  1. Indeed - that's why telling guests there'e more chance they'll burn to death in the event of a fire is not a good idea.
  2. It's probably because there's a reduced escape route/fire exit or something like that, meaning they cannot have as many people on the ride/in the building at any one time.
  3. It must have been a glitch - went back to 5 mins about 30 mins later. Even the website's failing :/
  4. You mean Falls? Come to think of it you could mean most of the rides there, unfortunately.
  5. Does anyone know what's up with TB? Been down for a few weeks now....has it finally died for good or are are they still attempting to fix with cellotape?
  6. I've just spotted this from the advert: "You can take a flight of fright on Vampire to soar through the trees of Transylvania, enjoy Dragon’s Fury’s spectacular spin underneath the stars, or incur the wrath of Rameses’ Revenge with Chessington’s favourite rides available to enjoy under the dark cloak of night." This sounds to me that not every ride will be available in the evenings at this year's event. I do hope I'm wrong!
  7. I like different but equally boring reasons. I'm at the edge of my seat - please tell.
  8. I remember on Wiki it mentioned about the Vamp's poor operations and that the queue had once reached 3 hours but I've just checked and that paragraph has been removed. So who knows? All I know is I certainly wouldn't queue for two hours! F*** that!
  9. Yes, but why the delay? The Smiler incident was on 2nd June. Are they reprograming the software that controls the ride's op or just retraining staff? Either way it's been quite a while.
  10. A similar story today, with six down: Bubbleworks, Dragon's Fury and Monkey Swinger "currently unavailable". Rattlesnake, Safari Skyway and Tomb Blaster "unavailable today".
  11. 11:14 - the proper strobes in the fruit juice fountain final!
  12. It's just unfortunate that the attractions that attract people the most are on their very last legs.
  13. I completely get what you're saying, but being ambitious will cost more money than playing it safe. And we all know how they love to do things 'on the cheap'.
  14. Indeed - the Jungle Bus thing was a joke - I think some believe it! I'd love to see either the return of [a fixed] Samurai or a new Magic Carpet. Both have been proven successes at the park in that very same spot.
  15. I've said it before and I'll say it again - they should bring back the Magic Carpet! It fitted perfectly in Mystic East and lasted 10 years. Who cares if you lost your sunglasses/wallet?
