  1. Maybe if spinning coasters were made longer - they have more cars on track?

You can't really jump out of a boat unless you weren't sitting in it in the first place - but its still hard to jump out of a boat that is quite high up.

On my phone, it says "Add Recipitant" then "Add Multiple"If your phone doesn't have that feature, I suggest you going to Phones4U or O2 storeDon't do Orange (Store/Network) - by the time you send a birthday message to someone it will reach them on their birthday BUT..............5-years too late....!
  4. It stands as 70%-ish are straight and 30%-ish are gay/bi/unsure in the pollHas anyone apart from me realised that most of the people that "come out" on this forum are 14-18. The amount of people that I know or know-of that have come out/are gay is unbelievable yet believable. Is that the latest trend? Coming out or wanting a same sex encounter? In popular culture:Katy Perry: I Kissed A girlBritney Spears: If U Seek AmyYou're really smart if you can figure out what the second song title secretly says.
  5. I agree Dragon's Fury is very well-themed and I love how its encloses the entire area. Spinball may have 2 Immelman Turns but the whole coaster hasn't got a lot of themeing and is very cramped. Wikipedia says the themeing is limited - what a load of crap. Not to mention that Df is longer at 1770+ ft whilst Spinball is only 1500-ish.DF might have long queus but only because its the joint-star attraction along side Vampire. Maybe if there were more rides and attractions, the ride will be less busy?
  6. It was a joke James Well they can buy it
  7. Flood into that lake behind Nemesis Inferno or I dont know - get dump trucks and dump the water somewhere else. Why did Nemesis get built one year after Colossus? There must have been a reason for building so soon after Colossus.
  8. The crap people come up with - it almosts make me look like a saint heheheChessington have loads of green land behind DragonFalls/RamsesRevenge/Runaway Train and also to the left of the south entrance. If Chessington wanted to expand, they could just move their south entrance to the left loads. The South Entrance is just a gate and a few booths - I never knew that costed like £20million LOLThorpe have got a 115ft restriction but they have more freedom than Alton. Alton have tons of space which half of it is protected or gardens or have trees that contain special powers They have to be careful when building/begging/grovelling for permission. Then again at least Thorpe have better locals - Alton's locals are a bit pissy coz of the relief road I thought that was going ahead, isn't.
  9. Colossus was 2002Nemesis Inferno was 2003 so why the short amount of space??? (I was shocked when I heard that)Stealth was supposed to be 2005, I heard but 2006 doesn't really make a big deal because N.I came in 2003 so it does equal out correctly. 2008 was supposed to be the flyer but because they had changed hands (company) they didnt have a big budget. Also, Thorpe wanted a reliable and well-themed ride and Eurofighters were relatively new so it kinda makes sense. It does make sense that we are having a coaster in 2010/2011 because the land behind FF is nearly complete and all they need to do is landscape it. There's also the water between Stealth and the infilled land which someone has said was an idea of a flying coaster over water: World's First Flying Coaster Over Water anyone? Not forgetting that when my friend, went to induction they had said that Thorpe plan to add 3-4 more coasters to Thorpe. Not forgetting that Thorpe have land to the left of Colossus that can build on (Abbey Lake???).Thorpe aren't short of space but will just take time.

Their not just any duck but Vampiric Rabid Ducks that can fly and eat your brainsJames just pretends to be scared of the ducks - when he actually very much enjoys it
  11. Everyone loves UK and our attractions - coz loads of people cant afford to go overseas, profits, revenue w/e you call it will increase. As for attractions, Chessie aren't short of attractions, they aren't short of space, they have just got to be careful and tactical when planning for new rides as all their big spaces of land are near the roads and on greenbelt land. Who would have ever though the likes of Oblivion, Nemesis and Air could have been created. And they have worse restrictions than the likes of our Chessie. ;)Merlin are backed by Blackstone who own 50% of Universal Studios Orlando (Is this IOA included or just hotel or just USF park) and who god knows what else. I wouldn't be suprised if Blackstone was some secret goverment organisation - they're that good muhahah

  14. I quite like Billy's Whizzer - I once went on with friends who never went on it before and convienantly forgot to told them that it has squirt cannons - they got wet. I love the water ballon game - quite memorable.Am quite interested in what will happen to Chessie the next couple of years
  15. I meant 14th/15th* which is opening day for Saw - I assume people from these forums will be going on that weekend to ride SAW.
  16. *Tumbleweed* :huh:I won't be coming coz I'm going on holiday on the 18th for two weeks and will need to work like crazy so I'm not too far behind when I get back on March 3rd. But will do Saw trip on March 13/14th.
  17. Pfft - we shall see what 2010 brings - we should do round-about about Summer 2009 if anything amazing is going to happen. Coz they'll make preparations.
  18. So we can assume something big will happen in 2010 - or at least should do

