Earlier this year I sarcastically explained why Nemesis is king of coasters. This time round I'm going to explain (in a serious-ish way) why Spiderman is my favourite dark ride of all time. (As always these are my opinions, if you do comment at the bottom explaining why you disagree I will hunt you down and get revenge oh and there might be some spoilers on the ride experience, you've been warned)
Islands of Adventure, the park that made Disney have an E-ticket attraction ready to be deployed at each of their parks in case of its success. Okay, this didn't happen in 1999, IoA didn't pull in the guests it was expected too. But it was still a huge leap in the theme park industry with some excellent attractions (especially for 1999). Most notably, Spiderman.

Hidden behind a façade is a ride building that brought to light a new style of dark ride. Simulators were a thing, pyrotechnics were a thing, 3D screens were a thing, but no one had combined these together in one show building until 1999. 3 years of development, a range of companies working together to create a masterpiece. Spiderman was born. A ride of this calibre is still thought of as an amazing technological design today. Just last year I rode Transformers for the first time and thought "wow!" the 4K screens, perfect 3D animation and flow is just flawless. So to have a ride like this 15 years ago shows just how advanced it was and still is. Maybe I'll never be able to change my opinion because of the fact it has been that awesome for so many years. I was only 2 when this ride was built, the industry hadn't even built a 10 looping roller coaster. But Forbidden Journey is a masterpiece is many ways, a huge dark ride that is technologically amazing and immersive. What is it that Spiderman has over the new boy on the block?
Maybe it's because I was a huge Spiderman fan as a kid. I first rode it when I was 5. I thought I was in the action, it was actually happening! It instantly became the ride I wanted to ride again and again, work out how it works, it sparked my interest in rides. Every time I've been to Florida since I've learnt more about how the ride works, the technology, what to expect etc. but it still delivers. When I went to Florida last year I gave Transformers and Forbidden Journey the chance. I knew the basics of the ride system, that Transformers was like Spiderman and FJ was just pure awesome, but nothing more. I went on those two rides like I did with Spiderman many years before, curious as to what was inside. Both of them are great rides, but neither of them had the same affect as Spiderman. I rate FJ second only to Spiderman and Transformers 4th, just not 1st. Spiderman sits their firmly and is unlikely to ever be toppled. Some people would say I never want Spiderman to be beaten. Nope, if a ride can beat the enjoyment and thrill I get from Spiderman everytime I ride it then it will go first.
Let's move onto the ride itself. The queue, it's the Daily Bugle! You're in the offices!!! (see this is my Spiderman love as a kid coming through). So naturally I geek out in it. But, FJ's queue is much more impressive. It's filled with technology, it's a tour of Hogwarts in a queue that never stops moving! Transformer's queue is a walk through the N.E.S.T facility, buttons to press and stuff. I'll admit, the Spiderman queue needs modernising (or at least some painting!) They updated the whole ride to include 4K screens and update the animation, it was closed for 2/3 months so the fact they didn't do anything with the queue is annoying. So nowadays I take a point from Spiderman because of this, but the ride claws it back fantastically!
Anyone who has been on Spiderman and Transformers will know they both use the same system from Oceaneering with Dynamic working on the switch tracks. Both use the Universal patented "squinching" technique for the 3D. But they both offer different ride experiences. Transformers is stunning, somewhere in that ride you go up a lift to the second floor and then back down. I didn't know this before I rode it and still can't quite work out where it happens it's that well done. The action seems more fast paced, the simulated speed in that ride is sublime! This is where it loses to Spiderman though. The story is very fast in Transformers, action packed and disorientating. It relies so heavily on screens that the transition between screens is essentially another screen. There are not external effects, transitions without screens are just simple tunnels or something. This is where Spiderman triumphs!
Spiderman is a ride heavily relying upon screens. No doubt about it. Some people dislike this in a ride but I think Spiderman does balance it quite well. Transition between screens adds to the story, you see the Statue of Liberty head that all the bad guys have stolen, you have a truck flash it's lights at you (with Stan Lee in the driving seat). Since the 4K update, in some of the scenes it's difficult to work out where the screen begins and ends. Electro's lab is the best at this. When you enter you see his lab panel at the back which at first looks so realistic like a set. the transition between scenes also utilises the "scoop" vehicles abilities brilliantly. One part you spin through a tunnel (because Oceaneering made awesome vehicles that can spin 360 degrees, vibrate, tilt, do basically anything). It's just a wonderful experience, with fire. One lovely fireball. Must go off every 20 seconds or so but Universal aren't worried about the gas bill. I think the finale scene on this ride is my favourite from any ride as well, the falling. It's unbelievable!!! Seriously feels like you're falling 400ft (actually it's only 6ft but this just shows how great the vehicles work with the screens to enhance their capabilities).
I think the difference is, Spiderman is a fun action packed adventure. It gives you time to absorb the story whilst continuously developing it. Transformers is non stop, but it is so fast I lost track of who had the allspark at some points! So Spiderman, a ride of pure fun, adventure, excitement, thrill, just brilliant! I want a ride to beat it for the pure fact I want their to be another ride out their that provides (for me) the same enjoyment I get from riding Spiderman many times. Oh, it is also the one dark ride I will ride when it's dark outside (even with a walk on Hulk just metres away and I adore Hulk as a ride).
If Thorpe create even a smaller scale version of a ride like Spiderman that uses screens, excellent transitions, effects and a storyline that can incorporate many characters and the sense of elevation change and just. Actually, no. Only do that if you're going to go all out on it.

Oh, it's also very pretty at night. And to put it in perspective, I put this ride above any coasters I've ridden as well (because dark rides can be more thrilling than coasters).
Any comments are welcome and I'm happy to discuss opinions Thanks for reading a very wordy, quite serious report (it's okay I'm going to WW soon, a classic me style report will be on its way...)

Me and Toofpikk thought we'd head down to Paramount Park last Friday. It STILL isn't ready, clearly didn't get ultimate planning fastrack, only standard. So we went on a random adventure through a £2 tunnel to some place. We had no idea where though.

They had delicious milkshakes but that didn't help.

This place was obsessed with pink and yellow.

    Like this Fireball thing.

Look at the pink and yellow!

We just couldn't think what theme park was obsessed with pink and yellow.

They had an Elvis. Must be America

And a BIG wheel. But that doesn't mean anything, loads of places have these.

    See. Pink and yellow.

Back here again. Not sure where this was but we found it 9 times.

Ohhhh. We were at Rage Southend On Sea. No that's not right.

