Not 100% sure but the prices will update automatically online if you go onto the ticket booking section
-
The discount is the fact that you are not paying for park entry. Absolutely ridiculous price, thorpe are such cheapskates and money suckers. Who is paying £40pp for one night in a SHIPPING CONTAINER. Get it sorted.
-
I'm sorry but who the hell waits more than 5minutes for tomb blaster let alone 70mins!?
-
Normal tickets increase in stages for fright nights. They are £25.99 for 3 more days and then raise to £29.99. After another period, they will raise to £34.99 before finally raising to £49.99, but that will only happen if you book online the day before going. Look here for more info: https://www.thorpepark.com/events-experiences/frightnights/ I also believe if you go during half term week it's more expensive, but not too sure about that either.
-
Hope they demolish it because in my opinion it's really ugly. When the full hotel is in place, they could put a nice little attraction of some sorts there to fill the area.
-
There's a 20% discount I believe, which really isn't worth it as it makes the hotel very expensive considering you don't get the park entry included aswell(you have already paid for that with your map). I'm not too sure about this though might be worth emailing or calling up. You can book here for room only on thorpe breaks, but unsure if this is classed as the way book without an annual pass:http://www.thorpebreaks.co.uk/?__utma=1.410422605.1410690574.1410690574.1410690574.1&__utmb=1.23.5.1410691297601&__utmc=1&__utmx=-&__utmz=1.1410690574.1.1.utmcsr=thorpepark.com|utmccn=(referral)|utmcmd=referral|utmcct=/short-breaks/&__utmv=1.|1=NA=NA=1^3=NA=NA=1^4=NA=NA=1^5=NA=NA=1&__utmk=261300493

What happened to the broad walk concept art we all saw? That would be a very nice touch with a helter Skelter, some carnival games and various other attractions. Would be a nice touch the the hotel meaning you could sit by the lake with a ice cream or something. As for a new flat ride, I hope we get one as a new flat ride=a bigger excuse to get rid of storm surge.

I would love one of these at thorpe, only if they had been implemented well though. Considering we have an amazingly themed one like talocan, thorpe would have to meet these standards to make it look any good Funfairs can achieve higher throughputs seeing as they are selling more tokens than spaces on the rides, look at the start and end of the video. Even before the ride has come to a complete stop people are sprinting straight on to get a car on the ride!

Sorry... I do as well. Layed on a bit aggressive there didn't I

Well if everyone has the right to express their own opinion, don't hate in me for expressing mine.
-
I went in all the mazes last year, at no point there was anything about getting taken away from your group in the conga mazes, saw and asylum. If it's going to happen, they need to make it a clear point. Well you ovbiously don't hate to be rude because you just were.. Everyone has their own opinion and that is mine, that's what the forums are here for, discussion. If you don't like my opinion, don't read this topic on the forum.
-
No but if I get taken away and my group don't notice, they are going to be panicking like hell(if they care about me) when they get out and in not there! Don't think it's fair to take people away and if it happened on a regular basis, I can imagine lots of complaints flying about. Certainly if I was taken away I would probably try and push and shove the actors away. Would then get kicked out the park and would be making a serious complaint that they took me away from their group. If they start to take people away, I am sure the actors will start getting a lot of physical abuse...
-
Don't like that idea at all, think its unfair to steal people from their groups and then have your friends worrying about you once they get out. If it's a conga line, let it stay as a conga line instead of taking people away to suffer. If you want to do the maze by yourself, then you can go to brave it alone. Unfair to separate people from their groups especially the people who are really scared about the maze.

Looked at the ride status today, think its disappointing how lots of rides aren't opening till 11 or 12 and some are only open for 3 or so hours during the day(along with skyway down). I know it's an 'off peak' day but is this really an excuse for limited ride openings like thorpe's excuse that a 40minute queue is not long enough for 2 train operation? Personally I think merlin needs to stop money sucking and work on good operations and customer satisfaction.

