Why is it, that when we have a bad day, we have a really bad day? Everything bad and unfortunate that could happen surely does on one day, then the next is a great day. I hate how that always happens. That was my day yesterday, fortunately today was a better day.

For you, maybe. No, its really NOT that fun.

I'm in the same boat as tpkabz, I don't know what it is, but I could happily just watch all the rides in operation for hours on end.It bores me, its the same thing over and over and over and over.... Doesn't change... whats fun about that?

How important is it to include references on applications? It's just that I didn't provide any, will this affect my chances?

I'm not on my own with that one then!I am the same as you Paul :)Then again, I am not a big enthusiast for THORPE PARK as it is so....

How sad is this, I'm more looking forward to the new Vortex restraints than Saw Alive. Ha.

Just find a decent 60's compilation. A good amount of the Stealth playlist should be on there.Oh well that is pants. I really enjoy sitting by Stealth, eating my burger and listening to the music

New restraints?
-
OohWell, it has a new look

Spill the beans! Any exact details?Oh go on, ruin the surprise. Get someone fired! It will be ace!

Stealth doesn't have any original theme music, it's all pre-published music played on 2 hour loop. TPM used to have a selection of these songs on archive, not anymore. How come there isnt any Stealth audio on Mania Hub?

Sorry to hear about your loss Will, and I completely agree with Gemma's comment. For the first time in my life last year I experienced a very close relative passing away, and it really does make you cherish what you have. It's probably the cheesiest sounding thing I've said in a while, but it's really important to live your life to the full. That phrase is so over-used be many people, but until you've lost someone so close to you unexpectedly, you really have no idea how true it is. Anyone's time can end within a matter of seconds in some cases, it's just so unpredictable.

I don't like how a lot of the off-ride video footage was taken at night. Seeing as how Fright Nights is the ONLY time of year that actually involves the park being open after sunset, I don't feel that the videos represent the rides as well as they would have done if taken during daylight.

I completely get it, it emphasises the idea that the day is an 'adventure'. Love it!Just to clear things up. The admissions areas aren't themed around Wild Asia, it's more the generic 'gateway to adventure' look they've gone for. It's a brand that's being used well throughout the website and I imagine through all promotional mediums as well. For instance when they get around to doing a European themed area, I doubt they'd be re- theming it to represent European architecture!
-
I love the new website, spot on. I love how the theming of Wild Asia has been used across the park as well (especially in the new admissions fencing/theming), rather than just in the area itself. I love that this has been done, and it really emphasises the 'adventure' of a day out at Chessington, rather than it just being a generic theme park. Really impressed with all of the recent changes.
-
I absolutely love the new admissions theming!
-
I agree in the sense that the name emphasised that Chessington isn't just as theme park, and that it has so much more to offer. That said, I do prefer Chessington.
-
I prefer 'Chessington' too. It is sharper, and makes more of a statement. Kids will remember how great 'Chessington' was. I.e.: It's a fantastic world of adventures. Not a long, stringy World of Adventures & Zoo.

Has anyone seen the 'SAW - The Ride' video on the wwwTHORPEPARKcom Youtube channel? I just watched it for the first time, and really enjoyed it actually. I think it advertises the coaster as 'the scariest coaster in the world' well, and really captures the atmosphere of the ride. If I hadn't ridden or seen the ride before, that video would be enough to get my adrenaline pumping. One of the best ride videos I've seen.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gaO2Y9khW64

I was listening to Nemesis Inferno's theme earlier. I can't wait for park opening any more!I'm listening to the Colossus theme right now, it gives me goose bumps

That's true, there seems to be some confusion here. You don't need to do anything in terms of planning. You can't walk around where you want whenever you want. You go on the tour, and go round the events in a specific order with a group of other people. Like Keith said, just turn up and you'll be fine. You dont need tips for London Dungeons as it isn't a theme park! All you have to do is follow the crowd of people around the attraction and you will be fine!
