Went today and even though there was a sign saying the lights will be on, they weren't which I way very pleased about.

First day of all ride being open. Lets hope its the first of many, though this is Thorpe so wonder how long it will last? Place your bets..

But at least they do spin. I'm just wondering how long it will take for some of the effects to stop working, especially the ones in the dark section.

Just got back from the park. What I ride!!! I loved the indoor section with some neat suprises (I wont spoil it for you, although I am going to say the first small drop has incredible force), full of terror and adrenaline. The main track was full of fast turns and the ride never really slowed down.Went on 5 times as there were no queues (as expected). A great experience!

Normally takes me around 50 minutes. It may not be as far as some people but petrol is expensive . I'm not that fussed really, just thankfull I'm going.

Yep. Was really chuffed about it, cant wait to ride now. It seems a shame to drive all that way for 1 ride on it though. I'm sure it would be worth it but would be slightly disapointed if no other rides were available to the winners.

I was thinking the same thing. Wonder what were are going to be doing for an hour and half?

I got an email from Thorpe saying that I've won the chance to go on the 13th and be one of the first to ride. Firstly I was wondering if anyone else go the email (everyone may have got it), and secondly will the rides available to the annual pass holders be available to us?Thanks.Edit: O and do we actually have to pay to go?
