  1. I agree, days never seem to be in the middle. Either great, or terrible :) I feel the same :P

It's really strange, and I'm sure it happens to everyone. Everything either goes the way you want it to, or nothing does.
  2. Why is it, that when we have a bad day, we have a really bad day? Everything bad and unfortunate that could happen surely does on one day, then the next is a great day. I hate how that always happens. That was my day yesterday, fortunately today was a better day.

  3. It bores me, its the same thing over and over and over and over.... Doesn't change... whats fun about that?

I'm in the same boat as tpkabz, I don't know what it is, but I could happily just watch all the rides in operation for hours on end.
  4. Sorry to hear about your loss Will, and I completely agree with Gemma's comment. For the first time in my life last year I experienced a very close relative passing away, and it really does make you cherish what you have. It's probably the cheesiest sounding thing I've said in a while, but it's really important to live your life to the full. That phrase is so over-used be many people, but until you've lost someone so close to you unexpectedly, you really have no idea how true it is. Anyone's time can end within a matter of seconds in some cases, it's just so unpredictable.

  5. Now that's an impressive party! Ride takeovers ftw! :P

Lol! It's going to be amazing though, on some rides our group's enough to take up a whole ride cycle, now that's pretty cool! :D
  6. I don't like how a lot of the off-ride video footage was taken at night. Seeing as how Fright Nights is the ONLY time of year that actually involves the park being open after sunset, I don't feel that the videos represent the rides as well as they would have done if taken during daylight.

  7. Just to clear things up. The admissions areas aren't themed around Wild Asia, it's more the generic 'gateway to adventure' look they've gone for. It's a brand that's being used well throughout the website and I imagine through all promotional mediums as well. For instance when they get around to doing a European themed area, I doubt they'd be re- theming it to represent European architecture!

I completely get it, it emphasises the idea that the day is an 'adventure'. Love it!
  8. I love the new website, spot on. I love how the theming of Wild Asia has been used across the park as well (especially in the new admissions fencing/theming), rather than just in the area itself. I love that this has been done, and it really emphasises the 'adventure' of a day out at Chessington, rather than it just being a generic theme park. Really impressed with all of the recent changes.

  9. It's an amazing video, why they didn't just cut that down a bit and make it the TV advert instead bemuses me, since it's probably the best piece of Saw: The Ride advertising (or any advertising) they ever made.

    Completely agree.
  10. Has anyone seen the 'SAW - The Ride' video on the wwwTHORPEPARKcom Youtube channel? I just watched it for the first time, and really enjoyed it actually. I think it advertises the coaster as 'the scariest coaster in the world' well, and really captures the atmosphere of the ride. If I hadn't ridden or seen the ride before, that video would be enough to get my adrenaline pumping. One of the best ride videos I've seen.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gaO2Y9khW64

  11. You dont need tips for London Dungeons as it isn't a theme park! All you have to do is follow the crowd of people around the attraction and you will be fine! :P

That's true, there seems to be some confusion here. You don't need to do anything in terms of planning. You can't walk around where you want whenever you want. You go on the tour, and go round the events in a specific order with a group of other people. Like Keith said, just turn up and you'll be fine.
