  1. If you write a compaint to customer services they are likely to give you free fastrack, so if you visit again that ride will have been worth the queue :)

The thing is it was about 5 o clock and we had other rides to do as yet that day. Free fast track for another day is no good as I live in Suffolk and it's way too far away to just drop in whenever I want. Also, being only thirteen years old, I have to work it around school, and my parents schedule, as I can't drive. :(

  2. After watching that video it looks very bad...I mean it looks badly designed and as if even a young child would get bored on it. I thought it would finally be a coaster which some of the other seaside fairs have like Klondike at Hayling Island or the eurofighter at Adventure Island.

Despite what you may have seen in a video, the ride actually spins very fast. Unlike most spinning coasters, this coaster doesn't stop spinning. There is no lock on the cars to stop them spinning. They are held in place by operators on boarding/disembarking. I went last month. It's good fun

It's a real shame they let the south end of the park end up the way it did. Although, they are getting a huge casino down there
  3. This is mostly aimed at people that have worked at TP in Rides & Attractions. What are the best bits/worst bits about the job? Is it fun? Got any pictures? I'd like to see some pics of control panels. I know there's already a post for this, but most of the pics are unavailable.

    Thanks

  4. Moved the topic as I feel that control panels are mainly going to be from other parks. I have a load of pictures of panels taken from a series of websites over the years.TP_Banana.jpgMr Monkey's Banana RideTP_Carousel.jpgChief Rangers CarouselTP_Detonator.jpgDetonatorTP_Nemesis%20Inferno.jpgNemesis Inferno (my old baby :o )TP_Rumba%20Rapids.jpgRumba RapidsTP_Teacups.jpgStorm In A TeacupTP_Nemesis%20Inferno_TOUCHSCREEN.jpgCloseup on Nemesis TouchscreenI operated all these rides except Rumba so :o

Ian, can you possibly re-post these pics, as I cannot see them :(

    Thanks :)

  5. Love the music on this rid, but the volume needs to be pushed to the max. I don't know if they changed it since I went in April, but it could have been louder and the could have put the bass up a bit more

  6. I love the sound effects on detonator. It's not music as such but it's still really good. Really builds the tension. It was quite funny, though, when I went, I was in the queue, watching the ride, and it decided to drop when the countdown got to 3. Seeing everyone's puzzled faces was funny. :)
