  1. Hi all,Well guys, Nemesis Inferno now has a very special place in my heart. It's because it was my first major coaster that I've been on, as of 25th may 2010. Before, the only coaster at thorpe that I've ever ridden is X No Way Out. But, Nemesis Inferno was just so awsome though. It took so much persuasion before I went on. In fact, someone in the queue line apparently commented that just because I was blind I shouldn't ride it. Well, I'm proud to say that I've proven them wrong! I absalutely loved it, and next time, I'm going to do the unholy trinity, along with saw. I couldn't do those this time as we ran out of time, we had to be back on the buss really early, too early in my opinion, but, the point of this post is a point I've already made, and that is just simply that Nemesis Inferno is awsome, I love the way it swoops around the track. I didn't know when it went upside down, but next time I'll see if I can notice the motion a bit more. I'm wondering, is there a drop at the beginning? because it felt like it, yet on wikipedia it just says the train takes a sharp right turn and doesn't mention a drop.
  2. Hi,I have some bad news. I checked the thread and because the list is a picture, the screen reader can not read it. I forgot to mention that I was blind, and can only read text and links.
  3. Hi,Yep, I was going toa sk the same question about where to find songs. I know they used to be on tpm. Will they ever be re-uploaded?
  4. It's not offten you hear from me, as I don't get to go to thorpe very offten. Well yesterday (25th may 2010) was very special for me. THis post will be sort of long.First thing's first for those who don't know, I'm blind. So no pictures will be uploaded. I may edit this with some audio later on though. So, arrived at the park feeling very nervous. Usually, when I go, I end up bottling out on all the rides -- that is, not going on them. But today I wanted to change that, even if that meant even just riding one of the major (shoulder restraint) coasters -- the only coaster I've done at thorpe before is XNWO.First thing's first we ended up exploring the park, I think there were a few new audio effects -- I've never noticed Inferno having bird sounds before. when we went near Colossus we heard an abnormal rumble that I've never heard before, not from the track by the sounds of it. Only happened a couple of times. So after finding some people from our college group the guys went on Colossus while me and a friend waited. I suddenly felt less nervous than I had been feeling before that time. I think it was just because I was there and beginning to get excited. After that, next on the cards was Inferno. A sudden rush of nerves came over me. I said to the main person I was with though, "no matter what happens, you have to try and get me on a coaster today." So we entered Inferno's main queue line, as if the wrist bands are used I wouldn't be with the other students and we thought it'd be best to experience what everyone else is experiencing. In the queue the nerves really built up. At some points I ended up attempting to push my carer backward but luckily he was strong and just lead me on forward. Near the end of the queue I got so scared I quite literally doubled over for about 5 seconds unable to move. The music was blaring out which was actually really good to hear. Next thing you know, the seat was right there. Realising where I was, instead of waiting by the seat I sat right in. THe last time this happened at chessington I ended up feeling the harnis, seat and such, and that scared me and I ended up climbing out of the seat, this was before it came down. But this time, for thorpe park's Nemesis Inferno, I didn't get the chance. THe harnis got pulled over me and then I ended up feeling around, the seat, the harnis that was now over me, my two friends beside me, realising that I was very safe indeed. Suddenly realising my head wasn't back, I quickly found the headrest, put my head back. The train pulled from the station and I just felt like I have really conkured something. I was about to experience what a major coaster is like. Speeding forwards, and into the first part of the ride, my stomach went as a drop occurred. I felt the first right turn. Trying to see if I could figure out what was happening by trying to remember the description of the track layout proved to be impossible as I seemed to feel an upward motion -- before the lift hill. Going down what seemed to be another drop and finally ending up at the lift hill, I was thinking to myself this really is not that bad at all. The rest of the ride was an awsome blur. Afterwoods, I couldn't do anything, I couldn't eat, but I felt so happy, I was almost in tears, I was thanking the attendents for making such a great ride. But one question, where was the loop? I didn't feel myself go upside down which I really thought that would stand out. I did not go on anything else for another hour or so.After the rest of the group ate, we went over to stealth and I was still in shock from Inferno that I could not bring myself to ride it. We next went over to the saw area. This was my favourite area of the park, even when not going on anything there, I still enjoyed just exploring that part and it was what I had been looking forward to doing all day. While the others went on saw alive, me and a friend went by all the speakers, the police car, and such. Since I was getting hungry at that time, I decided not to ride Saw the Ride, so while the others went on, me and my friend ate some lunch and went over to the rumber rapids. What a lot of fun, I've done it before but doing this again just reminded me of how fun it is. Then, we headed over to x no way out but we couldn't ride it because time was up, and right when I was in the mood for another thrill rie, albeit one I've experienced before. The rest of the day was quite disappointing and involved me wishing I had more time there. I say next time, bring on the unholy trinity. The guys didn't even get to ride Saw because the wait time went up to 90 minutes.Positives:My first experience of a propper coaster.New audio effects.experienced the saw area, very impressed.Negatives:Not enough time. Next time I will end up, hopefully, riding all the coasters, including saw.Didn't seem to feel myself go upside down on Inferno. Next time I'll see if I can notice it, as this time I was just blown away.I really want to go again now. Bring on the unholy trinity, just bring it on. I'm finally ready after all these years. It's been too long.

