Anyone on park today?

I think there open it for bank holiday weekend! I'm sure we're hear a date by Wednesday next week. Then that gives geeks and the public a few days to book tickets and for the press to make some news about it

Does this mean no wet paint on people's clothing when it opens?!

If it's now 58 per train does that mean it could be less if there's a wheelchair onboard? I'm thinking 58 is the maximum per train. Then there could be a train that's 56 to allow the space for a wheel chair... All of this throughput talk has made me find this gif...

If the ride isn't ready then that's fine! I know I would rather wait for the ride to be finished in good time rather than being rushed. We've waited long enough for this a few more weeks isn't going to hurt...

I have a lot of time for Thorpe and I respect there decision to perfect the ride before they open it to us public. I think it's great they told us now and didn't just leave it till the day before the ride should have happened like towers did

7 hours ago the park posted this on there Instagram page... I know we've seen it already but there no mention of the ride opening late

Here we go.... my final update for the ride (unless it opens late) Lots of activity on site today! Sounded like there was lots of work going on inside the ride. Merlin studios van kept on visiting the site and saw sim works going in and out quite a few times. The fact the park have started to put these signs up around the park directing guests to the ride is surely a sign there still planning on opening on the 6th may?

Was just about to post to say it's closed today

One last visit to the park today before the ride opens. I'll post anything new throughout the day

they wouldn't of put up the derren browns ghost train this way sign if there weren't sure it was going to open on time... a bit like the sign on the entrance! it wouldn't still be up if they didn't think it was gonna open on time
