  1. You're angry about that?

If I were you, I'd keep the original concept you had. It was new, exciting, and nothing like there is already. If anything, just elaborate on your previous ideas.

    The Challenge #2

Comments for Jake C's post....No problem, I'll make some comments and leave you something to think about. First of all, it's a nice concept, and there is a lot of effort and work gone into your planning. Also, I think it's great with birds-eye view plan, really helps to visualise the area. Right, if you want a negative, I think your area has too many attractions. This could be sorted out by limiting the area to one simulator. Why did you choose to have two side-by-side in the same area? I read the plans but it wasn't quite clear. Something I really like, is the continuation of the Mystic East / Dragon Falls theme into your area / coaster. This is effective, and I feel that this area would be a fantastic opportunity for some very quality theming. I'm interested by your idea for a Mack Coaster. Could you provide any further ideas for track specification? Approximate speed? If you're really into it, maybe you could create a recreation of what this coaster might look like on NoLimits or RCT3?
  4. Ok, my list is going to be the best and worst of Thorpe Park when busy, as if I'm talking about just the park without people, there's not a lot that I dislike really. Good things:- The atmosphere is electric when really busy. Love it. Bad things:- Queueline smokers. Hate it.

Or, just play it on a 27" Mac moniter.
  6. Thanks for the advice, Keith. I completely agree, I know none of my close friends would do that, they have said countless times that they don't care what your sexuality is, as long as you don't go in their face about it, which is understandable, I hate it when two people start getting off in front of me, whether they're straight or not!I'm still the same person, regardless of my sexuality. I'm just happy that I'm currently in a place where people can accept that. As for the tw*ts that can't deal with it, I don't give a 'flying fish' about them! (As quoted by Keith)
  7. Completely agree. Great post too, Will. In my year at school (an all boys school), there is one person who is admittedly gay. He gets picked on quite a bit, but only in a jokey way, and I'm actually great friends with him. Most people in my year at school seem to have the same opinion of 'Urgh, being gay is disgusting etc'. I have a group of friends (about 6 or 7) that I am incredibly close to, and share absolutely everything with. If I had a gay experience and found that I liked it, I would have no shame in telling them, or telling them if I was gay or bisexual. They won't tell anyone outside the group anything, unless I specifically want them too, and they make me feel so warm, and that I can trust them with anything. It really helps, knowing that I've got those friends that I can tell things to, and it makes me feel a lot more comfortable growing up that I know that if I need to tell them or want to, I can without feeling like I might be rejected for it.But in terms of sexuality, I'm Straight, maybe a little bi-curious. The real truth is, at this present time I'm suffering one of the worst things. I'm in love with someone who I can't have.
  8. Yes! Ok, I'll settle for bi-curious. :PAnd, I don't hate you Keith! Thanks Mikey.
  9. Well not really, because to be honest I don't know if I would really like a gay relationship, how can anyone know until they've tried it?I'm not bisexual, otherwise I would fancy boys too, naturally. I don't and I never have done, but I'm just saying that if ever the most perfect boy came to me, I think there is the chance that I could easily be persuaded. And I'm not a bisexual in denial before you say it. I'm straight, always have been. But as I said, very open-minded.
  10. I have a very similar opinion on things as it stands. Until I've tried a gay relationship, I'm not going to know whether it's for me or not. I'm not repulsed by the thought of a gay relationship, nor am I particularly on the look out for male partners. I'm Straight, yet very open-minded. If the right boy came into my life, I could easily become gay.
  11. That would be bisexual then.
  12. One day later, and I have more specified my previous opinion of 'I hate it'. The general appearance, layout and visual aspect is quite nice, and suitable for the park. What I don't like, is the writing, in all of it's sarcastic and irritating entirety. The attitude of the writing is just childish.
  13. Does anyone know where I can find the pre-tunnel track for Logger's Leap? 'Your adventure is really about to begin' *Chainsaw*
  14. I agree, Slammer is a great attraction, and with the current soundtrack, offers a very tense queueing / ride experience for first timers. If the cheesy country theme was carried up to Slammer, that whole effect would be lost completely.

    Video Games.

LOL, I couldn't have it there and not find the time to play it! I'd have to at least play 5 minutes!I'm not really the gaming type, and for some reason I bought a PS3 last year. It's gets used about once every two months. I'm not your average hard core COD-er. But I'm definitely going to give this one a go, just to say that I've done it!On another note, has anyone seen that they have an 'I'm A Celebrity' Game out? If so, has anyone played it? Haven't read the reviews, I don't really know what to think about it!

Wow, I'm really behind with the times! I've definitely got to try that.

Seriously? There's a SAW game? I've got to buy that.
  18. To be honest, I think chavs would laugh at it. In a sort of 'look they're trying to be like us' sort of way.
  19. I agree. In fact, most young people at the park don't really fall into the 'chav' stereotype.
  20. Let's steer back onto talking about the website?
  21. I agree to a certain extent, except I absolutely loved the Stealth Plaza theme at FN09. It really built up an electric atmosphere, and I have such a great memory of those visits.
  22. I have never said that the target audience is 'chavs'. My perception of the target audience is that of Ages 12 - 30, Male and Female, Social Classes B and C1.
  23. If you read my previous posts, I haven't once said anything about being aimed at chavs.
  24. I was planning for so long to apply, with thanks to a certain person (you know who you are!), but it only recently occured to me that I need to spend a lot of time on my GCSE's, and working / travelling to Chessington every day just isn't practical for me at the moment. But, hopefully I will apply for 2011, when I'll have a lot more time on my hands. By the way, good luck to everyone who is waiting to hear about staying on at Chessington next year, or indeed to those applying for their first season. The team of staff last year was the friendliest, happiest bunch of people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting.
