Agree 100% - flooring being replaced makes a massive difference, maybe that'll come next year? CWoA looks transformed by consistent new surfaces instead of tarmac criss-crossed by trenches where cables have been laid. I remember moaning about the state of the flooring outside DBGT when it opened, and nothing has changed since. Also, as @JoshC. said - those Ranger County floor markings just seem weird and out of place now. Surprised they've lasted this long though to be honest! And, yes, it really really really is time for the Covid markers to be cleaned away. Really hope they do that before opening.

My biggest gripe is they haven't pointlessly renamed Vibes bar again, what on earth are they thinking? Interesting that Detty says about a "finale" - some sort of fireworks related effect perhaps or reading too much into it?

Very true, though it's amazing what a difference fresh paint does make... I would assume there'll be more in closed season 2024/25 - surely the next focus is Nemesis Inferno and completely refurbing the volcano.... the fact they are doing work to the queue this year would hint to me that it's very much on their radar. Maybe a SAW spruce up too, but then, they always have the "abandoned theming" get out clause there! Maybe we'll see new tarmac surfaces a la CWoA, though quite a boring thing to spend money on, it does make quite a world of difference.

The Dodgems retheme is looking pretty much the same as the concept art from progress photos so far, to be fair.

I'll be intrigued to see if Detty gets some crazy queue times just because of the new area. Such a good little flat, one of Thorpe's most bang-for-their-buck additions.

Agreed, Black Mirror had some shockingly long queues when we visited on an "off peak" Fright Nights... I mean I suppose this year there is that new coaster thing to help eat up the queues.

I kinda like it, and credit where credit is due, the videos have been great (though they don't talk about Dezza Brown.... still too raw). The Rush poster needs a disclaimer, as touching the sky depends what swing you are on. I like the direction the park is taking, and the amount of work they appear to be doing this closed season is good to see.
