My review of the fright nights 2018 mazes on opening day 1: PLATFORM 15: So I went into platform this year expecting nothing to change and I was Wrong,I like the storyline change with the wedding guests and the jealous conductor,the village scene has not changed apart from a few broken effects which I don't think will be fixed at some point during the event,the tunnel ending is weaker than last year however the actors in the tunnel are 100% the best bit about the tunnel. rating: 8/10 during the day & 9/10 at night 2: Blair Witch: Blair witch was my least anticipated maze of this years event,but I was shocked at how good the attraction was compared to what it was back in 2013-2016,the pre show scene is decent,the walk through the woods is quite good and the shed ending is really good,I've been dragged back 5 times in the shed,but to be honest it's better to do blair witch at night rating: 7/10 during the day & 8.5/10 at night 3: Dead Creek woods: this attraction I'll be honest I was A Bit confused on what was gonna happen,you enter through part of timber tug boat's exit and you got along the Zombie Hunt route,The pre show scene has had A Chain link fence added and the story changed,the rest of the route hasn't changed apart from a few par can lights here and there,the chainsaw ending is now in the old boyfriend scene from zombie hunt and the finale for this attraction is Weak in my opinion,but hopefully it'll improve over the course of the event 4: TWD LIVING NIGHTMARE: This maze was one of my highlights of 2017's event and A Personal highlight of the 2018 season with the extreme version in may half term and the maze being open for a few weeks in the summer and I was really excited for this maze and I came out underwhelmed,the pre show is good,the rest of the maze has not changed at all,the finale is the same as the summer opening version,the maze lacked actors this year,I spotted about 5-8 actors in the whole thing. rating: 6.5/10 5: Containment: this attraction was pretty good,the puzzles were quite difficult,the actors were really good,my group managed to pass 1/4 challenges,personally I feel like it shouldn't' be a extra charge attraction. rating: 8.5/10 6: terror at amity high,this experience was one of my least anticipated experiences of this years event and I found it quite weak with the actors not really doing much rating : 5/10 7: SAW ALIVE: This maze has not had many changes,the pre show has changed slightly,the scenes leading up to the ending remain the same and the ending is the weakest it has ever been,the actors were amazing,but I Personally think that 2018 is SAW ALIVE'S Final year. Rating: 7/10 8: TWD Do or die: This Attraction was 100% better than 2017's Sanctum,the bus scene was Really good,the scenes in the containers were pretty cool,the chainsaw scare was not the best as the actor my group had couldn't get it started so he chased us with a Butchers knife,the ending was intense with the container being rammed with smoke and the lighting in there being bright red. rating: 6.5/10 during the day,8/10 at night 9: BIG TOP SHOWTIME: This experience was pretty decent,it was good to hear the big top soundtrack again,it was nice to see some of the props from big top's time at the event,including the clown masks from the dressing room (2016 & 2017),the teddy bear (2017),I do like how the actors are roaming the park and doing the show in the dome. Rating: roaming actors 9/10 & live show 7/10 10: Vulcan Peak: Vulcan peak was officially the worst maze I've ever experienced,the pre show was decent,the I'm a celebrity building has not changed at all,the attraction does not have any live actors,it's just thorpe park staff,the ending is just walking into the inferno shop,the queue line audio/theming was decent rating: 4/10 I Didn't get to do scream plexx cinema due to technical issues this years event is 100% work in progress hoepfully by the time I next visit the event the mazes have improved

I'm shocked that they are opening blair witch & vulcan peak before press night/the event starting,but I do believe this is like a test run for the actors

The maze lineup for The Annual Pass event have been partially announced by thorpe Mazes that will be open are Saw alive TWD living nightmare Blair witch Platform 15 Vulcan peak plus one more to be announced what's everyone's opinions on the lineup so far?