WHY IS THIS PLACE SO BADLY ADVERTISED

All day we were confused. No idea where we were.

Thorpe Park have dodgems. Maybe I was at Thorpe Park.

No Thorpe Park doesn't have the only Archelon in the UK! But I don''t know which park does

    Railway. Useful that.

Vortex. It would be so easy to brand this ride with the park it's at!

This is a Gerstlauer. It says so on the seats.

Why would I take a selfie with a bunny when I can't even check in on Facebook as I've no idea where I am!

It's okay though, we found our answer.

We were at a 5 star loo all day I feel so privileged!

Bye bye 5 star loo! Was a great day out.

Some people went to Thorpe. Some to Towers to watch some fireworks. Some to Blackpool to ride some things at a time rowdy youths should be in bed but are instead in Blackpool riding things (interpret that how you wish).
Last year my season ended at the last night of FN (we'll ignore Florida as that never closes) and it has been that way for many seasons. This year I decided to do something different, Kempton Park Fireworks!

A lot of other people did too.

    Just a sea of heads.

But it had a different atmosphere to a theme park. Funfairs always do. It was lively, fun, just pure enjoyment!

As we weren't scared of standing on the wet mud we got a lovely clear view!

    See.

    Flash

    Boom

    Fizzle

    Just look at them.

TADAH! There were more but I was enjoying it too much to take loads of pictures. The display was good with the theme being superheroes so many superhero themes were played. It all worked well, only thing was the finale where no one actually knew it had finished as it just ended abruptly but the music still played. Other than that a great display!
But... that wasn't all. Obviously there was a fun fair in place and many rides which I hate had to be done.

    Although I love these.

I'm talking about the Ferris Wheel.

OMG A DUCK. Oh and a KMG but meh.

This was running really meh for normal people which was great for me as I hate Twisters

Saving my Funhouse money for Alpen thanks.

Extreme (Funfair people probably know the technical name, tristar maybe?)

    Much better than Vortex.

Extreme again. It's like Time Machine but less quirky.

    Where'd all the people go?

Oh Body Count must have taken them (again don't know the technical name, it's kinda like Dragons Claw)

    Fun.
Now as the season draws to a close I leave you with the most amazing thing ever. Didn't ride it it was so awesome.

    FOGT!!!!!!!!

Welcome to the theatre. Please take your seats, the show is about to begin!

This will definitely be the Big One.

    Orchestra ready!

    Water effects ready!

    It's time to...

Immerse your senses in the biggest spectacular of all time!

The 4D experience with a Blackpool Tower Post Show!

It's a small world from up here. Only the most realistic effects are used within this show.

Quick the bad guys have arrived! (sorry I didn't have time to finish this set off)

Vikings are bad guys with a hatred for pirates.

A fight scene so early on you ask? The ending won't be that good so it's okay.

    Take to your horses

And ride away like brave cowards.

Watch out for the flying dog though!

    NOT SHAUN

Dora has finished exploring though and finally saves the day!

And all is calm in Lancashire Town Play once more.

Too quiet for Wallace and Gromit...

    Streak away!

And no, this isn't a family friendly play.

Because we have the biggest big one

    Impossible speed effects being used

But don't worry, we have lights

    Waltzer

    Pleasure!

Sorry about the lack of intervals. The show loses speed if it takes a break.

Like it's just trying to fill time

The interval would be boring anyway. Would definitely try and kill you.
Time for the sparkling dazzling all glitzing finale!

    Tadah.

Here comes the staff bus to take all the alcoholics who wrote this beautiful production home.

    BYE!

Come back next year or we'll come get you...

It may not be a theme park, it may only open its doors once a year to friends and family of staff. It is one of the elusive companies within England that few people get to witness. Hidden away in Woking just around the back of Horsell Common it lies, McLaren. (If you're not a fan of rides skip the majority of this report for something at the bottom).

Welcome to McLaren's Motor Show 2014 (although I prefer that name!)

The general gist of the day is for staff to bring in their vehicles and show them off as well as other companies and groups coming down.

They use the staff car park to display all of these vehicles like these adorable classic 500s!

    Blue bug

Or this stunning looking matte black bug?

    Whistling Billy was in town.

He didn't really whistle, just smoked a lot and coughed.

    Nerd shot.

    Yeah they had one.

    BUBBA GUMPS

Some of the things that get pimped up are ridiculously awesome!

    So simple.

It's not all classic stuff though.

    They had this awesome Mustang!

    Loved it!

    And this <3

    GIMME!

    And proper tough stuff

This was bizarrely amazing! A guy made this moving robot thing (like a transformer). It was just very slow.

    Few more old things.

    Some stupid BMXers.

Thought they were going to hit the precious McLaren!

And off towards the MTC. It's a beautiful site

    Absolutely stunning!

And we'll start with the most important car to McLaren's history.

    Little Bruce's racing debut car!

From that to this. Such a shame McLaren haven't been doing so well lately.

    But back in the day...

    You had Lauda

    Senna. Prost.

Winning their first ever Le Mans

    Raikkonen

Hamilton's championship winning car after they were demoted of all their points the previous season.

All those added features for down force had to be removed due to new regulations.

So now we get the much sleeker looking cars (although slower)

Button's first car at McLaren after winning the championship with Brawn in 2009.

    Some awesome trophies!

    And Hamilton's first F1 car

In which he won his first race and almost won the championship.

    Sign doesn't lie!

These don't look as confusing as made out.

    McLaren F1 GTR

    Rear wing Tooned thing

McLaren Applied Technologies bikes that did really well at the Olympics and Tour De France for Wiggins and Cavendish.

    Some more Special Operations.

    650S

    The stunning new P1

    It's jaw dropping.

McLaren's are definitely suited to orange.

    McLaren Mercedes SLS

    It's pretty long.

    MP4-12C
And that's it from the cars. Now to head over to the field where they had a few more activities.

Like a Helter Skelter! Which was free.

    And some bouncy castles!

And the one thing everyone raves about at this event, DEMON DROME!

Good pun here if anyone can spot it

    Vehicles at the ready...

    And we're off!

    These guys are insane!

They come as close to you as possible. And you feel the whole structure wobble too.

Wouldn't be a fun fair show without a lady doing something showy off.

And then two of them went racing!

Quick take him on the inside!

    Go on!!!!

    It ended as a draw!

And then it was time for the car!

That wire is a life saver!