    Alton Audio

Hi,Does anyone have any mutiny bay audio? the one on towers times was really short.
  6. You'd probably need a licence to play music, though I'm not too sure. Hey, does anyone remember x no way out's 2006 on ride audio? the loading music was really cool, and has never been released. It was just a quire, but it was so atmospheric. Then it went backwards and then that remain seated thing played, (I have that as a small clip that I found on another website which is now down), but then ther was other audio, like extra music and sounds, taht I don't have. I'd love the loading music though. It's different to the 2007 interior theme, but it is in the same key (key of c), I think.
  7. Thanks for the stealth sounds! Those are cool.Does rush have any music on it, or is the latest the q from 2006?
  8. Hi,Thanks for the neptune's kingdom themes, I'll check those out. Also, I'm sorry about the capslock, it wasn't until after the post that I realised I had it turned on. I think ti happens when I play games, I might press the wrong key and so the key I press by mistake is capslock. Anyway, I wonder how thorpe made the saw music? A keyboard? an orchestra? It's interesting that they composed it themselves, I mean some stuff from thorpe is from films and things. Also, in the saw plasa recording that I have, the drumbeat's sort of weird, I can hear the base drum but the snair drum is more like a weird, dripping synth sound effect. If anyone has more information on how such a sound can be made I'd be interested to know. I hope I'm not going too off topic. Thanks in advance.
  9. hI,I DON'T KNOW WHO UPLOADEDX IT, BUT THANKS FOR THE SAW PLASA AREA THEME EXCERPT. IT'S QUITE GOOD, NOW I REALLY WANA RIDE THIS THING! aLSO, I HOPE THERE'LL BE MORE SAW AUDIO INCLUDING THE FULL PLASA THEME AND THE Q LINE AND SUCH.I HAVE ANOTHER QUESTION. dOES ANYONE HAVE THE STEALTH STATION EFFECTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS? I REMEMBER THEM BEING ON A WEBSITE ONCE, BUT THEY WERE NEVER ON TPM.aLSO, I CAN'T ACCESS TUSSAUDSMEDIA.CO.UK, I COMES UP WITH A LOG IN DIALOG, EVEN WHEN I GO TO TUSSAUDSMEDIA.CO.UK/NEW, SO DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON THERE?THANKS IN ADVANCE.
  10. Yes, but there still isn't x interior 2006, andI hope that there'll be saw audio, that ride audio is just incredible! I really want to ride saw. I heard a full ride video on youtube and I definitely think that the audio effects are just incredible. the q line has some interesting effects (there isn't that many videos of the q), (there is a poiler ahead, or at least, an opinion on what I've heard) spoiler start: it's as if the police are looking for jigsaw or something. spoiler end
  11. Hi,I already have these x no way out tracks, but thanks anyway, it's still a good website. The tab system was weird to use I had to press the spacebar on each ride it just had a list of rides then opened it up, pretty interesting. Also, on mthorpe park mania's audio section I saw a file called Colossus theme beatbed. what is this file? It's a cool file but I've never heard it in the park.
  12. Hi Everyone,Some of you might remember me, otehrs won't. So I'll do a quick intro then will put this back on topic.I'm aaron and I'm totally blind and use a screen reader to access the internet and the rest of my computer, and mania hub is no exception. I am impressed with the layout of mania hub, it's accessible with screen readers. It seems to be the easiest to use in terms of find audio, I like the way that the music streams when you click a track. My favourite thorpe park theme is Colossus, which I have not ridden (the only "big" ride I have ridden there is x no way out which isn't really that big, but it's fast), but I hope to go to thorpe park soon and ride saw, but I'll ahve to build up, so basically it means doing the coasters in one day, and it's getting enough courage to go on them. I actually felt the seat of Colossus but then chickened out. There's audio that I've een looking for for a while, and it seems to be very hard to find, it is the x no way ou 2006 music, not the q line, the interior theme and the ride music and sounds. Also, I would really like to get some saw the ride audio, the videos on youtube sound amazing and I think it's a must have.If anyone can get any of this stuff, please pst a link. Thanks in advance.

    hello... welcome to TPM! :D

  14. Hi everyone,I am a new member on this forum. Since I have not been following this topic properly this post might well... change it a little. This post will be quite long. However it will still be based on the music in the park.I really like the thorpe park music. I went to fright nights the other day and all the music sounded familiar from the mp3 files I've gathered in this year. I was humming along to the Colossus theme. I got so close to riding it but I chickened out. I am totally blind, and have not been on a ride with sholder restraints. I managed to feel the seat -- that's how close I was... but. oh well. Then I noticed the nemesis inferno theme, and I also noticed that tidle wave had wwtp radio, which was really cool! And then, at 4:00 pm everything changed. the change was astonishing, they really mean fright nights when they say it. amity cove had loads of sound effects, and all the music changed. We were near the asylum when it happened, my friend said there was some sort of opening sound effect that played, but we never heard it. It was because I went on saturday and if anyone was there then, there was a technical difficulty... with, of all things, the asylum! But the music really is good for that maze. We went to 7, which for some reason has no music. That was quite scary. Hellgate didn't really have music it's just sounds, but oh my god I was freaked out and had a delayed reaction when I came out. I enjoyed myself in there but when I came out I could not speak. I was trying to speak, but all that came out was a duck-sounding noise (according to my dad). and then I started crying, but I look back now and think that it was really fun. I think that the teacups ride is better on fright nights simply because of the music. That's my view so far. Once again, sorry for the quite long post.regards, aaron