  20. I feel that since DF in 2004, they have been a lil' stingy but Sealife was a big investment (buying it and all). Alot of my friends who haven't seen sea creatures like I have in Orlando, made quite a big deal out of seeing them. Quite hope they build a new ride or family coaster/water ride soon - just feels a bit empty. Guests dont feel it but we do because we know how often new rides are supposed to be built at top-end parks. On terms of you (Skunky) stating that Chess have alot more land available to them - where? I haven't forgot that alot of the land that Chessie have are on greenbelt - for once I damn enviromental laws . I see land behind the west section where Ramses Revenge and Runaway Train are - north being Hocus Pocus area and south being Beanoland area. Those land behind RR are Chessie land? Greenbelt law protects unused land to make the place more nicer looking. The greenbelt land that Chessie owns, most of it is unreachable to not only to guests but to the public. My point is that if the public walked on the greenbelted land that is owned by Chessie, that would be tresspassing and also illegal. What I don't get is what's the use in greenbelting land that Chessie owns if the public can't enjoy it or walk on it? They should remove (if it ever were possible....ever!) the greenbelt restriction enabling Chessie to use the land for new rides and attractions. A park has to expand if it wants to become bigger. An idea I had was to move the zoo onto the greenbelt land and now the zoo is gone, the land (previously occupied by zoo) would become brown-belt and would allow Chessie to build rides. But then, that wouldn't work because it's difficult to be granted permission since it's on the same side as Vampire - which was mentioned that its rediculously hard to be granted planning permission - so we're stuck. Before anyone says I'm off-topic, I'm not because I'm talking about Chessie's space and that relates to any new water rides. As you need medium-sized spaces to build the likes of water coasters, river rapids, splash battles and bumper boats.
  21. A Rapids or Splash Karts (w/e they're called ) can be built providing its below the nearest treeline and semi built into the ground. I think that it would be the most feasible option because they aren't that tall and would very much compliment the Pirate's Cove area (extension) - since two small rides (despite how well themed they are) by themselves aren't enough. As for fire meeting point, that could be changed. I mean if the park wanted to go to extreme-drastic measures, they could use some greenbelt land for a new picnic area and fire meeting point. But for that go through, permission needs to be granted for the water ride (for example) which might need to be built below land (if needed) and residents would need to agree because some might disagree.Beyond here is a bit hard to explain so bear with me. The last two (free) sizable areas in park that can be used to build things upon, are The Glade (Arena) and The Picnic Area (correct me if I'm wrong) so if Chessie wanted a new picnic area (also fire meeting point) they might have to use some greenbelt land, which isn't in guest-areas.It's just an idea, that I am trying to work out if it would be do-able.
  22. LOL ^ :huh:I still have 7 free tickets on my Magic Pass (believe it or not) which can come in handy if I'm able to use them. And I have money just in case.
  23. A Splash Battle would look good as an additional water ride next to Dragon Falls or even in Translyvania under Vampire. Splash Battles if I'm correct take less work than River Rapids. Splash Battle and Bumper Boats are both interactive water rides and I think that INTERACTIVE-FAMILY rides are a gold mine and a good way forward for Chessie.I understand that CWoA's market is family (finally accepted that) BUT... (I had to say that) it would be nice to see AT LEAST one thrill flat (to complement RR) or a new coaster (in the not-so-distant future) with a thrill element for example, e.g. Dragon's Fury (Immelmann Turn) - which might I add is quite thrilling.Family rides that work well at Chessie: Woodie (noise), Vek Mine Train, Water coaster, Bumper Boats, Splash Battle, Magic Carpet, Vek Mad House/Pandora's Box/River Rapids.I've forgotten, what is stopping Chessie from building a water ride or water coaster/family coaster (partially in ground) on the picnic area? For anyone who has forgotten/mixed up, its the sloping ground to the left-side of Dragon's Fury.

Random Thorpe News:I recently found out that Lost City is not actually an Aztec/Mayan themed area but some kinda of an (Greek) Atlantean Civilisation. But the exciting thing, is that I have official proof:Thorpe Park's 2008 Student Pack:"Lost City, a brand new area in THORPE PARK, opens. The area is an ancient civilisation, once under the sea, now exposed on dry land. The area opens in two phases: "Which would explain how Colossus is a word familiar in Greek mythology and would also explain the Medusa fountain.
  25. Ask Skunky bout the Rapids idea and how it would work. He knows more than I do :rolleyes:Obv not now but in a few years maybe 3-5 possibly as a replacement.
