  1. A lot of people will disagree with me when I say this but The Vampire is very old and is becoming quite unreliable. I can't stress how many customers complain that the ride always happen to be down when they're at the park. The Vampire is quite a memorable ride which also contains a lot of sentimental value, also being my first rollercoaster. Times are changing and despite the rides team being supernaturally awesome with loading/unloading times of I think 15 seconds (correct me if I'm wrong) the ride needs to go.They could have a B&M Family Inverted Coaster utilizing the 4-person per car to make thoroughput good. It could have either maybe one or two inversions or none at all but have air-time hills, over-banked turns/immelmann turns, helixes, downwards curve (the curved drop into Vampire tunnel).Whatever it will be B&M Inverted (inversion/no inversion), Vekoma Suspended-swinging/non-swinging, w/e something even more fantastic needs to come there. I think The Vampire will last a good 3-5 years at the most. I personally would love to see a Suspended Coaster of some sort Vekoma/B&M that exceeds the previous Vampire.
  2. I kind-a deserve to be a winner of first-ride because I'm a massive saw fan. If Thorpe never teamed with Lionsgate that wouldn't be a good enough reason.

What I really hate so much and makes me get absol pee'd is that when people make out like it's a bad thing to be gay OR that is disgusting to be gay. It's like what happened with black people (mostly)/south-east asian people in America back in the bad ole' days. There's nothing wrong with being male/female or being straight or gay or having a different skin colour. It's a new generation where everything is different and if anyone's parents cannot accept them for they are, they fail, epically at being parents. As parents should love their child no matter what they are and they should be supportive. If they can't now you know where they failed at parenting. Parents can be like, did we do something to make our child go gay? No most likely didn't and they have to accept that, that's life. I read about a guy who came back from Iraq and his face got blown off and his gf is still with him coz she loves him. And all the parents whose kids have disabilities, they don't love them any less but if anything, more!

Tommy, I accept your apology for being a idiot and for being annoying . If you want, we can have a topic/contest and find out whose life is the worst, it might even be quite funny/fun.You don't really have to apologise for being annoying, coz everyone can be annoying. It's just a part of growing up. Me for e.g. I used to be really immature when I was in High School but grew up when I got kicked after my 1st year of 6th Form. It's just a phase which ends quite quickly.I can be annoying sometimes on these forums and also in person, maybe I'm trying to be funny and it comes out the wrong way/fail. But it's Ok , cheer up everyone likes you.

I'm allowed to flatter myself once in a while. :DNice story of my mission-impossible day:Today at lunch time @ college, we ate out, my friends wanted to leave early and got caught in this massive downpour. My mate wanted me to buy him some cigs so I said yes (me being too kind) and afterwards, we all got totally drenched. We were long-jumping over massive puddles and when we got to class, we were soaked inside-out. When we arrived, we took off our shoes n socks off and it was so unconfortable sitting in wet jeans. In the end, I went home at 15:00 (after 3rd lesson) coz I was so cold and didn't want to be ill. There's more! (Oh no you say )On the way back to the station, biggest puddle I'd ever seen and just then, a red volkswagen speeded up and tidal splashed me OMG! I was on one pavement and there was a driveway to some houses and I couldn't cross to the other pavement because there was a massive puddle. So, I went via this ladies' front garden and over two railings; one of which when I was half-way climbing over, I ended slipping with my crotch/groin hit the railing (how skateboarders do when they grind on a rail and fall). Finally, I climbed over a tall fence and ran the rest of the way there just to get to the station. So how was your day? :S >>
  11. My point exactly: You would have expected a world famous star to get a movie company on-board for a major ride and here is ThorpePark which is not as famous as half the theme parks in the world, and they do majorly better.£13.5M is a lot of money though
  12. £13.5 million? Costed more than Mystery Mine. ThorpePark are so famous that not even Dolly Parton (Dollywood) can get a major film company on-board. Most expensive coaster in Thorpe history and more than stealth. Then again, the film company probs did the investing.

There have been plenty of times, where I'm at the crossing by my college. It takes me 5 mins to cross the road because it's a busy road and no-one stops. I have to like time my crossing carefully.

Yeh school life sucks really bad BUT however, when you do go to Uni, then it get's really good. There will people you can talk to that share the same interests as you. Uni is for smart people or people with a lot of money - good point though.
  23. I'm going provided I get paid otherwise, I'll just borrow some money from family LOL

It seems to me that ur teacher cant make up her bloody mind .
  25. A good understanding of the theme park industry - OK (learnt that from work)Willingness to work with others and a strong team attitude - OK (learnt that from work)Reasonable grasp of the English language - OKRespect other peoples opinions even if they differ from your own - Something to work onThe ability to be firm but fair, with no favourites. - OKI have mixed feelings about wanting to become a mod. I feel that I might not be ready and that I have things that I can work on. Also, that there are others that might be more suitable but I also feel that because I am grown-up and have a lot of the skills required due to where I work and the enivroment I work in that might make me a suitable candidate.I feel that stepping into this role, will allow to be have a sense of responsibility and maturity and that can help me grow into the type of good person that I will one day become in the future. I am in no way perfect but I hope that this can be my first step in my journey. However, I think that Seb for example has demonstrated many occasions that he is a suitable candidate and that he could benefit from something like this. He knows loads about the industry and fills all the catagories. So he has my vote