6-10pm only. Is meant to be emptier than standard fright nights however last year it was fairly busy(things got up to 60mind I believe). However, this year it's on a Thursday instead of a Friday so should be fairly empty especially compared to the half term week.

No I just meant rock rage went three times 'all the way over the top' I went on the last cheap night, was either the last Saturday or the Sunday. Something around the 9th November or along those lines. Was £2 at the start of cheap night when it was slightly emptier and rode it twice, however formed a nice long queue around and about the field(pull down had begun already and they had taken away the queue fencing!) in the evening so unsure of the price as didn't ride again. One thing I did notice about it was that it kept breaking when it reached the top and had to restart the cycle. One time it was stuck at the top for about 20seconds before coming back down! The people didn't even get to again like usual when it breaks down which must have been bad for them!

Well thorpe's website does say its on swarm island, so unless it's a typo of some sort, I think we are meant to presume that this is the case.

That's an awful experience, I definitely had to go through a tunnel however there must be an alternative route for people who aren't able to use it. Such a shame as when you get a good run, I heard its a great maze. There is a lot of running and there were various actors and obstacles in the way on my go however the tunnel is what shocked me most. Getting shoved in and the fact actors were dangling their hands down was actually very scary, although I didn't find it a great maze overall and much preferred asylum and saw, I felt the pace of the maze was good and hope it can only been improved this year.
-
Love how three people answered it at once

You simply scan your pass on the turnstiles at the entrance and walk straight in. Or if you are early and are claiming your early access, you stand in the line by the 'shark' hotel entrance, show your pass to the attendant and you will get in for your early ride time. Hope this helps

Everything was £1.50 except for vertigo and rockrage which were priced at £2. The price in rock rage was unjustified but they always seem to do it despite the signs I hear but vertigo was advertised as not part of the £1.50 night on the sign. £2 for one set of flips and 3 revolutions over the top was a decent price though considering it is usually priced around £3.50.
-
I think I got a poor run, despite it being my first maze and scary as it was my first experience, after doing saw alive, CITW and the asylum it just seemed so awful. Unsure as to why it has been rated higher than all the others, will hopefully be more consistent this year.

I actually visited one of these a few months back. Was billy davis waltzer, orbiter along with it's the roller, 2fast2furious Matterhorn and various other family attractions. Seeing as john davis has no personal events on at the moment I imagine his attractions would attend unless under maintenace. Will probably go either way as it's really good value for £7 of unlimited riding. Don't think rock rage will go, visited a funpark back in 2012 which was there but I think it sticks to the main funfair events now although it seems to be touring much less than it used to be. The seats weren't even spinning though to save money which kinda sucked so would much rather head to Milton Keynes cheap night and ride it for £2 with a proper cycle
-
Hi all, Taking an interest on billy davis funpark in Woolwich common which takes place from the 13th September to the 5th October. Does anyone know what rides are likely to attend this funpark? Would be really appreciated as considering going. Thanks, James

Id just like to agree with some people here. I visited in peak summer and the only ride which was on 2 trains which I experienced before 11am was stealth. However, I did not ride swarm so can't comment however both nemesis inferno and Colossus were doing a one train operation after the park had opened(9:30-10am). When the park knows that it's going to be busy, I think they should have extension lines opened and rides on full capacity as Colossus was displaying a 15minute queue but was going all the way down to the lost city flats as they hadn't opened the extension. They updated it about an hour later saying 90mins when in reality it was 90 ages before that. I know they do try hard and I'm not trying to put them down I think they just need to have quicker responses to things as queue boards are often wrong and a lot of the time queues are flowing outside of the queue line(extensions are not opened) as well as coasters not being on the capacity they should be on. PS: I also visited the week before when it was super busy and when we were in the nemesis inferno station at 10:15 they finally decided to add the second train adding a good 10/15mins to our wait. It should have been added at park opening as there was a decent sized queue starting to form behind us.
