  1. On the new website they now don't seem to just mention stealths 0-80 mph in 1.9s and now bill it as going 0-205ft in 2 secs to stear away from the launch hype.. They wouldn't want to say how Stealth is the fastest accelerating coaster as it could weaken the public views over a possible new launch coaster hopefully a Mack LSM one.

I was going to say the weather looks great in that photo so was definitely not recent.

  4. Just to let people know Monday 26th was in fact a very quiet day for a Fright Nights and we managed 26 rides!

  8. Saw The Ride ha now been released on the official websitehttp://www.thorpepark.com/rides-saw.php
  9. Me and my friends saw you takig your picture, we were going to get in it but you were all about to take the picture so we walked away. Some of you might remember seeing a group of boys near Stealth Diner like watching you lot well...that was us lol.
  10. Its official, they did not ride Saw.
  11. Yep, trains were constantly being sent around, although staff were blocking near access to the ride so it was hard to get a good view. Didn't help with Colossus being closed either! I was sitting on the train ready to go then they send us off the train and closed the queue meaning Colossus didnt open all day.
  12. Are you serious? Look at what they invested last year, a whole new Thomas themed land with lots of different variety of children and family rides PLUS they are getting a new 4D cinema for this season too. Am I correct in saying that they had one of their best seasons last year too in terms of gate figures?
  13. The credit crunch won't be all bad to theme parks. Think about it, more people in the UK will spend their money on cheaper mini holiday breaks in the UK therefore theme parks, museums and other tourist attractions will get a ride in visitors, however holidays abroad may decrease due to people wanting to save their money.

The breakdancer at Hayling Island is only 1.2 metres height restriction when I went about year and half ago.

I agree that I think it should come back as Chessington still is a family park like Alton Towers, I mean at the moment there are still some thrilling rides for the more braver people like Rameses for example. Its not a hardcore young family park like Legoland lets say. So I doubt that Rodeo making a comeback would be sending out a wrong message. I think of Chessington as having a great variety of rides from the very young, to the medium thrill. I mean Rodeo is hardly a very intense ride now is it.
