Tom
Not sure if anyone has been, but the gold coast in australia has a few parks.Tried creating a new topic in Industry Spotlight specifically for this, but Australia needs a topic too. http://www.rcdb.com/1137.htm?p=0New trains on an old Arrow coaster, 'Vampire' I screamed in my mind. They're weird, but according to youtube comments they make the ride much smoother! Before: (Corkscrew)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rhn64UlAAF8After: (Sea Viper)
Deleted Users
Well the outside of the new restraints have the annoying material blocking you from extending your arm.Superman:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=siKw60INs0Y&playnext=1&list=PL50132D6A94A31423Tower of Terror 2:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fp9wBQK3c54&feature=mfu_in_order&list=ULToo bad that even with the upgrades ToT2 is going no where near as high as Superman: Escape From Krypton at Magic Mountain
Tom
Superman. <3 Too bad that video doesn't have the sexy tunnel mist I've encountered! It's nice to see a pre-launch section being so long and well themed! ;)Tower of Terror II, oh how you fail. That tunnel looks really cool though! From what I remember it used to just shoot straight out of the station?Scooby-Doo: (L)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwLtwrUL7PIReally cool ride! The ghost-train section is actually really fun and a bit scary with the lights off. The main wild-mouse section is really cool with the lights off and loads of lasers and scooby-doo music playing loudly.
Luke_A
That Superman coaster looks awesome, nice to see an Intamin Launcher with such an amazing Pre-Launch section! ;)And Scooby-Doo, again good to see a nice Pre-Elevator section- notice a trend here , a ghost train&A wild mouse, This must make for a great coaster. Here's a video of the new style of "Jet Ski Coaster" from Intamin, Launched using Tyres. This one is at SeaWorld Australia. Looks quite fun to be honest.

Luke_A
On the note of Giant Drop, Here is a video of it. It is just under 400ft High (390ft). Almost 4 times the height of Detonator. OMG.
Deleted Users
Sommat tells me I need to visit my family in New Zealand via Aussie sooner rather than later...The journey to Australia can be pretty tiring to say the least... Melbourne was absolutely stunning though and I got a tour of outback from a friend's relative. The jeep was surrounded by kangaroos at one point! The original ToT had a much shorter tunnel. The light effects were redone during the upgrade. I think they were pretty basic before, if they even had them. Tom
