Yeesh! Scary photos! :PWell I had a really fun weekend! Obv disappointed I didn't get on SAW but the comp tickets were great! The little things like going on Carousel and Tidal were part of what made it so fun.Though SAW and Colossus clearing their queuelines at the same time, followed by:CCR being closedCash point being brokenAmity hot dogs being closed.KFC having a sign up behind the counter stating hot drinks were unavailablewas just funny :)All the pics are on Facebook as usual, but here are a few...I know...LOL!They all look happy.Somewhat cold and wet after Tidal!

Ewan is indeed awesome!I like the spikey haired guy who operates Zodiac
-
A SouthParks member has confirmed it was open today :)YAAAY!*ahem*
-
Yep it has been on a good cycle all weekend ;)The shortest it can be is 7 swings, I believe. Meaning the 7th swing is the final full height one before the the cycle starts coming to an end. Don't know what the most is it can do/is allowed but this weekend it's been doing 9. Judging by the ride length and the video I got from the queue

I don't think people should say when SAW is going to open unless they actually know 100%, which I doubt they do because even the staff didn't yesterday, I heard loads of different things and the only one that came true was that it was highly unlikely it would open. Although, TPDan is right, it did nearly open at one point. Me and some others were waiting for nearly 4 hours and saw quite a few things that suggested they had the intention of opening. And yes, I know, 4 hours is crazy...but some of us hadn't been on yet and we didn't mind waiting, was quite fun actually! I don't know where this two week thing has come from, the major issue has been sorted so it could be back open today for all we know. Sorry but it's annoying reading through this and seeing people bickering about when it's going to open again.Oh and btw staff rode it last night, saw it from the car park. They were weight testing before anyone starts complaining!!Not that it all went to plan

I haven't slept all night. And no not because I've been excited (although I am), but for other reasons which I don't really wanna discuss here lol.Rockstar energy drink all day! :DI'll be getting an earlier train so I probably won't see you guys who are getting the 8:28 til we're at Thorpe. Also means I miss out on "This is Twickenhaaaaaaam!" hehe. But I need a hug right now and Rob is on the earlier train to work :DI feel sick right now, probably because I'm normally in a deep sleep at this time! Marc, wanna sit next to me on Nemesis Inferno like last time?
-
I'm not just excited about SAW, but also going on Samurai and Rush again woo! And Tidal Wave Shame about Stealth though...but hey! We have loud, rattly, vibrating Colossus! And horsey Quantum!!
-
I just got the e-mail wooo! :DYeah I knew the orange kiosk was advanced tickets and I remember the final booking page mentioning it, but I couldn't remember everything it said. But makes sense now, if I was to collect them there, go to advanced tickets collection hehe. But it also mentioned the ticket machines they have now.Oh well, now I've got the email I just print it off and they will scan it! I thought they would be normal-sized tickets but it's a whole A4 page, made me laugh
-
Woo defiinitely attending! :DThing is, with all the online booking issues Thorpe are having, I haven't got my confirmation e-mail yet (can't afford to buy a new AP yet so booked online ticket). I booked last night on my laptop when my mum was asleep, printer is in her room...so couldn't print the page from Rialto or whatever it's called! I took the reference number though...I thought they were only having issues with the AP event tickets and not generally which is why I selected print at home, but seeing as I haven't had an email yet I'm thinking the whole system is messed up. But then if I'd selected the other option I still would've had to pay £1.50 soo meh.I'm confused about where I go on the day, I really should know but I don't!
-
I'm up for doing Tidal Wave (if I go) on Saturday! Hehe...if I can Tidal Wave Green at Adventure Island in December then I can Tidal in March! Shame Rob isn't reassessed on it, we could all have hugged him when we got off
-
Twynersh!! :DThorpe staff's local

