  1. The chain saw at thorpe parks "asylum" maze in Halloween scared the CRAP out of me!!!
  2. See I love the atmosphere at Thorpe Park, the whole park is smoked out, creepy sound tracks are played around the park, loads of horror mazes and I just love it! But I do really want to go to the Scarefest at Alton, never been there before because its such a journey but I'm planning to go this year depending on what people are doing haha! I really loved Thorpe's halloween events a few years ago when it was less popular, you didnt even have to get off stealth, they just keep making it go round, unless you wanted to get off But really want to the Alton some time!
  3. Yeah I suppose, you get the whole feeling and the atmosphere around the area! But I suppose I mostly go to Thorpe Park in Halloween so the Saw Island is a complete different experience! and thank you, I'm new to all this
  4. This is true, but I think Thorpe Park are trying to change their target audience. I feel that they are trying to make Chessi the family day out with fun rides and make Thorpe the thrill seekers exciting day out with loads of screams. I also feel that because Thorpe have completely got rid of the children and baby area for another ride. If their target audience was for the family, they would want more of those types of areas. This is true, but I guess you can go by pictures and other materials?
  5. I like Chessington, but in my opinion it isnt as fun as Thorpe Park. But thats just me, I like the thrill and excitement, whereas Chessington I find is more a family park and a sometimes relaxed day out with the kids
  6. I like the whole Saw island in general, people are saying that there are just bricks and dirt. But that is how its supposed to be. Its supposed to look like a worn down, unused warehouse! Not a greatly looked after, well maintained building haha!
  7. This is so true!

I REALLY want to work at a Theme or Water park. Its like my dream job! Its a shame that the closest good park is like 2 hours away > I just want to control a rollercoaster!!!
  9. Happy birthday mini mark, Ellie, Sebastian96, azzap96 and Lewish. HAVE A GREAT DAY!
  10. From what I have seen it looks really good. But their is one in London that is also just outside Pleasure Beach in Blackpool. I would tell you the name but I have forgotten LOL! But that looks scarier! Are you thinking of going to the London Death Trap then?? I really want to go to it haha!

When I went to thorpe park in the summer, tidal wave had a queue of over 3 hours, so it has not lost its popularity. I think that in the winter, if you get as soaked as you do in the summer, you wont dry off for the rest of the day :/ (this has happened to me many times)I have always wondered, is the splash that tidal wave makes natural? Or are there pipes at the bottom of the drop that are sensor activated which shoot water up when the boat goes over it? It just seems quite a big splash for a big boat. But then again, it could be the design of the boat that makes the splash. Any ideas?? haha

When I went on the Bubble works, I thought it was a MAJOR let down. I had heard many people rave about it but then when I actually got on it, it was an anti-climax :/ anyone else thought this?
  13. Hey, so I LOVE the Halloween event at Thorpe Park, I have been to theirs now for a couple of years but have never tried out any other parks Halloween events. Which UK Theme Park is the best for Halloween events? I think Thorpe Parks event is amazing and I love how they smoke the park out in the evening and the horror mazes, but can another park out do them? Love to hear your thoughts and opinions :lol:Many thanks, TomW
  14. I think I actually have it some where, I was on Tumblr and someone had a post which contained some music that they thought would be the new one. Let me find it and I'll post it :lol:Okay, so I have scrolled and scrolled through my tumblr and I can't find it anywhere. But if I do, I'll let you know :DTomW