So there we are, Special Operation over.
If you're a fan of cars and anyone offers you a ticket to this event it's a must! Bar food and drink all the added features like Pit Stop challenge, Demon Drome, racing simulators and so on are free. Even the tickets are free if you know people in the business. It's an excellent day out which only 4000 people a year get to experience. (Don't worry, theme park TR's will resume next week with Adventure Island and then Blackpool soon after).

Here we are, the park home to Ultimate things like Raptor Attack, Angry Birds and some random stuff.

Here we see the Ultimate wheel that they have. It's so good that even on busy days they only load half the carriages.

Much like the annoying Drayton, LWV opens its gates at 10 but the main rides at 10:30. However, you can't even go down towards them from 10 so this happens. And with Ultimate things behind the man a queue of stampeding people formed!

So we went on the wheel which was opened and then RAN (for people who know me that is an ultimate thing!)

We ran, we saw, nothing Ultimate happening here. So did Raptor Attack which is Ultimate!

    So we went mining.

This tunnel really is as small as it looks!

And this beam really is low! Ultimate theming here.

Raptor Attack is a generic coaster you find at fun fairs, however in the dark with a really well down internal queue and animatronic raptors throughout the ride it is pretty Ultimate!

    Speaking of which...

They have a ladybird Zierer Tivoli!

And yes in the background is indeed a Reverchon spinner!

    Ultimate green spin it was.

    While we're talking about green...

The green Falls of Terror water slides!

    With a blue sign

    Like this man.

And parts of the sky! The sky is blue! Ultimate British weather!

    This wall is blue too.

    YAY ABAP AT LWV! YAY

All the space guys say hi

    To the generic guys

Not a fan of oversized birds though. Ultimately they aren't real

Through the rings we go back to the real world

I will. If it's Ultimate that is.

Important sign there ensuring you have Ultimate fun. Oh and a meh wood sculpture.

This guy is a legend. He made a bird fly! Ultimate lad.

    He approves.

Mr Ferret wasn't too sure though. His day clearly hadn't been Ultimate.

Urgh camera was facing the wrong way guys. Sorry let's get back to Ultimate things.

    Like the insane Whirlwind.

    And Ultimately awesome skate karts!

    Weeee!

    Ultimate failing going on here!

    These are pretty good.

    Do like their green though.

At least that way the rides are camouflaged.

See! You can't see the rides! Ultimate camouflaging skills!

Just watch out for the train.

They are living on the edge without train gates so remember to look both ways for an Ultimate day out.

Here are a few things that I find Ultimately sickening.

This is my type of thing!

    Speedy tractor.

Just know it's going to be fast with a sign like that!

Camouflaged cherry picker. It's difficult to see I know but I'm Ultimate and can see it.

    Real animals

This was my lunch the following day. After all, it was national hamburger day.

Not even going to ask. It's that Ultimate.

Something through the trees. Didn't look Ultimate enough though.

    Few more Ultimate things.

    Blur of Ultimateness.

    No blur.

    OOOOOO. Not bad.

Ultimate lad up there on the lift hill. Not sure what ride this was. Still wasn't Ultimate enough for us.

    Yes Ultimate things

So with the Carousel done we'd been on everything bar one ride. They call it "The Ultimate." Don't know why.

    It had a long queue.

    Only one working train.

    Boring signs.

    Not running is boring.

    Stupidly placed chains.

    Safety features like air gates.

Lift hills everywhere which take an age to complete.

    Stupid thing.

Just a shame it's so darn good! Ultimate is amazing! Relentlessly awesome! It has some gimmick too, not sure what but it doesn't need it! Best ride on park.

    Well after this bad boy!

Yesterday we decided to take an important English man to a place of Lego. Mr Lego William Shakespeare. I'll hand him over to you for this report

Suspicion always haunts the guilty mind. And this hand is suspicious, but I'm not guilty.

Welcome to the very merry land of Lego. Let's not read that rubbish book though, lets read a few of my plays.

This life, which had been the tomb of his virtue and of his honour, is but a walking shadow.

    Certainly a big walking shadow!

    Look mum it's Darth Vader!

O Romeo, Romeo! wherefore art thou Romeo? He's right next to you! It's like they've never seen the play.

OMG it's a train! Like a real train!

    Though shall not ask.

    Or pass.

My hair's bad in this one

    How'd I get up here?

I'm full of words. You don't want to eat me.

If food be the food of food, eat on!

    Oh hi there

I'm safe here... right? Don't want me dying for a second time!

    His colour choice is amazing.

Do you think he's seen me? Hope not

RUN! (Look at that blur... so much speed!)

    They'll never find me here.

    Or here.

    Definitely won't expect me here!

I settled in to my hotel room and got it ready for my new girl.

The course of true love never did run smooth. Especially not in Legoland.
Good night, good night! Parting is such sweet sorrow, that I shall say good night till it be morrow.

Oddly placed sign in the trees

Odd water slide effect at the entrance.

"You calling my park odd?" Yes.

The Lynx didn't want to argue

That's a Fishing Cat. Odd that it wasn't fishing.

Odd chimp (because there's one of them ) looks at Appocalypse.

    This seems more humpty bumpty

Compared to this. This is just weird.

    But a good weird.

    How odd.

    BEST ENTRANCE EVER!!!

    AND QUEUE!

    This is odd.

    But so much fun!

    Rainy Shockwave

    With odd straight bits.

    Designed with a ruler.

    Seats were a bit bumpty.

Odd dip before the lift hill.

Poor dinosaur. Clearly wan't a good enough oddity for the main park so got stuck on the train route.

What a strange looking cloud. How odd, it rained in England.

Slowest turn from lift to drop on any water ride. Wouldn't be Drayton if it didn't have an odd feature.

Free Radio dodgems were very odd! Especially as it took them longer to check all the cars were empty than load the ride. Odd procedures.

Urgh. Not odd, not humpty bumpty, just rubbish. Will be getting my vote for best UK ride

    Something normal

Phew. Oddness best IP on a ride ever! It's literally the sign, that's it!

    Odd, quirky, but great fun

    YAY MORE THOMAS!

    Percy loved this idea!

It means we'll get duelling bubble people

Back to the oddities. The bats are just weird.

    Oddly placed lights.

The odd stand up with no floor wasn't working. So quite normal really.

So let's have some more humpty bumpty goodness!

No Merlin, this isn't a colour you seem to know of. It's green.

    Lot's of green!

It has a splash zone, that doesn't get you wet. Really odd.

