  1. I Feel The Safest In Nemesis Inferno's Restraints Because When It Goes Upside Down I can hold my hands up withought bumping around everywhere like Colossus.=)

Yep, I have to agree! Nemesis Inferno's I feel safest in. But also I feel safe in Rush for some weird reason :P
  2. I didnt run away first time after the restraints were lifted I just said never again then 1 hour later I was back on. One of my top rides in the park I love it. B)

Yea, I love the ride now! I just did not the first time! It is a must ride every-time
  3. I get a lift from my dad too! I have heard some bad stories about that bus. B).

Well most times I have got the train down and then get a lift from people that I know that live near Staines but they are moving and I now have to get the bus B) I have only been on the bus once but it was quite late and not busy at all. Can we share some stories about how bad the bus is? I would prefer to pay for the taxi if it is that bad B) So, really how bad is it?
  4. There is always taxis outside train stations, at Staines they will know that a lot of its usage is people travelling to Thorpe Park. The fare from Staines to TP is £8 so if you're in a group of 4, £2 each. Simples!

Oh my god, you sound just like that alexander the meerkat lol B)
  5. Went with a group of mates yesterday, and there were loads of taxis outside staines station. Charging £2 per person just to TP, and £2 back. So yes £4 in total, but only an extra pound from getting a return on the bus. B) 1. You get there quicker B) 2. Just you and your mates in the car/mini bus B) 3. Not packed like sardines on the 950 bus lol B)

Are you sure? Can anyone confirm this? Is it only during holidays or year round?I have always walked past them as I expected they were expensive B)
  6. I usually try to keep my bar up as much as possible so I get maxamum air time! It is great!Rush has to be one of my favourites at THORPE PARK!

I always push my self out of the seat a bit when the attendants come round to give my self a bit more room for airtime. It is so much more thrilling when you have more airtime!
  7. I know it is a bit of a random topic but oh well B) So do you have any pets or pets that many other people might not have?I used to have a dog but she passed away 2 years ago:( so now I'm boring and got fish. B)

I have a Black Labrador called Reilly, Have a few pics if you wanthttp://www.flickr.com/photos/hdunlopclark/3445905250/http://www.flickr.com/photos/hdunlopclark/3445902810/http://www.flickr.com/photos/hdunlopclark/3445896732/http://www.flickr.com/photos/hdunlopclark/3445896636/ - This one is when he was a puppyI love my dog!
  8. Stealth has received an ugly YORKIE sponsorship B)

Wow your out of the loop B) You have been away a while right? Skiing I remember reading? Have fun? Yea it was put up a while ago and I think everyone here hates it lol
  9. What anooys me is that for 2008 fright nights the samurai smoke was taken away. That was brilliant and gave the ride a real reason to go on during night.

Never been to fright nights but smoke with samurai, that sounds great!
  10. Obviously the train is not going to derail. It can't due to the wheels that surround the track. However, I presume that if a train full of people got stuck on the top hat, it would put immense strain on the structure? I mean, the engineers would want to see it down much much quicker than they did when the train got stuck empty on the top during testing.

I know this might sound ridiculous but if it did happen could they release the restraints (relying on the seat-belts) and get people to rock back and forward? It sounds ridiculous but would it work? Never mind the H&S issues lol B)
  11. Ah well it must have been 2006.. I think. I was 15 at the time (so no gambling). We started off in Florida, did Disney and the Florida Quays for a week, then flew over to Las Vegas. We stayed in Las vegas for a week, although we didn't really spend that much time in the city itself.I'd estimate that the Stratosphere is about 10-15 mins walk away from the heart of The Strip? It's just an example of a place that is truly based entirely around excess and money, and totally different from any other city in the U.S. or world probably. We didn't do any of the theme park attractions whilst there, which was a pity (and I was nagging a hell of a lot at the time!)Did you ride Speed in the Sahara Hotel? That's the one that took my fancy. It's like Stealth, only with a loop, and a guaranteed roll-back! Did you enjoy your visit? Nah, we didn't spend nearly long enough in the city- my parents were more into the whole "lets go see scenery" type holiday. ;) One day we drove to Death Valley where the temperature was getting on for 30+, and on the same day we were up a mountain (Mt. Charlstone - you can see it from LV) in a blizzard getting on for -10! That was kind of a cool day. It'd be nice to live in the States, they do really have it all.

Yea thanks I had a great time! Yep I did ride Speed, it was great! We went to the grand canyon one day and I loved it! Also on the way to the grand canyon we took a tour in the hover dam (found that especially interesting as I want to become an engineer.) Also went on the grand canyon skywalk. That was an experience and a half! We stayed in the MGM 2007 and the Belagio 2008 and hope to go to the Wynn this yearThanks
  12. I've actually stayed in the Stratosphere Hotel, however we didn't go up to the very top (where the rides are) because it cost a stupid amount of money to go up there. When I go back there again, without parents, then it will be a must!Las Vegas in general has rides and rollercoasters everywhere- pretty much every hotel and casino has its' own. A very weird place indeed...

Did you have fun? The stratosphere is quite a way from the main strip, what did you do?