I Agree the actors don't really add anything,however whenever I go through with my mates,we have a bit of fun by pretending to be scare actors,it's hillarious

I Don't think anyone in this has experienced the live version of the walking dead the ride pre show,but it's good,not much similar to the current pre show,but I also know the ride will be getting some changes for fright nights,which should be interesting,I already know what's been added but I won't spoil it,I was on the ride the other week and there were 3 actors and 2 of them just laid on the cafeteria tables and let the other actor do all the work,well this was on a 10am-10pm day so no surprise

I know saw alive has always been on boat I'm just saying that Blair witch will never return

So thorpe Park resort has Confirmed that Containment will return for fright nights 2018 I Still have No idea whether Containment will Still be a payed attraction but Knowing thorpe it will be a up charge attraction and for the rest of the lineup we are still unsure but we know Living Nightmare will be returning,I Personally Think that Living Nightmare Extreme will return for fright nights due to the Extreme signs are still on the restriction boards at the entrance and the queue line Extreme sign is inside the maze control room and I also think this will be Saw Alive's last Fright night due to too much costs to run and open due to the location of it being on a boat, I Also think Sanctum will return with new scenes and I'd Like to see a Scene inside a Shipping Container as I've heard rumors that Thorpe Park Has Received some shipping containers from Alton towers also 2018 will see the return of Platform 15 with a Reworked finale and Also the big top will return however there's a bit of speculation going on about The Big Top's return with speculation saying that the Big Top may have a relocation for 2018 with a rumor being that big top maybe relocated to inside the lake side marquee,personally I really don't think big top will be moved to the Lake View marquee due to it being a corporate space and the new maze I'm still unsure what the new maze will be but thorpe park are due to announce this on the 2nd September according to the the pop badge Calendar but I'm Sure it will be on the route of Blair witch with a potential entrance being where the Brown gate near Rumba Rapids which is opened during closed Season being the entrance and the queue line being located in that area and a possible exit at area Next to I'm a celebrity maze where Zombie Hunt's Exit currently is A lot of rumours are going around the new maze could potentially be the return of Blair Witch,Personally I Don't see Blair witch returning due to it being a IP From Lionsgate and the Contract ran out after fright nights 2016 hence why Cabin In The Woods was removed and was replaced with Living Nightmare and with those hands being repainted on the shed I Think it could relate to walkers so Possibly a new walking dead maze which would mean That The Whole Event would be a WALKING DEAD TAKEOVER but in the 2016 Blair Witch film you can see the same red painted hands on a wall inside the final house which could be related to why the red Hands were Repainted on the Blair Witch shed but this is all speculation!.

I Agree,I'll be surprised if studio 13 doesn't return,but if it does the location will defiantly be in a marquee of some sort,because I doubt thorpe would close I'm a celeb half way through summer just to build a maze that would be open for a few weeks,but the Studio 13 maze would Most Likely be in a marquee near I'm A Celeb or near the Blair witch route because they could have a outdoor section

The Only reason why I say Studio 13 is returning is because of what I've been told/hinted by staff at the park and evidence that I've found evidence: The previous fright nights poster wall from the finale corridor from Studio 13 is inside zombie hunt's director scene The Director was the Main Character/icon of fright nights 2013-2014 staff told us everything inside zombie hunt has Something to do with fright nights 2018 and Studio 13 is a Maze that was created by thorpe themselves and is not a IP From Lionsgate/AMC and it's been 2 years since we've had a Non IP Maze and the last one which was created by thorpe themselves is Platform 15 and finally I've just got a big feeling that Studio 13 is returning

I noticed last time I visited thorpe a few weeks ago,inferno was running 1 Train

Honestly I think the new maze this year will Most Likely be where the zombie Hunt exit is at the Moment and I've heard that a maze from the past is returning there's rumours of Blair witch returning which I think is not going to happen and in my opinion I think Studio 13 will return as it's not a IP Maze whereas Blair witch is A IP

