  1. You have got to remember for Thorpe that even though MAP, TAP and Shark Hotel guests normally get in between 10 and 30 minutes before the park actually opens there are still engineer and ride operator checks with a manager or team leader have to sign the ride off. Only then the ride can open.

If an engineer hasn't handed the ride over to the rides department then the ride operators cannot do their checks and so on so ERT depends on whether the ride is ready and can open early. If not most rides are ready 5 minutes before the park opens.

  2. Good to hear it's back it's back open. Do you know if they've fixed the problem with swing B not reaching as high as well?

Not to sure to be honest suppose we soon find out if it has or not

  3. Ive noticed more and more recently over the past couple of years that Staines road queues all the way from Staines to the park, which obviously makes the situation in the car park a lot worse too.

I noticed that 2 from working there the last 4 years but Evan in the closed months around 4 till 6 that road is still very bad it's just unfortunate that they only have 2 ways to leave

  4. Who went last year and that day when the whole of staines way and Chertsy way was at grid lock because of an accident of the M25 people were blocked in that car park both all the customers who left end of the day as well as staff for a good 2/3 hours.

  5. It's not that bad it's like this in all places on busy days like people said there only 2 ways you can go on that roundabout and you going out same times as people from surry leaving work as well same as towers the amount of backlog down that road and after any event at wembley that road is massive problems no one can really control it it's just how it is

  6. Depending on time of year I'd imagine though. I was there 3 days and paid £110 including park tickets and breakfasts. You can get some real good deals going on to fill space.

I do agree as it depends on when you go but when You know when you want to go you should do some sums as some time off park is load cheaper but if you stay during a super value season then on site is cheaper

  7. If there's been new gravel I'd say they're slowly getting it ready and repaired.

Wouldn't put gravel down otherwise, you'd leave it be or tarmac etc.

I agree there showing signs they might be getting it ready maybe there getting it ready for 2015 as a new/old revamped family ride

  8. It was indeed ment to open for fright nights as a family ghost train the trains are In working convictions as the maintance team work really hard to get them working again as some motets were scied shut (sorry can not spell that word) but the could not get the funds for the repair of the track as most of the last engerneerning budget was being pump into slammer ready for its winter work

  9. Slammer can break down upside down, but equally I don't recall it ever breaking while I've been near it. And certainly not in a major way. I still don't trust it.

It can but it's a very very very rare like stealth being stuck at the top with guest and zod not coming down and just spinning they can happen but it's near impossible that they will

  10. It doesn't actually run different lengths, I think people just start to think that it does because it sometimes takes ages to get itself to height and by the time it does; it's finishing again.

That's correct it's on a pre set timer if it takes 6 small swings to start to swing then that's like half the time gone already at the moment last 2 days it's been swinging really good at the start meaning the cycle time will last into the hight it's meant to go as soon as we push start the timer starts we do not control how long it swings for
