As I live a stones throw away I've been going since I was 3 or 4 and now I'm 24 I still go every year. It's nice to see how far my little park has come. I remember back in the day when the main attraction was the runaway train long before Cato pillar and even before the stinger. Basic fun. Always been a favourite in my books and always puts the customers experience first

Went to paultons yesterday. There are some marking on the field next to meerkats and there is also a digger doing ground work of some description next to edge. Also noticed whilst on edge that the land next to the go karts has gravel, dirt piles etc in. All of these might be nothing but it's fun and exciting to guess

Hmmm annoying though I guess the lost kingdom was quite a big investment for the park.

I will be taking it with pinch of salt. I live a couple minutes away from paultons and have an annual pass so will keep checking and updating here, you can hear it from the horses mouth as it were.

Does anyone have any insight on paultons investments for 2017. There is an interesting thread on towers times forum about paultons and what they may be getting in 2017. There is someone on there who has a friend in the management and they are going to be doing a high to medium investment for 2017 and apparently it's going to be located in the field next to meerkat manor and peppy pig world. My big fear is that they are extending peppy pig world although I think it would give them a bigger profit. My ideal attraction there would be. Haunted house or something like that.

This is not working for me

I can't buy tickets. The dates for October are not a link on my screen. Anyone else know when this will be sorted? Literally all other dates are fine and when I go to October it's just grey apart from a few days in the week, I can't imagine tickets were sold out over night

Do we reckon that platform is going to be the only new maze this year. I feel a bit disappointed that the lionsgate mazes are returning again. I felt last year was terrible for those mazes. I think they should either get a new deal with different movies or scrap the lionsgate ones and do brand new ideas and mazes in house or with a different movie company.

What sort of throughput does the ride have and how fast or slowly does the queue move along. I don't mind standing in a long queue if it moves a lot, like saw for example. But if it's like I'm a celebrity queue line that doesn't move hardly it will be painful

Agreed I wouldn't like it much either bur what else could help with the qs
-
In regards to the q length. I suppose the only way to get around this is to have the mazes set up similar to universals mazes and have a constant line of people

I went on Friday and had no issues. A few rides were unavailable but no big sweat. The mazes were all good apart from cabin but again not big deal. I was even unaware Tha there was a scene missing from big top so I think I made a good choice going on Friday.
-
On the map it said something about the big top is connected to the new ride next year. I looked around as much as I could but couldn't actually see anything that stood out.

Went last night and here is my favorites in order best to worst 1. The big top- really nice to have something different. 2. Containment- a completely ew experience I loved it. 3. Bloody valentine - liked it it was much lighter inside o I could actually see. Actors amazing. 4. Blair witch - Same as last year in my opinion. 5. Saw Alive - Just as predictable as ever. 6. Cabin in the woods - Was my fav for the last two years but this year it was way too dark and the scenes looked a bit worse for wear. Too few actors compared to previous years. That's my opinion. Though I do criticize cabin the only good this was that I was the first guest to step into it yesterday yay.

I'm prob being picky but he map this year has the same picture on it as last year and the inside looks the same

Yeah we have been given new ones but I look at places like universal horror nights. They manage to change the majority of there 8 mazes and many scare zones annually.
-
I do hope this is the last year for the lionsgate attractions. They are getting a little boring as we know what to expect. If they do renew the contract with lionsgate I wish for a whole new lineup of movie based mazes. If they do not I hope all the new mazes will be unique and completely different from each other.
-
Any new updates on the new area?

This year will be my 9th year in a row. I love fright night. But as some mentioned the atmosphere used to be much better. I love the mazes though although I do feel like they should have a faster turnaround. But worth a visit definitely. I look forward to it every year.
