Inside looks well themed but the queue looks like a total bodge job (as usual for Thorpe). Would hardly break the bank to get a few small trees and jungle decoration down and make it more 'jungle' themed, but instead we get a couple wood poles with an 'entrance' sign on top. Fantastic. At least tarmac the floor properly so there aren't random recently dug-up patches everywhere... Thorpe is going to be in for a rude awakening if Paramount UK actually becomes a thing. It's the small details like this that make the difference. It's not like they're not capable either - The Swarm is really well themed in my eyes, it's just a shame that this kind of attention to detail doesn't extend to the smaller projects too (Storm Surge, Angry Birds Land, this...)

I kind of feel embarrased for Thorpe Park when I ride X now, it's in a bit of a state... sadly, I never rode it during its 'glory days'. I don't think it should be removed though, certainly not the pyramid building. I wouldn't mind a new ride inside, or at least a major refurbishment of X, but the building has to stay, its almost like a centrepoint for the park.

5-20 minutes is fast comparatively speaking, I'd rather pay a few quid and wait for that length of time than wait in the normal queue for a couple of hours

I'm going tomorrow night for the John Lewis event, 6PM - 11PM. Cant wait, I'm hoping Stealth and SAW are both open so I can finally ride them.. they're both either shut/have massive queues when I go usually :/John Lewis also have the park from the same times tonight I beleive, is anyone going today? The fright night mazes etc. will all be open, so technically this is the first (non-public however) fright night of 09?