ZOMBIE HUNT REVIEW AUGUST 2018 SINCE Zombie hunt opened in JULY 2018,I've had 15 Runs on it,and I can defiantly say that the Attraction has gotten better as the day goes on,considering zombie hunt has only been open for 13 days,it's defiantly Getting Better,please be aware that ZOMBIE HUNT FEATURES PAST AND PRESENT FRIGHT NIGHTS TEASERS/REFRENCES SPOILER ALERT!!: The pre show: it's a decent scene and sets up the storyline well scene 1: Zombie Granny: the granny scene is a reference to BLAIR WITCH (FRIGHT NIGHTS 2013-2016),I've almost been whacked with the walking stick Scene 2: toilet zombie: can I say recently I've had some extreme run throughs on this,considering I was the last person through of the day,I've had toilet roll thrown at me SCENE 3: THE DIRECTOR: this scene is a reference to studio 13 ,this is a scene which when zombie hunt first opened,it was a bit hit or miss,but recently just like the toilet scene,I've had some extreme run throughs,I've almost be whacked by the director,I've been corned by the director,I've been followed all the way through the attraction by Him/her Scene 4: the Boyfriend: this scene is a reference to MY BLOODY VALENTINE from fright nights 2013-2015,this scene has been a strong scene since opening,I've even been chased all the way through to the finale the actor in this scene Scene 5: the Conductor: this scene is a refrecne to PLATFORM 15 FROM FRIGHT NIGHTS 2016-PRESENT,and this scene is another hit or miss scene. Finale: this scene is a really good scene which keeps getting Better,it's not your average CHAINSAW FINALE,I've some extreme encounters in this scene I've been cornered by the chainsaw zombie and depending on the actor,this scene can be the best out of the whole thing I RECOMMENDTHAT YOU ALL GO AND TRY ZOMBIE HUNT!!

THIS IS WHAT I THINK THIS YEARS MAZE LINEUP AND LOCATIONS WILL BE MAZES RETURNING FOR 2018 TWD LIVING NIGHTMARE: NEW FINALE (SAME LOCATION AS 2017) THE BIG TOP: NEW SCENES (SAME LOCATION AS 2017) PLATFORM 15: NEW FINALE (SAME LOCATION AS 2017) TWD SANCTUM: NEW SCENES & FINALE (SAME LOCATION AS 2017) SAW ALIVE: NEW FINALE (SAME LOCATION AS 2017) MAZES NOT RETURNING FOR 2018: CONTAINMENT WE KNOW THERE'S GONNA BE A NEW MAZE FOR 2018 BUT THERE'S RUMORS OF BLAIR WITCH FROM FRIGHT NIGHTS 2013-2016 RETURNING FOR 2018 BUT I THINK IT WON'T HOWEVER I WOULD LIKE TO SEE STUDIO 13 FROM FRIGHT NIGHTS 2014 RETURN FOR 2018 AND I'D LIKE TO SEE IT BEING LOCATED IN THE LAKE VIEW MARQUEE WITH A MULTI ROUTE OPTION or if not MAYBE A MASHUP MAZE with scenes from previous mazes like the freezer,hellgate,experiment 10,the curse,SE7EN ETC

Here's my prediction of what I think will happen during the ZOMBIE HUNT ATTRACTION So we know that it's very likely going to use the Platform 15 route, safety briefing: so you'll start off With a briefing at the ticket office on the Old CCR Platform and here you'll be given your weapons and then you'll start down the Path CCR Platform-CCr Abandoned Train: along this path I reckon there will be A Few Actors Portraying staff members of Courageous Citizens Recruitment group and then you'll be told to watch out for the Zombies and then you'll arrive at the Train and Maybe the Flame effect will go off and the conductor zombie will be roaming this area alongside a few others CCR Abandoned train-Creek Village;; along Here I reckon there will be some Fake zombies on the rocks and some creepy audio with maybe 2-3 actors along the Path,And then You'll arrive at the house at the start of the creek Village scene ( Platform 15 2017 edition) Creek village Area: when you arrive at the house you'll be met by a Courageous Citizens Recruitment group staff member and you'll be told to shoot the zombies and make your escape,you then enter the House and I reckon there will be Zombie Manikins and Zombie sound effects and as you go through the Village scene behind the house they'll be Announcements saying the zombies are behind,keep moving and then you'll reach the Pitch Black tunnel (Platform 15 2016/2017 edition) Finale inside the tunnel: I predict that you'll be met by a Courageous Citizens Recruitment group staff member and you'll be told to escape through the abandoned tunnel,you'll walk inside the tunnel and it will have lights inside (the zombie hunt is recommended for Ages 8+) and there will be Zombie sound effects,Some fog Effects and then the Zombie Hunt ends with a Announcement saying the Zombies have been defeated please exit quickly and then there will be some train noises/Explosions sound effects/fog effects and you exit the tunnel after you exit the tunnel you hand in your weapons)