And just in case you'd forgotten where we were. The oddity makes it good fun, the weather made it interesting, if you made it to the end of this then the word odd will probably annoy you from now on. How odd.
  9. Mitchada04
After my weekend at Towers I thought I'd explain why Nemesis is my favourite.

Even before this point you can hear it roaring around its twisted layout which can be quite intimidating. It is the roar of a monster! An untamed alien that wants to escape!

The British weather was brilliant to help set the scene! But you can stand directly under element of Nemesis with no netting ruining your photos.

    Unlike Smiler

Without the netting these photos would have been half decent!

Nemesis is full of force! It's relentless!

This is one drop. All be it forceful but not anything significant. The only bonus about Oblivion is the long ride time you get due to the stacking.

Nemesis may be a mix of a few colours but it looks good for the ride theme.

Due to height, the black sections on this look stupid.

    Nemesis has never been rethemed.

This has (although I do really like Duel).

Some say it's rough, no just intense.

    This was rough.

    It has a cooler station.
This makes you look at blue lit concrete.

    It's not trimmed.

    Th13teen is.

    It's never caught on fire.

    The Skyride has.

    It's fun all the time!

    The Flume isn't.

    And it's 100% photogenic!
Okay so maybe I've been a bit harsh on the other rides, but for me Nemesis is best! Some of you probably think I'm a sheep and just follow the herd of people who love it. No. My first experience of Nemesis was when I'd just hit 1.4. Never been to Alton Towers before hand and we went on the Monorail to the entrance. With our AP we went to Forbidden Valley for ERT and I heard the roar! No idea what it was until I saw it. And there it was, Nemesis! I remember my first ride and after many years it's still never disappointed! Sure it's not the fastest, or the biggest, but for me it holds a special place in my heart and has never let me down. I appreciate everyone is entitled to their opinion, but that is mine
  10. Mitchada04
As part of the 2-4-1 deal TPM was given for the new VIP experiences, a group of us went down to go behind the scenes and ascend 127 feet.
We began our day going into Stealth's bunker where the launch system sits. The size of it is ridiculous! There are a few photos of Inatamin accelerator hydraulic systems around the internet but they don't do it justice! It also makes the coolest noise ever when it launches unfortunately, no picture were allowed down here so here's one of everyone's favourite Stealth element.

I also really like this photo

Next we headed up to the console where we saw people press buttons and how the system registers where a train is at any one time. For anyone who loves codes, Code Bronze is where it doesn't launch (because the dog is out of the 3mm tolerance on the 3 tonne catch car), Code Silver is a rollback and Code Gold is a stall at the top of the ride.

We were however allowed out onto the platform thingy of the station to take pictures

Yes, we also got to wear fancy hi-vis jackets alongside our steel toe capped boats.

Still amazes me that this thing is 3 tonnes!
We then headed under the station to watch a launch and here the dog fall into the catchcar (that's what the lovely ping noise it makes while moving back and forth before launch is) and then down the metal path to the warehouse.

In the workshop we were lucky to see one of the trains that is operational this season (don't ask me why it was in there and not operational, surprisingly that wasn't a question that came to mind). In here we saw them drop the dog and realised how little actually touches the catchcar to launch it. There was also a cannibalised train which they rebuild over the season so over winter they only have to strip down one train as the other is done during the season. We were then meant to head to Saw but we overran at Stealth (2 hours we were there for ) so were given The Swarm's workshop before our lift hill walk.

    Wee!

With 10 of us around this hatch taking pictures, people soon began to wave and shout at us

We waited around for it to close and then watched the magical transfer table move!

Although it may look slow, you have to remember it's carrying a ridiculously heavy train and it is moving as fast as possible as this was requested by the park and B&M set it to the fastest safest speed.
    The track locks into place

    We all ran away

    And in it came!
Like other B&Ms, the wheel bogeys are left completely open making it easy to inspect and change without having to move the train (like you have to on those wretched Intamin rides) so the train runs on a set of wheel in the middle and two rails where a slot between the seat runs along.

    And out we went

    To the control booth

    Sun setting

    To ascend this!

    Still going

    Higher

    And we made it

And what a view it is!

    Quick panoramic of the park

And it was time to come down
Few things, the park went to B&M and asked how they'd go about making it backwards. They considered alternating rows, one whole train backwards and the other forwards and in the end when with what we have due to the queueing situation. B&M supplied four new chassis for it and they do still have the other four for when it went forwards so it may return but for now it will remain as it is as it's still proving popular. The engineers do try and keep the theming in working condition and even want to replace the sign as its peeling away but budgets say other things and it's not always possible for them to fix effects such as the water spray and fire as their job is to get the ride operational and often by the time they've done that it's open and they can't get to the effects. The gas tower was also mentioned and they are looking into bringing back the fire especially with ABL now open but again budget and time says otherwise.
Was a great day and the view from Swarm's lift is amazing!

    Goodnight Swarm.

My aim this year is to visit as many of the British theme parks as possible giving this blog the name "A Year of Britain" in the hope that next year it can expand and so on Anyway, first up is the delightful Paultons Park!
I had only been once before back when Cobra opened in 2006 and it was a really nice day out. So 8 years on it was time to see what had changed.

Upon arrival it was raining But do not fear, it was only the bizarre but cool new raining tree!

Although the new entrance wasn't ready and we had to go through that lovely tent it sure is a nice looking new entrance and plaza!

This bird was certainly impressed with the new entrance!
One thing about Paultons is how beautiful it is! The park is in a lovely country setting and has some great nature and wildlife. But it is also clear that they care about the appearance of the park which is great!

Lots of open grass space! It's really nice as this is the first thing you see before any rides. Peaceful and tranquil.

Before the rides opened at 10:30 we had a wander through the dinosaurs.

All dinosaurs looked happy and well looked after so all good here.

Not yet weird purple lava volcano drop tower with a dinosaur in the queue...

Time for the first ride of the day on the very decent Cobra!

It's a very blue ride! So to counteract this they have cleverly placed a red bin in the way of this shot.

Now don't confuse Cobra with Kobra at Chessington, down here they call it The Edge. Quite easy to tell the difference, Paultons spell things properly, Merlin use stupid letters.

After sorting that out, we rode Magma!
Queue is weird but nicely themed, ride makes very little sense (a volcano with a dinosaur and a mine? Yeah I know...) but it was a fun ride. Made me a bit queasy as it spins slowly while dropping and goes on for ever but still fun

Moving on we have Red boat Blue boat Up boat Down boat. I mean Raging River Rapids. Standard fun fair model but good fun and very bright!

