  1. I don't know whether this still happens or not but...I arrived before at Chessington at 9am and it was only around then the gates were opening. (North Entrance - Main). The Admission Booths were open as soon as the main gates opened.I would say anytime from 9am (approx) onwards would be fine to purchase a ticket or tickets.
  2. That seems like an amazing ride! Thanks for the video link Chantelle! :PI have never been on a Hyper / Mega / Giga coaster before, so I would like to change that.I don't know why I would go to Canada, but this would be my first stop! :PI have one question though that has always bugged me...What is on the track on 1:03? And what are they used for?If anyone can answer that, I would be VERY greatful! Thanks.
  3. Please tell me Paul that you are going to have your first Vampire ride on Sunday!!!
  4. Here are some videos I found of the Chessington Power Cut.3 of them are based around Safari Skyway and 1 is Dragon's Fury.Does anyone know roughly how long people were stuck up on Safari Skyway?

I agree!I also enjoy X:\ No Way Out. It is a very good ride but I don't think it is worth waiting over 30 minutes for in my opinion.

I feel that with Rush's queue that you either move really quickly, or it is the complete opposite. That is probably just me though! :)Just wondering if anyone knew whether Rush still had seats missing from its swings?(Apologies for the double post).
  7. There are videos on You Tube of this? Could you post me a link please?
  8. Does anyone know if Dragon Falls is still having some problems?
  9. I am one of them
  10. Can you please move me from the "Maybe Attending" list to the "Attending" list please?Cheers Marc
  11. 20 mins is bad enough for Depth Charge, but 40!I totally advoid Depth Charge as I get annoyed just thinking how low the throughput is and it is not really good to be fair.As you said Matty22, That 40 mins could have been towards a better Ride / Attraction!
  12. Good on you for writing that Seb!And Well Done Yourself!
  13. themeparkmad replied to Perks's topic in General Discussion
I agree.I think it should definately be longer. That is why I will only usually queue 30 mins max for Rush as I am not on it long compared to other Rides and Attractions.
  14. I would imagine Hocus Pocus Hall would have security lights that came on for an amount of time incase of the event of a power cut etc.

    Both! :PLoveNemesis or Nemesis Inferno?
  16. Go for it!This will be my first meet up too!I have met up with a few people on an unofficial trip and they have been great. (Stating that as the people I have met so far have been great!)You make new friends, and there is no harm in that!Your decision though!

    Ducks or Snakes?

    SpringSnow or Rain?
  19. I feel sorry for all the teams at Chessington, especially the R&A team, that would of had the most complaints and having to do all the ride evacuations etc. Also, I can imagine there was a very long queue for GS those days of the power cut!

Religion is a big YAWN for me, so I will go with Science.Summer or Winter?

FacebookRemember something in your head or Write it down?
  22. Dragon's Fury is usually the busiest and Vampire can build up quite quickly too.I would reconmend going to Vampire first if you are near the front. Then do others such as Rattlesnake, Runaway Train, Rameses Revenge, Tomb Blaster and Dragon Falls. Then do other rides you wish to ride such as Dragon's Fury, Bubbleworks, Seastorm, Safari Skyway, Hocus Pocus Hall... (etc).(Just a suggestion on mu thoughts on how to get on the most with minimal queueing).

Should you say fetish on here?! Could have been bored or just likes train tickets! :PWhatever floats your boat!
  24. I have been having to do that as only way to get to the park to visit the amount of times I want as I don't live near.Anyway...It is so easy to go from Chessington South to the Theme Park it is unreal. It is clearly sign posted all the way to the park.If I remember correctly, It is turn left and then walk along the road until you see Chessington's main car park entrance.Hope this helps.

And how long would that take?!Do it a few days before and come back later!