Well the Sun's article is even worse!http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showb...icle2315864.eceSilly cow "I spent millions on my big FAKE tits and I don't want to ruin them by having fun on a rollercoaster!"Sorry but that's just pathetic! The joke's on her, with big things like that bulging out of her chest she wouldn't have been able to fit on the rides anyway, should she take the risk
-
Heh ok.It all depends on money as to whether or not I can go. *fingers crossed*
-
That's mean! But funny hehe.Ooh and if I go (still not deicded yet lol) I'LL be getting a train as well! From "Clapham Junctioooooooooon!" to "Staaaaaaaaaaaaaaaines!" SWT man kicks ass B)Marc can give me a lift to the park from there
-
When you guys were debating if they went on the ride or not, I'm assuming you're talking about the lunchtime report (as in the evening one we clearly see people on the ride), where three girls (look liked chavvy girls as well grr!) appear to come off the ride, yet they don't seem thrilled at all? I thought that straight away, fair enough if they're not allowed to give away too much but they had no enthusiasm or anything! Just "Yeahbestrideeveaaar."There is an event on tonight...dam shouldn't have said that, cos that reveals that even more people have been on before the Ride It First winners

Hehe great photos!I have loads but can't scan them right now, but I'll link to some I already have online...Me, Rob, Gary and Marc on Logger's Leap at Fright Nights 08Grr my hood looks crappy, stupid coat! Marc looks funny Me and Rob on Oblivion in 07I prefer the top pic!An old Vampire picture! I was 9, sitting next to my next door neighbour, with her son behind...and next to him you can just about make out my brother screaming One of the funniest pics I have is me and Rob on Stealth, where we're both pulling faces...he looks so funny...but it's a fridge magnet! Blast!

Yeah hopefully. I feel better now, was having a bad moment like "I'm doomed everything is going wrong for me, whyyy!" I just now what companies can be like with all their rules and crap. And congratulations to the Ride It First winners
-
Well I didn't win the competition which is just another load of bad news for me this week. Really could have done with winning as I can't really afford to go on Saturday (but that wasn't why I entered BTW). Why is it always the people that actually need things that don't get them? I bet the bank refuses me an overdraft cos I'm not employed...but I need the money to be able to get to work when I start in a few weeks! F**ks sake.Sorry but I'm really not happy right now :)And yeah the people on SAW are staff...oh I'm not supposed to say that am I? Oh well, the picture is online for people to look at so not my problem!

Meh, Food Tech!Bananas or melons

Just a random thought...anyone noticed the similarites between XNWO and the London Underground? :PThey're both pitch black. The onload station of X is like a station platform, the way the train appears out of the dark and what the track looks like (sort of). Train goes off into darkness, wait a minute, next train arrives. Goes off...etc etc. They're both haunted! Well, apparently anyway. There was a program on TV a few years ago about ghosts on the underground, and X...don't even go there. I've heard a lot of things, granted they might not be true but here they are: operators have claimed to have seen figures standing on the Animations; in 06 a lot of guests for a period of time kept coming off claiming they saw an outline of a boy sitting on the track when they were on Animation 3. Not sure how they saw that in the pitch black but hey. I've never felt happy in there, before I heard any of these "ghost" stories so it wasn't my mind. Everytime I've been on this year, on Animation 3, I've felt unhappy and just not right, it carries on until the end of the ride. It sounds funny I know...but I've not been thinking about ghosts or anything scary, and it always happens at that same point. Who knows...People are always falling ill on the tube, guests are always throwing up on X! :PThey're both boiling hot especially in the summer.X has a long walk (ish) until you're actually on the ride. I always find I'm walking forever until I get to the train platform on the Underground! As you start to pick up speed, you stop :)It's a tight squeeze once everybody is in!The only major difference is that standing up on the Underground won't stop everything and get you thrown out by security in fact, most of the time you have to stand up!Hmm when I thought about this earlier it had a point, now it just seems completely random...but I spent ages typing it (was trying to eat at the same time) so I may as well post it!

Cos the admin thought it would be funny I guess and to make a point.

Basically the words "w-I-n" and "f-a-I-l" are so overused by some members, that now whenever they are typed, they are replaced by "overused word". So if someone typed the word "w-I-n-c-h" it would say "overused wordch". Just like the w-I-n-k emoticon shows up as "overused wordk.gif" Or if I said "Stealth had a lap bar f-a-I-l-u-r-e it would say "overused wordure" :PBut when I typed my last post I typed those words hence why there was so much "overused word" in that post. So what it should have said was:"The word "w-I-n" because yes it is overused much to some people's annoyance, along with "f-a-I-l". Also the w-I-n-k emoticon comes up as overusedwordk.gif aka w-I-n-k.gif."Hope that makes sense now!