Look at how nice the plants around this chairswing is! And Cobra.

We were a week early for the Victorian carousel But it looked good and the plant things around it were really cool!

Mr Meerkat will definitely be first in line!

    What's this I see?

Mr Penguin isn't giving it away...

Of course it's Peppa Pig World!
Although it was heaving in there which is good because it made the rest of the park dead, it is really well done! It's bright, cheerful, heavily detailed and the rides are based on the characters making it very popular. For what was a relatively small and unknown park, this area has given the park new life and success! They (unlike Drayton) don't keep adding to this area, they are instead using the money and improving the rest of the park adding a variety of family thrills! Merlin, Cbeebies land has a LOT to live up to.

A ride with a sting in its tail.

And I will finish this entry up with a picture of the really nice 4D cinema! I hear that the same company are doing the 4D cinema at Thorpe which fills me with hope as this is a really nice cinema!

Our penultimate instalment takes us to what has become my favourite theme park...

    Welcome to Universal Studios Florida!

What will this chapter of our adventure have in store I wonder?

The Cat in the Hat shall enlighten us!

    Let's start back...

    To the Future

    Now home to Jebediah

    Lard Lad

    And Clumsy Wigum!

Watch out for Kang and Kudos though! They'll put you in a spin

And make you a bit Tipsy

    Or Sirly.

    DuffMan doesn't care though

As long as you buy Duff!

And then treat yourself to a Krusty Burger thanks too

    Krusty himself!

    Moving on we have

    Men In Black!

Which really isn't a disaster (even though some peoples scores were!)

Something tells me the Amity retheme has gone a bit overboard...

Christmas Tree was Rocking out over the Christmas period!

Really it's a massive grey shed.

    Hiding a red train.

    Time for a musical interlude

    Not enough?

Have some Blues Brothers as well!

Warning Civilians, your help is needed!

    E7 Error!

    E7!!

Optimus Prime needs your help (or just wants whatever he is pointing at, probably a dink)

We were called away from the music to try and stop a doll?

This I can understand, but really, a doll?!

Of course not, this was the Horror Makeup Show!

    What's this?

    Hop?

Ohhh, the film about a bunny!

Garfield didn't want candy so instead

This was actually due to Macy's parade. The All Star Parade didn't happen while we were there so every half hour one of the 4 floats/routines would come out and do a performance followed by a meet and greet. The 4 acts were Hop, Despicable Me, Dora, and SpongeBob! On our first day it was a huge surprise but a great one at that!

    Shrek 4D

And to conclude let's talk about in my opinion an overly underrated ride (or highly criticised for flaws that have been resolved/improved)

    Hollywood

    Rip

    Ride

    Rockit!

This element is great, really pushes you out of your seat and a great high speed change in direction!
It's a fun ride which has massively improved since I rode it in 2009!
Opinions are free and everyone is entitled to their own but these are mine.

And this Twister of events brings us to the end.
A little write up on two things before I finish.
Transformers: Using the same technology as Spiderman this is a brilliant dark ride and is much more screen based than Spidey (that's why I prefer Spiderman over it) but it certainly feels much more involved at times with the riders being a key role to the story.
Despicable Me: The ride basis is exactly the same as Jimmy Neutron but just a much more complete experience with more pre shows and guest interaction. And MINIONS! Enough said.
So thanks again for reading and we hope to see you one more time!
  13. Mitchada04
This latest instalment even has adventure in the name, welcome to Islands of Adventure!
Let's take it one island at a time!

And let us start in the wacky world of Suess!

Which home to one fish, no two fish, are they red fish or blue fish though?

    And an exceedingly unique carousel!
Moving on from Suess we enter the Lost Continent! Which now feels even more lost.

Sinbad, a decent show when you ignore the construction going on behind it.

Now time to enter the place many will be wanting to see...

The Wizardring World of Harry Potter!

    This actually moves!

And the first challenge, Dragon Challenge!

Champions you are ready for battle good luck!

    Hagrid's hut!

    With a Hippogriff!

And the masterpiece of the whole area

    Forbidden Journey!

Yes it is a massive shed behind but up front it is sure impressive!

    Bye bye Hogsmeade

    And hello Jurassic Park!

    Home to

    DINOSAURS

    Of course

    And this beautiful view!

    Wonder what happens here?

    This happens!

    Moving on

    Toon Lagoon!

Best water ride I have been on.

And last but not least, Marvel SuperHero Island!

    And The Hulk!!!

A view from Port of Entry

And the car park concludes this chapter! Don't worry, more photos of Islands will be appearing in the night time photo edition! But until then, thanks for reading and join us again at Universal Studios!
  14. Mitchada04
Today we venture to the bright world of Lego, now in Florida!

The entrance area is lovely and open and fresh, much better than Windsor's.

Must be a thing to have dinosaurs at the entrance to LEGOLAND's.

    And some Lego tourists.

Once again it was apparently Christmas time, still didn't feel like it.

We begin the journey in their newest land, World of Chima!

It's a heavily themed splash battle which I'm sure to any viewers of Chima would make loads of sense! But even to someone who hasn't ever seen Chima, the story was clear and effects very good. The only thing it lacked was interaction with the effects because all day you would be the only one on the ride so didn't have anyone to "battle."

    Knight's Kingdom was up next

    Home to the Dragon

And one of the jousting rides, which we were too tall for.

    Land of Adventure!

The whole Egyptian theme works much better in the Florida sun

    And Dinosaurs!

    As a wooden coaster!

Lego City with this very impressive Lego Ford!

    And Flying School

    An awful Vekoma.

    So moving on swiftly

    Jungle Coaster!

    I mean Project X!

    Pirate Ski Show!

And now to relive a bit of history.

I know they have to keep this by the State Law I think but I'm still very impressed with the upkeep they have put into these gardens.

Not even the crazy rabbit is allowed in!

Time for a look at Miniland.

    Trust Merlin.

I really liked LEGOLAND Florida and I really hope it is a success. It has got everything apart from a log flume which surprises me, but it is still a beautiful tranquil park like it was when it was Cypress Gardens. Time for another break before we head over to Islands of Adventure. So sit back and have some lunch until next time.

  15. Mitchada04
Here it is, my blog on my trip to Florida! It will be split up into 5 entries, 1 on each of the parks: SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, LEGOLAND Florida, Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios.
Because it is always such a relaxed park and was the start and end to our holiday, first up is SeaWorld!

