    A few of us are heading down to Legoland this Saturday, Fish, Matt Creek and a few others, anyone's free to join us if they like

    If it is a weekender incorporating Paultons I will twin it that weekend with one of the London parks. Would like to do at least one park I don't do often. Depends how many people want to attend how many people could get there or give lifts as to what parks we'd pick. The possibilities are endless really then, weekend at Blackpool, weekend at Blackpool but do Alton on the Sunday, adventure island and Colchester zoo, west midland safari park is also near the midland parks, etc. plenty of time to stir up ideas anyway at the moment.

    That happened before the chessington meet I believe just thought it'd be fun to have a forum alias rather than just my name. If enough are interested we can discuss parks and dates. At the moment maybe paultons and Thorpe or Lego weekender as they're between me and paultons. But it's up for debate.

    ...fresh off the back of the TPM Alton Drayton weekender, and as I can't make MOS or Oakwood I was wondering if anyone fancied a weekender or day meetup anytime between late July and mid September. If anyone's interested could discuss parks and dates here.

    Definitely up for some unofficial weekenders if others are plus if they're not official takes pressure off peaj to chaperone. At the very least I think an Alton weekender for scarefest would be good.

    Was a great weekend. Think we definitely need to do more unofficial group weekenders the overall experience makes for a great weekend.

    Thoroughly enjoyed the weekend. Shame it's over now, but we should definitely do more weekenders away especially with a big group makes for an all round good weekend, Park Day 1, evening meal and drinks, then park Day 2. I'll look into if I can make Oakwood.

    Cannot wait for this. Also heard reports Alton was dead this past weekend due to what's happened maybe we'll not have many queues this weekend either. Not sure about Drayton as I've heard reports Flamingoland and other parks are suffering due to people doubting ride safety.

    Managed to pull Some strings and get it off a me and Stacey can come now. If there are two others who want to save with a family ticket for drayton let me know.

    10% chance I can make this if I pull some strings at work. If not then ironically I'm free weekends either side of these dates. Are you using same travelodge as last year? If so rooms are currently £68 a night at the one in Newcastle under Lyme.

    Loving the vlogs Matt, hopefully see some you've done this past week when you were at Disneyland Paris! I've had this uploaded for about a week and put it as private due to some parts having bad lag with audio in places. But I thought I'd make it public and place it on here for anyone to enjoy who went to the meet, absolutely loved the meet-up, cannot wait for Legoland!

    I assume some of will be continuing to do the park then meet up with those who have water park after for some golf?

    I'll probably be missing the swimming if any of you who aren't swimming want to join me on rides or on an enjoyable mini golf session.

    I wasn't actually aware of this until the last few days when numerous people have asked me if I'm going to Alton next weekend for the TPM thing. Shows how long it's been since I came on the forums. I'm tempted to go, should be a laugh, and with a good group won't seem that much worse than the recent Germany and Sweden trips I've done. Although £53 at this time for Travelodge in Newcastle, so tempted to go halves or something with people. Although if you're not in my neck of the woods or on the way to or from Alton I can't drive anyone home from Towers, etc. But can to and from the hotel obv if we're sharing etc.

    The long and short of this is, as it took Peaj a while to plan *not 100% his fault, he's a busy man, etc.* I thought he didn't want to do it and went ahead moving my annual September meetup (this is the 7th year) forward two weeks, and decided I'd use the perk for an AWW meetup. (Peaj then decided to announce this meetup two days later) Now AWW are doing BPB on the Saturday and Alton Towers on the Sunday (as it's on the way home) but for the perk, I'm willing to do a crossover with TPM but guys, you have to go on the events page for the AWW meetup to be kept in the loop on the perk at Scare Kingdom. I don't want anyone to miss out who wants to do the perk!

    Never seen Chessington that quiet, and the place we had the after meet meal at was rather nice inside. Also the banter at lunch, we need to get Ryan his own talk show where he constantly has Michael Broad and Matt Creek on as guests every week, give that man a series!

    This has been in the pipeline and planned to go ahead for about a month-2 months now with my mate at Scare Kingdom. Only problem is I've kept nagging Peaj to mention it, since Thorpe and think I mentioned it potentially back at Southend. Anyway, I thought he was putting it off and potentially not going to do it so I've announced it for my annual September meetup I hold every year. The meet page can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/events/231671700356263/?fref=ts As for the awesome perk, which really is awesome, it's £10 per head, 20 spaces and near Preston which is about 30 mins drive from Blackpool, and can stretch to 30 people if there's more interest.

    Awards, we love them, some may hate them, but we all strive to get them! Amongst other blogs I may post (and to get the award for posting a first blog entry ironically) I will be posting to say a big thank you to the award system, in the system we trust, and continue to strive to be the members the forum asks us to be.     I shall be attending Peaj, seems like we've come full circle, as the first time I met you was years ago at a Chessington meet with Theme Park Preview (not to be confused with Review) when we had the Dragon's Fury ERT. Can't wait for this meet
