YES YES YES YES YES!!!!!Finally some official news! New Kelly Clarkson single added to radio on January 19th. Means we'll hear Life Would Suck Without You within a couple of weeks. Can't wait.Album coming out on March 17th.And I love how strong her accent is on this video from her official website. But yes I just needed to get that out of my system. Had a bad week and that just made it all better for me.
  3. Guys, we're all sitting here posting on a theme park related forum; do you not think we all need to get out more?

LOL! I'm going to just be quiet in a corner somewhere before I start getting a complex about it! HAHA.

I really don't get all "the game" business. I even read about it in the Metro, and I'm just soo clueless. Does that mean I'm still winning if I don't know what the game is? HA!
  6. Don't get me wrong. I do think everyone is doing a great job on this project, and I'm so looking forward to experiencing it for myself. But I do agree that the magic has been lost a little. Yes fair enough they may be on holiday/ Christmas leave or whatever, but it's kind of their fault for hyping up the whole 13 business in the first place. They made a point for pointing out the number thirteen in the early videos, they've even posted all of the dates for future videos on Saw's site, so to not release it when it's supposed to kind of undo's some of the hard work the team have put in to hype up the attraction. And yes, I agree it's a tiny little thing- it's a flaming video, and no, the final result won't be affected, but it's the principal of the situation.
  7. Let's be honest with ourselves though, the only reason we're seeing all this money being spent on scenery for Saw is because there's a film company involved.I think a dark ride would do well in Neptune's Kingdom. Well, not in it's current form, maybe in the future it could become slightly edgier? More along the lines of the Lost Continent at IOA- except obviously not as extravagent.
  8. Lol! ^ Me too! Sorry I didn't turn up today guys, I found out in the early hours of this morning that there were no trains from my station and I wasn't that motivated to travel by public transport on a Sunday haha.Hope you all had fun though =]
  9. Sorry for late notice, but I'm going to this. Se y'all tomorrow!
  10. I think people kind of read too much into things sometimes. Personally I agree on the fact that the whole Saw theme doesn't really get me going; what does get me going is that this project has the potential to be a solid, immersive experience. I don't think it's going to be ground- breaking in terms of special effects or actually even totally immersive, but I do think it's a step in the right direction with regards to projects in this country. It's evident that these kind of experiences are gaining more interest- this is why we have experiements and research such as the Thrill Laboratory. Findings from these all suggest that Merlin are seriously looking into this type of attraction- a total experience that evokes a proper psychological reaction combined with a physical, not just one or the other. It'd be great if parks in our country can pull off something of the same calibre. Of course we only have to look at some of the rides in the states to show how successful these type of attractions are: the Revenge of the Mummy at Universal Studios Florida is fantastic!

  12. Mark you're not being a very good role model are you?! Being an admin and all... promoting spam. Tut tut. :mellow:Not trying to undermine anyone's authority here but please guys try and keep it off the forum, it makes for an uneasy atmosphere. Members that may have turned up for this might give it a second thought after reading that.

Yeah the Helix is one of the parts of the ride that gets put through the most stress. Most closed seasons coasters have to be tested for cracks and hair-line fractures.

Joking.Vomit in your ear or a fart in your eye?
  17. Guys I'd go but it really does depend on what we do. Never trust Seb to organise anything because it won't happen Love you really Seb :DThe only thing with doing Merlin attractions is that I don't have any tickets left on my pass =[ Would love to say hi to all you new peeps though! =]

I'm not a bastard I'm begining to wonder whether sexuailty exists at all. It's just another way in which people can pidgeon hole others. I mean, I know I like guys, but I think I just either click with someone or not. There's either chemistry there or not, ect.Although on a completely materialistic point of view, girls really don't make me tick
  20. I just realized area 3 have all the water rides except Bubbleworks! How amazing!?

Kelly's Sober is sooooo much better
  22. I think the biggest queue I've been in has to be Oblivion in 1998. I was queueing from just inside the entrance which took about two hours. That means alot of people considering Oblivions epic throughput.Although I think one of the longest queues that I've witnessed has to be Colossus last year. Went with my ex boyfriend and his family. Colossus was on one train, and it was at the entrance. That was a nice 3 and a half hour queue for them- me and Jay went and did other things

Getting hair cut tomorrow woooo! Got sick of the long hair so it's getting chopped off.
  24. Guys at one point pretty much all rides had SRQs. Then it became a H+S issue because there were too many people at the ride exit. Remember you've got exit passes, disabled guests and on some rides fastrack was included at the exit. Inferno was awful for it.... you know how narrow that exit is, and it probably came up as some health and safety issue that it blocked exit routes or whatever.