It's just a lovely place to walk into and as the holidays were approaching, everywhere was all Christmassy! What more could you want?
Of course, a B&M flyer with a water splash right in front of you as you turn the corner.

What's its name I hear you ask...

    And up they go!
The ride is amazing, such force on the pretzel loop and a great flying experience with some decent interaction with the waterfall entrance feature. Definitely stands proud on SeaWorld's skyline! What also makes this ride great is that if you hate rides, there is a lovely aquarium next door which shares the tank you walk past in the ride queue and has some of its own species such as an octopus.

Moving on we find ourselves at yet more stingrays, so we must be at Stingray Lagoon!

This pool allows you to stroke (if that's what you'd call it) stingrays! They do like to splash around though which is always good fun!
On our way to Trek with some Turtles, these fellas swam by.

Blue Horizons (dolphin show) is a great mix of music, colour and dolphins.

    Woah dude!

    Look a turtle!

    2 turtles!
Turtle Trek is a lovely new attraction. Whilst I wasn't a massive fan of having to queue to see the underwater viewing, 5 minutes isn't bad and the 3D 360 degree movie was a great story! And the music in that area is so calming and relaxing.
    Time for some sunbathing.

    Who doesn't love alligators?

Journey To Atlantis was next and I have to say, this is the ride that needs refurbing next! The dark ride bit is seriously outdated in its effects, makes little sense and is wasted potential. It just shows how old it is especially with the dark rides being made by Uni. Other than that, a good fun water ride with a coastery final drop.

    The Kraken awaited us!

Fortunately it was wide awake so we didn't have to disturb it.

Poor Kraken never gets any sleep with these sea lions and gulls around!

Pirate Island! Clyde and Seamore save the day in what has to be my favourite show at SeaWorld. The humour is great and the audience interaction is amazing. A tip for everyone, get to this show 20 minutes early, it is so worth being there that early!

Next up we travelled to a different place entirely, Antarctica!

    Where they also celebrate Christmas.

This icy world transports you to the freezing cold penguin environment.

The enclosure is superb! The ride good fun (mild is very mild wild is basically mild) but nonetheless a decent ride and a big improvement on the old penguin area.

Continuing on we ascended this 300ft SkyTower.

Previously you've had to pay for this but now it is free for everyone and offers some great views of the park and surrounding area. You can clearly see the Epcot ball, Tower of Terror, Space Mountain and Doctor Dooms Freefall.

Jaws I mean Shark Encounter followed and hopefully this will be the next enclosure to get a refurb once the Shamu one is complete.

We then had a go on the flamingo boats.

Saw some actual flamingos and went on the quest for Shamu!

As Shamu's area was being improved I hereby name this squirrel who was on the construction fence Shamu (We could have watched the show but always missed it and weren't overly fussed.

The Polar Express will help us move along swiftly...
To the end of our Sea World adventure, but don't fear, the adventure will continue at Busch Gardens very soon!
  16. Mitchada04
Welcome to part 2 of my Florida adventure at...

    Busch Gardens!

What a beautiful day it was

So let's leap into the action!

    And begin the day with

    Gwazi!
I know many people detest this ride, but I love it! Yes it's a bit rough, but for me it is still a thrilling enjoyable ride! For me it will be a shame if it goes.
    ]
The death of Gwazi is not yet confirmed but for Timbuktu it sure is.

Glad Scorpion isn't leaving though, it is a good fun ride.

Up on The SkyRide we saw a hippo,

    Some flamingos

    And a Cheetah hunting!

But before all of that, the Congo is calling with the mighty Kumba roar!

Kumba is one of the most highly rated B&M's out there and deservedly, but it doesn't have massive theming pieces which people seem to love at the moment. It is just perfectly styled as the above picture shows, whilst there is no direct theming it is a themed or well styled ride. It just works.

Montu is the opposite, it is heavily themed.

But also fits in. Another great example of how to do a roller coaster well.

This Hyena is tired of rides for now though, so we will take an animal break.

Hang on, that's not an animal! Guess it's ride time again!

Can you do this Oblivion? No. No you can't.

After a quick cool off from the heat it was time for Busch Gardens latest addition...

It is such a beautiful looking ride. The green and yellow combination is great!

It is a great family coaster! Has the punch of an Intamin launch, silky smooth, fast paced ride with some excellent pops of airtime and speedy changes in direction. Can't compare it to Maverik but this is certainly great fun!

    And away they go!

It may not look it but it was Christmas time...

    This sign says so!

This brings us to the end of our 2nd adventure! Next up is a world of Lego and gardens, so from me and the meerkats we will see you there!

  17. Mitchada04
Having noticed the lack of FN trip reports I thought I'd make one for my visit after surviving the storm of 2013!
The park opened late, didn't affect our visit as we arrived at 1. The only things we noticed was they had moved Cabin's queue entrance to the Colossus side due to a huge puddle on the normal side, and a few metal fences had fallen over at the Inferno end of Blair Witch. The park was very quiet with the longest queues we noticed being 45 minutes for Saw and an hour for Asylum. Due to the walk on rides we did these all night and only ventured into the Cabin. The staff were once again great with The Swarm operator turning the lights of in the station on some dispatches which looked great! Slammer, Samurai and Loggers were closed all day but apart from that we didn't witness any breakdowns. So a great evening and a great ride count:
    Swarm: 3 -2 forward 1 backward
    Saw: 2
    Colossus: 3
    Nemesis Inferno: 2
    Stealth: 5
    X: 5
    Detonator: 3
    Rumba: 1
    Cabin: 1
    Rush: 2
    Picture time!

    Theming!

My camera was working too fast so there are a few photos like this.

You're Next were utilising the blurry effect last night.

The woods survived the storm just about

    It's on fire!

    The Swarm will save it...

    Oh that's on fire too.

This is what the station looks like in the dark.

Loved this, the one in the Stealth plaza is also lit up and has smoke which blows across the launch track.

The water is so clean it sparkles!

    Action!

    Colossus with no train

    Colossus with train.

    Colossus with lanterns.

    Towards the tower of light...

    Purple Stealth

    Blue Stealth

    Green Stealth

    Orange Stealth (my favourite)

Blue Stealth with a train at the top.

