Depth Charge is the most reliable. Lets all go there.
  4. Happy Birthday Mate. 14 is still fun. And you get child rail prices.

I'm kinda guessing that by his name. We all have our passions.
  6. Haha. Lets just hope that project link runs on AA batteries then
  7. Dickens World Opened today apparently. I dont think this is worth its own topic but its got a boat ride, haunted house and a victorian school... sounds like a fun day out.
  8. yeh but how many people actually listen to announcments. Its all about getting all the staff to round people up and be authoritive - worked so far. I guess it will help when its working, but I dont think it was worth it yet or - like I said - intergrated very well.
  9. ^ What took up most of the money really. I would have supported it - I support the theory - but I don't think the park needs to spend the money on it yet and the speakers stick out and there are all these wires in coloured tubes running along the paths - not hidden at all... well when I last looked anyway.

Silence Room! Roll down sleeves! Your school would hate me =]Rolled up sleeves, untucked shirt, tucked in tie, open top button, no jumper, jewllery, headphones trainers... twatty smile. Most of the teachers at my school don't bother with me anymore. Although somtimes theres a chase down the corridoor.Just say your sleeves make you feel clostrophobic.
  11. Is project link running yet?

Neither for me - the only sport I am mildly intrested in is Tennis; Wimbledon. Only because I get a day out, great atmosphere (no hooliganism and fighting) and its with my dad which like NEVER happens. I only do personal fitness - Jogging, Gym, Running, Pressssss ups etc. Most other sports though - blergh. Especially watching them. Rather stick my hand in a blender. Not my thing.

List of all the rides, each one starts out with 5 points. eg... You copy the list over and minus one point for one ride you dont like and add a point to a ride you do like. Then write at the bottom which one you added and which one you subtracted. eg... Then you just have to wait 5 post before you can post again; prevents shpam. Once a ride reaches 0 it gets 'eliminated' from the list and all the rides are reset to 5 - and it begins all over again and again and again until there are like 2 left and then it gets nasty; like duels at dawn and crap *slaps marc with white glove*Hope that helps.
  16. Thats horrific. I dread to think what those people are going through, psychologically as well as physically. Talk about sphere of fear.I think the worst thing is, when the ride finally stops those people are just sitting there. Thank God nobody was killed, but I dunno whats worse, burns injury or death.Just goes to show, somthing so fun could turn out to be so menacing and evil. The ride just looks evil in that video.

The phrase, what comes around goes around seems all of a sudden really appropriate.

I swear thats an apreviation. An acronym is... what james said. I've just realised how late I was at replying. =[
  19. Big news on the Phantasialand Scene. Phantasialand has submitted plans (unknown date) for a huge expansion into a full resort experience. I always wondered how the park intended to expand in the future, but I never expected it on this scale. My german is very kranky so I can't say whats what, but from these plans it looks like we could see a huge sporting facility, new hotel...now those plans by themselves are pretty wacky and even I couldn't understand it. However if you relate it to this...you can see how much the park are planning to expand. Its phenominal - inital finish deadline is 2015, I wonder how locals respond to this. On the plans you can see 2006 black mamba attraction and also future attractions which will be built, roumers say it maybe be a indoor ride with african safari theme. See screamscape for more on this and other phantasialand news.Back to the present - can I just say - TALOCAN PEOPLE! Possible one of the best themed huss topspin ever to be built, oh and get this - its not just any topspin its a floorless topspin.Eye Candy - Click British flag in top corner for britishness.and now for the good stuff - I was searching the net and I found this site full of recent test runs of the ride with most of the effects working. I am tingling from head to toe - whether topspins float your boat or not, the visual effects will definatly rock the boat. I'm impressed so much, I'm tempted to even book a trip for august. somehow. Enjoy...

Whether people see the back of Nemesis Inferno or not is irrelevant - it should still be finished. The one person who sees the big nasteness of tin has had the whole theme destroyed for them. But its not just the back, we still have some big fat off red tin box shoved oh so lovingly left, right and center on us that its hard to imagine Nemesis inferno anything more than a generic B&M coaster with a quater of a fibre glass volcano and some nice trees. Which is ashame, but its got so much it could offer.Cliche coming. Sorry folks - but Phantsialand. Take mystery castle - its themed right the way around, inside and out, from top to bottom consistantly and with passion, talent and care. This means that you can look at it from a mile away, in the carpark, up from the hotel, on the river quest and from the ground and your still shaking in your boots. As for what I would do at Thorpe Park in 10 years, well I'm not gunna type it all out. Theres so much and I don't wanna crash the new site already.