The Walking Dead the Ride Review June 2018: Pre show: the Pre Show Has not had Any more changes since the Minor Changes made in May,However From what I've seen and experience people are starting to get creeped out by it alot more since the changes made in May Indoor Queue Line: This Part of the Experience is Starting to Get Annoying because when the Lights go out everyone can not see where they're going and if you're in the middle/back of the group you nearly Trip up on other Members of the Group and Fall over your own feet,I would like to see a Little bit more lighting So That trips and falls are prevented Ride Layout: NO CHANGES WHAT SO EVER,The ride is Starting to Lack in Scariness and now I Just go on it to experience air time on the Back row Scare Scene: This Scene Is Not even Scary at all,it's creepy but it's just Getting a bit boring now Exit Queue Line: No Changes have been made since May and it's Starting to be Just Boring now,hopefully They'll put something in there at Fright nights to Make it Scary. Scare Rating: Pre Show Scare Rating: 6/10 Indoor queue Line Scare Rating: 4/10 Ride Layout Scare Rating: 4/10 Scare Scene Scare Rating: 5/10 Total rating 21/40

My Derren Brown's Ghost Train rise of the Demon review June 2018 Queue Line: Both Photo points are in operation,However on some Occasions the Infection checkpoint has Been Closed some of these occasions include weekends and school days,I've noticed that the queue moves alot slower when both photo points are open,I think thorpe needs to Open the Food & drink stall in the queue near to the Infection Checkpoint Photo Point,as during hot days I've noticed quite alot of people leave the queue because of the Heat. Batching: Still not Amazing Pre Show: I've noticed that people are actually getting bored and not interested in the pre show, and When I visited on a Very hot day recently the fans in there were not on and alot of the group I was in was say that Sweating like mad and the staff did Nothing,this might be because the Pre show sound can not be heard when the Fans on,maybe for 2019 they Might Update the pre show Because it is In My Opinion a Bit long and it's starting to getting boring Pre Carriage Boarding: The News Report Audio has been turned up Slightly but I think that it should Maybe Played on a TV Screen because in a way it's Linked to the Story,maybe they will add this in 2019. Vr Part 1: Still Okay,I think it sets the story up good,However it is Starting to get a bit boring. Tunnel Scene: AT First I was not a fan of this scene,but was getting better ish, but now it's boring again maybe they'll put some actors in there at Fright Nights or next year Refurbish the Scene,because that scene was what made the attraction scary!! Vr Part 2: still brilliant although on a recent visit the Staff didn't do anything to amp up the scares they just sat down and let the Jump scares from the VR do the Work at one point,one of them were doing fornite Dances. Shop Ending: The Ending is still good however since my Last Visit The Audio has Been Turned up (it's really loud),the Demon Looks Alot scarier and I Would like a New Scene Added After this in 2019, Maybe a Scene Featuring the infected or those who were attacked by the Demon who scares/screams at the guests as they exit into the real shop through some Double Doors or Black Flaps Rating Vr Part 1 Scare Rating: 5/10 Tunnel Scene Scare Rating: 5/10 Vr Part 2 scare Rating: 6/10 Shop ending scare Rating: 7/10 overall scare rating 17/40
