I do like the water aspect maybe interacting with the ride.
  7. Personally, I think the age restriction is a load of bull. Someone probably just made it up and spread it around. And anyway it wouldn't make any sense having an age restriction if its violent or scary because if so why don't horror/dark rides have them? Did wicked witch's haunt have one? I'm pretty sure that would've been more scary than a portion of a roller coaster.
  8. No that's Creek Hotdogs and thats in Canada Creek. The only food units in Lost City are Crust and Collossal Hotdogs. Where did you get Greek from?Lost City just isn't Greek themed, normally I wouldn't trust employees either, they normally think they know what they're on about but most of the time they're wrong. Also Neptunes Kingdom is more atlantis themed as well as the dome, why would they have another area themed to it? The general theme is mayan/ aztec because of all the references to space and the sun. Greeks weren't that big on lots of suns and the way its drawn deftinly doesn't look greek either.
  9. Ergg well I've been in Stealth's queue when it was near the enterance so that was pretty bad and about 2 years ago at Fright Nights, the queue to Rush was the longest in both time and size I have ever seen.
  10. A boat ride would be quite nice to have back actually. Gives some good interaction with Loggers Leap and the lake is nice.Future for Canada Creek? Not much I think, apart from the new coaster. All I want to see is some cleaning up and some new paint here and there on the buildings.
  11. Don't know what's up with it then. Proberly just a one day thing...
  12. ^When I went on Thursday, Stealth's WWTP was on fine. It was blasting out of the speaker's. When did you last go?
