The diagram below will show a rough idea of how the boats have a drainage systemIn the top image when the boats are the station/on the lift the ball moves down and the water runs out due to the air in the newer dual layer systemIn the bottom image when the raft is in the water the water pressure pushed the ball upward sealing the gap to stop the boats flooding, although in saying that its the best method as teh gap isnt sealed effiecently so the boats to gain a bit of water when in the trough, but is drained when not in the water!

Because Fright Nights are approachings. It's the annual I hear.
-
Lets just make some small changes here.....!!......
-
from an outsiders point of view it may seem there are footers to be completed, but in saying that for all we know they could just be spares for in the unfortunate circumstance they had some breakages when being moved into there positions or around the site in general. But In all honesty who are theme park guide to stay they have been completed, does anybody other then the project team even know how many footers there are?
-
Without sounding idiotic but if nothing happening on site today, and only a single segment was erected yesterday surely that means.... still only one piece of track?
-
I saw it with my own eyes. If you don't believe me your more than welcome to go to the park and see the track piece for yourself.
-
I think you misunderstood 'RollerCoaster'... I was stating Station Track was erected today.... meaning not next week not last week today...
-
The moment of truth for all you guys, Track has started to be erected, it may only be the station track piece, but its a big jump!

So if we put Stealths control panel onto the keyboard it would be like this:Right Hand Side __1 _______2 _________3 _________ 4 ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Emergency StopLaunch ___Load______Offload______Waiting_________________________________________________________________________________________________Backspace__________W _________E _________ R _________Load______Offload______Waiting _______________ Open Attendant Gates _____________________________________ Automatic Ride Start____Station Restart____________________________________________________________T______________________________________________________P___________________ #__________S _________D __________F_________Load______Offload______Waiting _________________Gates Closed__________________________________________ Automatic Ride Stop______ Station Stop___________________________________________________________G_______________________________________________________L___________________Enter______Dispatch ______________Open Load SB________ Open Gates _____ Close Gates________ Open Unload SB ________ Dispatch_______ Shift ____________________ X _________________ V ______________ B _________________ M ________________Shift1-2-3-4 = Block Resets ( Blue Buttons )W-E-R = Jog Forward ( Yellow Buttons )S-D-F = Jog Backwards ( Yellow Buttons )Left Hand SideTrouble Light _________ Lamptest____Q _________________ WReset Button ____________________________________________Hydraulic Pumps On____A_________________________________________________________P_______________________________________________________Hydaulic Pumps Off______________________________________________________________LRide On Ind. ________Mnual Ind. ______ Automatic Ride Ind. ______ Pumps On Ind.___Shift ______________ V ________________ B __________________Shift__Ride on ________ Auto/Manual ____________________________ Pumps On/Off ___________Train Settings__ Switch___________Switch __________________________________Switch__________________ 1/2___Ctrl______________Alt_____________________________________Alt Gr __________________ Ctrl

Gonna throw it out there, but the track and supports seem to be identicle in colour?

I asked one of the Entertainments lot about Se7ens whereabouts and they said se7en is on The Beach. To confirm this Se7ens tent was Erected yesterday. It looks identical to the tent used every year prior.. from size hight and width.

Queueing wise, if you want the rides it would be better to go on the Friday as all main occupants at Thorpe will be at school and won't get there till around 4ish.My advice 10am - 3:30pm, get on as many rides as possible, & as its early on in Fright Nights the park shouldnt be rammed during the day for the above reasons. 3:30pm - choose your first maze - Personally I'd go for 2011's new attraction OR the Asylum as they will very likely be the most popular. (If you get in there early you will beat the mad rush when the school kids arrive around 4ish!After your first maze do the other mazes if you wish early on. This is the way I've done it in the past, it just makes sure you get the best of Rides & Mazes!
-
What you got to remember Thorpe's map isn't exactly... Geographically correct? Last I checked Saw The Ride wasn't opposite Vortex & and Flying fish wasn't behind Tidal Wave! If the entrance to the Island was behind Stealth through Sunken Gardens it would of been *actually* closed of to the public and works would be WELL underway by now!

If we wanted to get technical track has technically been erected... Allbeit it is only the maintenance track.. but progress for the sake of progress..And Javs, may I stress the building structure we have is only the maintenance part of the building so its going to be bigger then that! Also will be higher then what we already have.
-
I know to you it doesnt look like much has been done but because of the wider lense things cannot be seen as clearly.Just looked in detail at the picture and going back through my memory, the picture was taken around a week ago. you will need to zoom right in to see anything interesting)Is difficult to tell anything has been done as they have concentrated on the part of the site that literally nothing has been done to as of yet.The far left hand side shows the maintenace shed outline (made of wood as a mould for the foundation pouring) and the base of the lift & tower ( the wooden bits with black bits on). If you look by the maintenance shed the square like concrete foundations will be the foundations for the station track. In left part but not the middle (towards the birdge onto the island) its impossible to see the amount of footers they have laid. But honestly they ARE there. The far right hand side doesnt show much of interest as it mainly shows whats left to be done for the other side of the ride. but it does show the back end of the station foundations (sqaure blocks) and the other end of the maintenance shed.
-
The wooden box in the picture isnt the station.. thats the maintenance shed, the station wooden border ( in which is a csat for the foundations) has now been constructed.and the scale of the station has really surfaced that its going to be huge. the rectangular concrete block in front of the grey bit is the footers for the station supports & track. the station comes out just past the roudn footer at the front.
-
Gonna throw this out, but does any one else think the marketing for this is on a much larger scale than that of SAW - The Rides?
-
I find it funny everyone was adamant that no track had arrived even though on the 3rd of August I made the annoucement that track had arrived.
-
Not at the moment - The single track piece was lifted and hidden within minutes, there are 3 large containers in front of where the track laysm two red and 1 beige in colour. Along with this quite a large tent has been erected in front of the beige container/over the top between the two red ones. Not sure if the track is visable from other parts of the park.
-
No, track did arrive around 5pm on Wednesday August 3rd. Funny... Sunken Gardens is still accessible very much so! The temporary entrance to the gardens are imeadiately to the left of the stealth entrance underneathe tyre.
-
A nice shiny white crane arrived on-site today, along with this a big truck with a blue container behind... Anyone want to take a guess as to what was inside the container?
-
Ah, how about that eh? It's back open in all its glory...That was the longest few weeks in the world
-
It was getting rewaxed so the boats dont get stuck.
-
Don't know if this is still an ongoing argument between the members of the forum, but from all the time I have been reading in the shadows it has. As funny as it is.Loggers Leap's Anti-Rollback system has a more diverse system, in the event of an emergency the Anti-Rollbacks pop into action, they are not stuck or broken.
