  1. I can see them having a rusty texture, or something along those lines. Perhaps make it look booby trapped, with a timer or something, like the films!
  2. It'll be worth it I'm sure! I imagine we'll be together for about that long anyways, doing a maze or ride or two! Come along, and of course friends are welcome!
  3. Hmm, what gives me the right? Well let me think. Oh yes, I own this site, so I'm kinda of a big deal around here, and what I says, kinda goes. I'm the admin, and I've said enough is enough on this particular discussion. You can call it what ever you want. But of course you'll sound like a complete idiot. Mission accomplished. Just because they say so doesn't make it true? OMFG we've got a conspiracy theory here guys! Serious thought here, shut up. Yes this post is rude an obnoxious, but when I've asked kindly, 5 times, I'm kinda at the end of my patience.Note: Any mention of the name "Dylan" again, after we've discussed it to death, and already clarified that it was meaningless name, will be banned.
  4. I think there is a very high chance, yeah. Actual pieces from the film are going to be used around the ride, so that should add some real authenticity to it all. I'm confident they're going to set a high standard, at least be on par with some of Alton's new stuff (Mutiny Bay, etc).
  5. *Bites lip*But as discussed many times before, it's a coinicedence. It's been Project Dylan long before it was Saw. Now please, for the love of all that is holy, enough! It's Saw, end!
  6. It's not opinion if Dylan was connected to Saw, we're telling you it's FACT that it wasn't connected. Now enough on it!
  7. Dylan had nothing to do with the actual theme of the story of this ride. Seriously. It was just a random name, even if the guy in Saw was called Dylan, it's still a random name to the project, it was Dylan before they even thought up Saw. End.
  8. Happy Birthday to you kind sir, may your day be merry...and stuff.
  9. It's in the bottom right hand corner, with a test dummy in it.
  10. The keys fits in with Saw, because in the films keys are used to unlock the traps set on them. One scene the key is hidden in the stomach of a friend, and he has to rip him open alive to get the key, to save himself.
  11. I'm not necessarily suggesting that it would be re themed to blood and gore, which is why I said broaden your minds! There are other options. Example, the outbacks of Texas (since we love our Dolly), that way it doesn't have to be restricted to Wild West, but can still have that same feel.
  12. Broaden your minds people! Ever considered Canada Creek, won't be Canada Creek come next year?
  13. Gonna have to disagree. Whilst yes it doesn't fit directly, there is only so much you can do with the Canada Creek theme. The exterior theme is incredibly Canada creek like, sheets of metal, wood, and that general run down look. Time Voyager Scifi time traveling in pirate land Calypso Quay however is a different story.I'd be more concerned if they put it in Lost City.
  14. They'll be using scenery from the actual set of Saw.
  15. So what the hell is low about it then?! We're getting a Disney/Universal standard ride, and you're saying it's low because it's an advertisement? I just fail to see what is low about it.Unlike Stealth, this is going to hold a story, it is going to be themed, it's the ride we've been waiting for Thorpe to get, and you're all complaining. No sense.
  16. So any ride based on a movie is sponsorship? Hulk? MIB? Please, give me a break. As you said yourself, "Air Brought to You By Cadbury Heros", is a sponsorship. Saw isn't, it's part of the franchise, it's a ride itself. There is a big difference. I can't see why people are upset, you have a movie studio fully supporting this ride, you're getting a complete story and dark ride. Just what the hell is to be anoyed about? What exactly is low about it? This is no different from universal or disney building a ride around a movie.
  17. It's not a sponsorship guys, it's a collaboration.
  18. You can judge the type of ride sure, but you can't judge the ride itself. More to a ride then just the track...
  19. Fantastic choice, a dark, creepy theme which fits the bill of what we all wanted. As for having to be interested in Saw to enjoy this ride, what a load of crap. Do I have to be interested in Hulk, MIB, or any other ride based off a film? No I don't.If you think the films are crap, fair enough, but let's not go judging this ride before it's even built.
  20. Cob webs on lava... interesting.I really wish they wouldn't do tacky decorations like that. A much much more dramatic atmosphere can be achieved with smoke and lighting.
  21. Official fan-site says no.