And I leave you with a question, what is this a photo of and where was it taken? (answer in the comments section if you want )
  18. Mitchada04
With the weather looking okay, the only chance I'd get to visit this year, and having heard that the first Saturday is quiet I headed to Chessington today. Had a great day and it was indeed very quiet! Longest we queued was 35 minutes for Vampire with most other rides being 10-20 minutes. Operations also seemed slightly better on some rides (still generally shocking compared to other parks but an improvement none the less). Didn't venture over to the Hotel side of the zoo so I have no idea how well that development is coming along. The only ride I witnessed break down was Rattlesnake, twice. Once when I was about to board everything just stopped, and second time when I was on the ride break run before the station so I sat there for 5 minutes. Other than that a great day and some photos taken:

The sky was very fitting for a Halloween event!

    Sir Arthur's Kobra

    Rattlesnake working...

    Rattlesnake not working.

It was going so fast it's blurred.

    In we go

    We made it!

    These poor people didn't. R.I.P

The count wishes you all a happy Halloween!

Before you read this is a very tongue in cheek report.
There is a well known phrase that often gets thrown around regarding Thorpe, "If I wanted to look at trees I'd go to a garden centre." So I decided to visit Thorpe and see what gardeny stuff it has to offer.

First of all you're greeted by this lovely lake surrounded by trees!

More of this lovely lake and the trees.

    Lots of foliage...

    Even more!

Some nice trees with decorative rocks.

An array of trees, I'm spoilt for choice.

Another lake and you guessed it, trees!

They even tried to make it like an experience with the dense foliage.

And more with a scaled up volcano piece that you'd put in your fish tank.

This bunch of trees looks interesting, like they're shaped around an entrance

These trees look well cared for.

    TREES!

    Even a baby tree!

And themed trees for that ultimate devastated look in your garden!
So maybe the "tree" statement should be more like "If I wanted to look at plants I'd go to a garden centre" because you don't really go out to buy a tree.
    So plant wise...

    Some nice flower boxes.

    Nice selection of potted plants.

Lovely flower bed. The colours are very enticing!

    More flower boxes

A nice array of plants and flowers with another decorative rock!

    Simple yet very effective.

Look at them all, so pretty

There's so much it's having to fight for space!
So I think that saying about Thorpe is well and truly rubbish. I had a better day looking at the trees and plants at Thorpe than at any garden centre! The only similarity is this...

They had this very expensive ornament called "Slammer." I was going to buy one but apparently it's currently unavailable even though it's sitting right there! The labels on items always lie.
    Thanks for reading
  20. Mitchada04
I was hoping to have something on the Ice Cream thing as well but that didn't seem to materialise so these two pictures of the only 'snowy' thing they had shall have to do.

Max and Jack are excited for Stealth to set of the snow...

But they are unimpressed when it doesn't happen and Max takes it out on poor Mr Snowman
After our wonderful picnic provided by Jack (no pictures because it was so amazing) we waited for Styles.

Max was going for the creepy look and doing it very well

And Jack's going for the "hey I'm Jack, please be my friend" look

In an attempt to not have to look at the Crash Pad Max uses his super cool shades and the backwards walk

And it worked so he celebrates. And hey Detty

Storm Surge ruining yet another picture to be taken at Thorpe.

But Stealth knows how to get out of its way

    The Swarm in darkness

And how the queue looked (and was on all the rides)

And here's a nice group shot of Styles, Jack, and Max enjoying their free ponchos, towels, and hot chocolate.
It was a great afternoon/night with great people!
    Thanks for reading

Yesterday (16/07/13) I ventured up to London to do something many of my friends had recommended to me, Up At The O2. This is where you climb over the O2 on a walkway that was made and opened up last year. It is expensive at £25 a person (for adults) and is pre book only (well it's not but good luck finding a space on the day). Climbs take place every 20 minutes with groups of up to 15 people. It is a full on experience with a pre show telling you all the safety information and random facts (the video was far superior to Zufari's pre show). Base camp is also nice themed with lots of climbing gear stuck on the walls. Once harnessed up and clipped onto the walkway you ascend the 52 metres at a 25 degree angle. The path is very springy which I found great fun (not sure the person in front did though ). Then you get around 20 minutes at the top on a sturdy platform to take as many pictures as you want (shame it's not the prettiest part of London). Then you clip back on and descend to 0 metres at an even steeper 30 degree angle. Once at the bottom your stuff (shoes etc.) has been delivered to the other base via a little car and trailer. Being a keen climber, I found this very enjoyable but for many it may sound boring and for some it will be. It is expensive as well but if you're into this sort of stuff I recommend it.
Before the photos, here are a few random facts about the 02:
It has 12 pillars to represent the 12 months
It is 52 metres for 52 weeks in a year
The diameter is 365 metres for 365 days in a year.
If you turned the roof upside down it would take 15 minutes for Niagra Falls to fill it.

    Beautiful day for the climb.

And in case you think it is different at the summit, they kindly display the conditions from up there at Base camp.

    Half done...

    Half to go.

Canary Wharf and the 'massive' Shard.

    Ahhhhh...

    Never mind.

    Olympic site.

    Emirates Airline and Thames Barrier.

And here's a panoramic shot because my phone can do that sort of stuff.
The day wasn't over though as the London Dungeon was still to be done. All I'll say here is that it is very good but not Tooley Street. A full in depth review (which will contain spoilers) can be found here: http://forum.maniahub.com/topic/1658-london-dungeons/page-19#entry163465
Thanks for reading and I leave you with this photo but I don't know why.

Whilst this isn't a theme park it is definitely a great tourist attraction and definitely deserves a trip report.
The tour is well known globally with people travelling from all over the world to visit. We saw: English, German, Hungarian, Argentinian, South African, Turkish, Japanese and many more people of different origins. So it is certainly a well known tourist attraction!
So where do we begin? Well firstly, this may contain spoilers for those of you who haven't been and may like too. You have been warned. Secondly, this is very picture heavy.
You arrive at the studios and unsurprisingly they look like film studios. This is because they are, or were.

This lovely sign greets you before you join a lovely cattle pen queue to enter the VT room. Us Brits really love queuing!

The queue has a bit of theming though with Harry's under stair cupboard.
You watch a lovely video about the success of the Harry Potter franchise. Then you move into a seated area and sit before the entrance to Hogwarts! The seating was a bit strange as almost as soon as you were seated you had to move to the doors.

These guards take no prisoners when it comes to protecting Hogwarts!

Then all of a sudden you enter into the Great Hall.

All the teachers are here to keep us safe.

But watch out for the fiery gargoyles!
After a staff member talking to you about the Great Hall you are free to wander the rest of the tour at your own pace. Within this part are many of the props and rooms from the films. This is also where you see how the special effects are done with the use of green screen.

    This table looked nice.

