  1. Can we leave this now please? It seems as though every time I have been on this topic for the last week or so the conversation has been about these stupid exit passes.

Yea, I agree. Has SAW been having any problems lately, I have not been to the park in ages!
  2. Just clarifying about the man in the video, he probably would of been prosecuted as that like is not owned by THORPE PARK, its a water-ski place owned by some people behind the park know as "Thorpe water-ski"

I would put money on it that he would not. Prosecutions cost money, lots of it, and for something so so small defiantly not. I doubt that even the police would report to the matter :P He did not break the law word for word, so even if they wanted to, they probably could not do it.
  3. Wouldn't he be prosecuted for this type of act?

Hmmm, I think he would of been prosecuted.

I think that is a bit drastic. He did not break the law, he was just very stupid. He could be prosecuted if he has stolen something from the megastore or any other shop on site but not for jumping in water. Another thing it would have took months for the court case to be aproved and would have cost quite a bit I think. Probably just banned from the park, you can just hear it now:Security: Due to your acts we are not allowing you on to Merlin grounds for the rest of the season Wet Naked Idiot: Oh my god, I did nufin rong did I bruv fu**in t*ats all of you!Harry
  4. Pretty much anything Stealth does:The sound of the train from underneath in the queue,Brakes lowering,Train stopping,3-2-1 Go Go Go  WWTP Radios, "dudaling" (if that makes sense, so "WWTP Radio-(Noise) :D )I guess the Saw shotguns and Rumba's soundtrack also :D

I know what you mean about WWTP radio :D
  5. One time people where up there for about half hour dont think they were happy as it was also raining.

Well they did get on the ride to get wet  You would be pissed off though, you just got soaking from the rain and then the rides water would get you :D
  6. Lol it was a nice fastrack replacement for a while :) But realised my 'selfishness' by using it and changed my ways :D Now will que 60 mins with everyone , but it goes very quick so it not bad at all.

Is fastrack up and running on SAW now?
  7. Next visit = 22nd MayFuture Visits = 26th May25th June6th July8th July14th August9th September10th September26th September22nd October27th OctoberThats roughly my visits for this year may add a few extra in though :) I love September for visits we go back to school really late and we have an exeat half way through, also its great becuase kids are going back to school and people will have gone in summer holidays so weekends are quiet aswell.

Very well organized! I'm impressed! ;)
  8. I love the staff that add something to the ride! Whether that is thrills or just being happy. There was this one time on Stealth and I was on back row and a member of staff started shouting 'that was the wrong button, ohh no I should not of done that' and it was so funny. I knew he was joking but my (thick) friend thought he was real. It was so funny :o

  9. yh you guys are right. I cant just keep avoiding Stealth because I'm so sure that I would enjoy it. I just have to get over my fear of launches lol. ive been on Rita though.the thing that intimidates me about Stealth isnt the height, its that bloddy launch lolbut thanks guys, you really have boosted my confidence so thanks

I agree with you, I have been on the ride so many times but every time I sit on the ride I do get a bit scared :P Sometimes I have to force myself to get on the ride and when I sit down on it, my heart starts pumping :D But do go on it, it is an amazing ride!
  10. SAW: after 1st time, 1 hour. Colossus: 30mins Stealth: 100mins (got to love the launch!)Nemesis Inferno: 40minsDetonator: 30minsRush: 60minsSamurai: 40minsVortex: 30minsZodiac: 5minsQuantum: 20mins (even though most people find this ride boring, I actually quite like it)Slammer: 30minsLoggers Leap: 40minsTidal Wave: depends what day Cold day: no more than 20mins Hot day: 70minsRumba Rapids: 20minutesX:/ No way out: 35mins

  11. Unfortunately Stealth's hey-day is now over, as all focus is on Saw. Even if Stealth does "look down" on the rest of the rides, as it's the tallest in the park, our attention is now being diverted to the next newest ride/coaster.

I agree with you for part of what you said but IMO Stealth is the best coaster in the park and SAW will be one you ride every time but it will get boring eventually you go but you want to go on Stealth more than once in a day.
  12. This is probably the ride I find the most fun in the park because the restrains are so solid and the ride is so fast, I still think that it's thorpe park's best looking addition! Even though I must say saws theming is incredible!

I agree with you about saws theming but the thing that still worries me, is that the theming was from liongate and twisted pictures therefore we shall probably not see that level of theming for a long time I expect.Anyway back on topic, the restraints are great but the thrill is less as you are so secure. I like rides that have safe restraints but not ones that totally restrict you. Like rushes, it adds so much more thrill!
  13. Perhaps when there's actors outside, or just actors in the traps, workers should say "This is what happens to queue jumpers!" :(

Ha! Thats a great idea. Put signs on the traps saying 'ready to go for queue jumpers!' :P As for reporting someone, I guess you just tell a ride host when you get to the platform?
  14. Yeah the padding next to your head is actually really comfortable...makes me think they knew that the drop was going to be rough. :)

Yea, there was this ride in Las Vegas when I went called 'Manhattan express' in the New York New York hotel and the ride was realy bumpy and the restrainsts were solid plastic :angry2: That was the most uncomfortable ride I have ever been on, even more uncomfortable than Colossus! I also payed $14 for that 1 ride. The rides in Vegas are very expensive. Like the Stratosphere (a 100 floor height observation tower with rides on the very top) cost $20 each to go to the top of the tower with cafes and other food places. There was a restaurant that turns around and obviously the 3 rides. Anyway, once you have payed the fee to go up to the top of the tower you then have to pay $10 for each ride or $25 for all 3 rides. I payed it because it is an experience but it is still very expensive!
  15. 1) I would wish for a TPM forum that didn't have a Flood Control. 2) I would wish that sharks were available for purchase in local shops, and were easily trained and friendly. 3) I would wish that everyone in the world had a soda gun for a left arm, with an unlimited supply of Coke, Fanta, Sprite and Dr Pepper stored in the main organs.

    Ok, 2 & 3 are kind of random :P 1) I wish I lived closer to Thorpe Park2) I wish I could drive3) I wish I was in Las Vegas again :P
