Chessington Staff
I'm sure they'll appreciate that ! Next time you visit Chessington go to guest services and tell them about any staff who you found to be very good, that way people like Mark can get rewarded for all of their hard work

Closed Rides
Well let me give you rough statistics, the park has been open for 30 days 'ish , with around 5 days having a full ride lineup. 1/6 days = Approximately 17% up-time. I'm sure that the real percentage of actual time that all rides have been available will be alot lower however.

Closed Rides
I don't believe that, please remember CCR has been down since Monday or before. They've not even gone 5 days with a full ride lineup so there's no way that can be 32%

Clapham Junction > Kingston is also another good idea. Then a bus from Kingston To Chessington should take not much longer than 20 minutes.

Chessington Trip Reports
To spin the ride outside the station the rides staff would have to evacuate all guests, call engineers , this is just not possible. In the guide for guests with disabilities I believe it does outline which rides you may have difficulties on. The rides staff at bubble works should not of allowed you onto the ride and it should not have been stopped. Unfortunately Vampire does not have any wheelchair access, this is stated in the handbook for guests who are non ambient like yourself. Alot of complaints you have made are valid, but they are certainly things which are outlined before your visit in the day. You have to realize that a lot of efforts have been made to ensure that non ambient guests such as yourself can make the most from their day and it is just not practically possible to for fill 100% of your needs for ride access, the topics of which you brought up with Nicci and Rob will be looked into but please remember that you are told that Vampire and Bubbleworks are not advertised as rides of which you will be able to go on, this is due to the reasons of which you have given such as the fact that there was no wheelchair access for vampire. As the Bubbleworks manager would have told you today, the ride can not be stopped to allow guests onto the ride as if you unable to board yourself I would think this would cause some problems in the event of an evacuation needing to be carried out.Complaints aside, it sounds like you had a great day at Chessington and I would definitely like to go there soon to see all of the new improvements!

SAW: The Ride
Not if the said staff are sent home. The Saw shop will be closed with the ride as they would want to keep the island clear of guests, if people hang around the area more often that not as soon as it begins testing large crowds will gather and get hopes up that the ride may be opened. If it's off topic then why post it here? They have been moved, that's what happens with objects.

Chessington General Discussion
Boris was indeed very large. This information was not meant to be released so early after the event and for others information this was not released by myself. Boris the Sealion fathered over 40 pups and has died aged 28. He died in the early hours of yesterday morning and shall be very much missed by the staff and guests at Chessington.

Vampire
They are indeed, the same has been done at Dragons Fury.

Sea Life Centre
There shall hopefully be two new additions to the Sea Life center this year at Chessington. A new amazonian section along with a new walkway above the shark tank which will allow guests to feed the sharks and other fish.

Chessington General Discussion
The 465 is the bus you would like to get from Kingston - Cromwell road bus station, it only takes 20 minutes to get into the park from there, the 71 route may take slightly longer. The park is open on Saturday for those with special tickets such as Marc. On Sunday annual pass holders will be allowed into the park, as the event is not widely advertised we are not expecting a huge gate figure so the queues should not be too long, its definitely worth coming down to have a look at all the changed that have been made over the closed season this year!

Vampire
Vampire now has a new queue line complete with it's own small kiosk within it where you will be able to buy ice creams and other foods. Lockers are now provided at the entrances to Vampire and Dragons Fury.

The Future Of Vampire
I am doubtful the park would have made the changes that have been made this closed season if it was planned to depart anytime soon.

SAW: The Ride
I would not guarantee anything however I'm sure the Guest Services department will do all that they can to help. The fact that you used a Tesco voucher should not make too much of a difference, just make sure you enclose your ticket within the letter as I'm sure it will save alot of hassle. This has been said a good 5 times already. Thorpe Park do hope to re-open saw tomorrow.

This was also done yesterday

SAW: The Ride
Free return entry tickets for those who paid to get into the park today. Fastrack would have been issued to Annual Pass holders.
-
SAW: The Ride
They where being issued once you exited the park on the left at the advanced sales kiosks.
-
SAW: The Ride
The park where issuing free tickets upon exit today anyway. If you do wish to complain in order to gain some form of compensation I hope that you have retained proof of purchase of the tickets that you used today.

had grabbed her ankle". I'd love to know how, 'cos there's a fence separating the normal queue from the fastrack queue, and another between fastrack and ."Oh and we heard some velcro on the leg bits. Atmosphere temporarily lost there! Glad to hear you enjoyed the ride. Actors would be able to grab people ankles as there is a small gap between the bottom of the fencing and the floor, the only time I saw this happen it was infact the other way around when somebody thought it would be clever to grab one of the actors ankles. They failed.I was also there on Friday with Mark and Marc, we rode it many times and I definitely think that the ride is a brilliant addition to the park, the themeing however did seem slightly in-complete with the second indoor section missing something fairly important. Am also wondering as to whether or not the outside ride area is actually meant to look like a building site or whether or not it was just left looking as it is due to lack of time, either way it doesn't look to good outside in the ride area. But yeah, criticism aside, the indoors station is brilliant and the ride itself is fairly intense (even if it may not be the same now but we will have to wait and see)

Yes, we know , there is a topic for it, does it have to be posted in every single other topic.

SAW: The Ride
Well thats your own problem then, if Thorpe Park could tell the future, I am sure they would have told you whether the ride was going to open or not, but unfortunately at this time they are not able to do this.