Watch your heads, these may fall on you.

    Tic toc.

    Snape, the good baddy.

The Goblet of Fire with a lack of fire.

An awful panoramic of Dumbledore's office.

    I like this door.

    Gringotts vehicle.

Tim Burke tells us the magic behind the flying broom, and they really use magic!

Decapitated Hagrid, his dog and their home.

Professor Umbridge has an unhealthy cat obsession.

The Death Eaters disapprove of this.

So create a very strange statue.
From here you go outside to see some of the larger props, very nice of a nice day but I doubt it's much fun in the rain.

This is a purple bus with three floors, your eyes aren't deceiving you.

The houses on Pivet Drive look very nice.

Some work could be done here though.

    The bridge.

    Certainly a memorable grave.

    Wizard chess anyone?

    These guys are ready!

    And battle commences.
You return inside to the more technical side of Potter with all the costumes, animations, models and drawings.

    Who doesn't love Dobby?

    The secret behind Hagrid.

    Such an innocent looking dog.

Lovely Buckbeak, he means no harm.

Why are people afraid of spiders? This one isn't scary at all.

And Dementors, they're not exactly big, more a nuisance.

    Wizard humour...

    I just don't get it!

Wizard ice creams on the other hand.

    Quite a nice street.

    Paper Hogsmeade.

    And the tree.
From here there is only two things left, the wand shop Ollivanders which was quite good, and the most spectacular bit of the whole tour.
THE MODEL OF HOGWARTS! Pictures just don't do this justice, it is amazing to think that this was built in only 40 days and used for any of the overview shots of Hogwarts.

Then the lights went and it looked even better!

The whole tour is amazing and whilst it is expensive it is definitely worth visiting once. It is a great hit with people worldwide and with good reason. I'm not a massive Potter fan but still found this tour and look behind the magic great fun and very interesting. I recommend it to everyone!
    Thanks for reading

Yesterday (16/06/13) was my annual trip to the wonderful place that is Alton Towers. The past few weeks I had been quite worried in hearing that Smiler had kept breaking down, stalling and so on. Luckily, we not only got one chance to smile, but we got two!
The park yesterday was fairly quiet with queues ranging from 10-40 minutes for the main coasters with Smiler being between 80 and 120 minutes all day. Everything was working except Oblivion and Enterprise. We had lovely weather all day, not too hot, not too cold, it was just right. It was a great day and I did quite a few new things for me (Nemesis front row, Sub Terra, and The Smiler).
    Ride Count:
    Nemesis: 3 (1 front 2 back)
    The Smiler: 2
Air, Duel, Rita, 13, Sonic, The Flume, Rapids, RMT, Sub Terra, Battle Galleons, Ice Age, Submission, Skyride: 1
Now time for some Smiler pictures and a few others.

Our day started off by seeing this lovely 3D Smiler advert in our hotel (I did want to take it home )

Sunny day at Towers, and the Monorail.

    Diving

    Corkscrewing

    Equalling Colossus' record.

    Now beating Colossus' record.

    Diving, again.

    No advocates...

    Advocates!

    Random Battle Galleons pic

Oblivion closed, but don't want it to feel left out.

    Lots of tangled track.

    So much track!

    Laughing gas, I mean mist.

    Half way corrected!

And I leave you with this sad picture of Harry the duck. All he wants is to become a yellow rubber duck but the staff at Towers can't fund his transformation. To help Harry, all you need to do is ride The Smiler instead of The Flume, then hopefully the staff will realise how important this transformation is for Harry. Thank you for your support.
    Thanks for reading

Today I went to Thorpe for the afternoon mainly to get my new pass for my trip to Towers on Sunday but also to explore what the park has to offer for kids as they try to shift their target market to include families.

New pass, check. Drinks capsule, check. And away we go!

Flying Fish is always a good start for your family adventure.

Storm Surge is always good for families, and well liked. Why I don't know but the customer is always right.

Look! Another family coaster and it seems popular today.

And of course there is the good old teacups, even with Tetley sponsorship for all you tea drinking adults.

Then you can continue spinning on the waves of Calypso (but not today as it was closed)

Mr Monkey welcomes you to his banana boat. Yep, not just a pirate ship, a banana boat!
There's also a Carousel behind me but forgot to get a picture of it, thought it might be to extreme for families.

Children can then go on a great fun log flume, but with a double drop!

Next up you can ride a wild train to some awesome music. Provides a great thrill for people of all ages.

Speaking of trains, hopefully these will once again go down allowing families to go on a bear hunt.

Now for the more thrill seeking youngsters Zodiac is a suitable option with only a 0.9 restriction!

And the wild ride that is Quantum which even makes my stomach churn.
Children between over 1.3 but not quite tall enough for the large coasters can also enjoy Rush and Detonator which both offer great thrills for their height restriction.

To end your family adventure you can take a slide down Depth Charge and relax on the beach which is brilliant in nice weather!
Overall, it isn't going to be impossible to shift the target market with lots of it going to be down to marketing as they have a handful of suitable family attractions. I'm sure in a couple of years with the proper hotel and a few years of investment in the park a change will have successfully occurred, and all for the best! As long as they don't lose sight and go too soft with their additions. I am very excited to see how this change turns out!
Note, my day did not consist of riding these rides

Before we start the fun, the boring stuff must be dealt with. Firstly, I don't own any of these photos, they are all from other people who attended. Secondly, this report is an account of my day so the photos are of me, therefore, if you don't like looking at my lovely face stop reading now
It was a sunny morning as a day of fun at Thorpe was to be had!

The day started with a lovely climb up Volcano Inferno.

But at the top I was shocked to hear that this may be better than Nemesis!

So we went again and after a lot of thought...

I decided it was good, but not that good.

With this dilemma out of the way, I started plotting something!

However, the mighty Merlin drinks capsule put a stop to my mischief.

Jack didn't like the news I delivered to him on Rush though...

That the influence of all the Chavs made me act cool

And gave me the power of magic!

Luckily, the rapids of Calypso Quay returned me to normality.

    Simple caption, don't ask.

I tried telling everyone that I would get an extra ride on X, they didn't believe me!

But an extra ride on X was had for me (and James) before the shadows amazed me!

But not wanting to disappoint the hard work Stealth had put in to be at the top of this photo, I looked at the camera.

And the day was over, but not before The Swarm tried to attack us
Fortunately, we all survived to live another day!
Thank you for reading, I know its late but finally had some spare time and needed to get it done before my next trip this Friday
