  1. Haha, fair enough. I didn't bring it up originally though. It's just something I find annoying. Like I find graffiti/things being broken at Thorpe Park annoying but other people don't notice/care.
  2. I meant that I thought it should be obvious to people, if there is a chain around something, you don't ignore it because it's obviously there for a reason.
  3. ^ People were doing that on Sunday evening, lying on the bonnet as well.. .Are people stupid? How can they not notice the chain around it?
  4. Well done Tommy . Adding to the conversation about people complaining about A's...In my photography GCSE, I have been predicted an A* the whole way through... We get marked on each unit we do, and we recently did a three month unit of which we could chose the subject. I chose 'Theme Parks & Tourist Attractions'.I worked my but off seriously... I spent so much time in the summer holidays doing it, countless hours writing up my pictures and cutting out card and making sure it was the best it could be. I was really hoping for an A* and I was heartbroken when I was told I had an A. Yes, as my teacher said 'some people would give their arm for an A grade'. He said this when my friend told him how upset I was.... He had earlier told me that I was lucky to get an A as my work was really B standard and not very good.I was pretty devastated, not due to the grade at all, because I know it's a good grade and I'm proud.. but the amount of time & effort I put in compared to others who spent 10 minutes the night before and wrote one sentence instead of the whole page I did, I actually find it quite offensive that they got a high A* and I only got an A/ basically a B. It makes me feel like I really shouldn't bother if I don't get the grade that I wanted. However, I do see how you feel, Holly, because in pretty much all of my other subjects I'm predicted B's & C's. Didn't do particularly well in my modules... bar biology & business studies.Bio - A*Business - AChemistry - DPhysics - EMaths A - DMaths B - A I am pretty pleased with most of those results, but disappointed, as I think that I could have done better. However, I do hate hate HATE, when people are like 'Omg one mark off an A* argh so annoyed arghhhhh'. Especially when they are trying to rub it in because they know that you would have gotten a lower mark... (not aimed at you at all Josh.)Sorry for the essay!
  5. They have signs up before you get in to the entrance saying 'Thorpe Park has reached full capacity', and unless you have pre-booked & have proof to show that then they wont let you in, no.
  6. I agree. Two years ago, I naively thought that if I got there half an hour after opening there would be no way that it would have reached full capacity, I was so so wrong. We then drove to Chessington and there were three hour queues. Not very nice. I would recommend a day other than halloween unless you want ridiculously long queues.
  7. Is the 31st halloween? Because if it is... Last time I went on halloween, the park reached full capacity and I got there half an hour after opening.
  8. The chavs are normally alright, unless you or someone else provokes them.. for example by 'looking at them' the wrong way. I would just ignore them and pretend that they're not there & it should be fine. When I was in the queue for Samurai, I saw someones flip phone fall out of their pocket and it floated down to the ground like a feather. It was so strange. I think it snapped on impact though.

Oh my gosh why are you trying to start an argument with me Joshua C? Gaaaah again? baha.I do agree. However I also think it's because the actors have less people to work with, therefore they can scare all of them instead of just two, etcetc.

They could have had a shadow of the blades on one of the walls or something, to make it more realistic. I do agree that it is better with less people in the group, though.
  11. Ah you understand! Finally! Haha. Everything you said there is true and I fully agree with you! I'm all for having a joke and a laugh but it takes it too far when peoples feelings are hurt. I do feel a lot better now, thank you
  12. I really really hate when people reply so negatively to anything they see! It's so rude. Even if they don't mean to do it, they still do come across as harsh, and I don't understand how they can't see it themselves...Also hate when people delete you off of facebook or msn or whatever for no apparent reason! Arghhhh.edit: Wow that sounded so pathetic, sorry! I know people have huge problems in their lives.. much bigger than probably most of the things that have happened to me, but the smaller things seem to get to me a lot more than the bigger things.
  13. Haha, I honestly didn't think about it logically .
  14. Seven people have said it to me. They're all saying it's on the news, and I have checked, but I'm in Spain and can't find anything. It probably isn't true. I think I just fell for a joke, but I'm not sure.edit: oh it's not true.
  15. Apparently Stealth has been hit by a plane? It's on the news.. I don't know if it's true.
  16. I saw a guy last year queueing for SAW: The Ride dressed as Billy with a Billy mask :').

I hate when it's a school day, and I dream that it's a weekend. My parents wake me up, and I'm like no don't joke around.. it's the weekend and then I realise it's not the weekend it's a school day and I have to get up for school.
  18. Millie27 replied to Sheepie's topic in UK Attractions
Ah maybe so, didn't think of that possibility.
  19. Millie27 replied to Sheepie's topic in UK Attractions
Well they lied then lol. The second time we bought them they said something similar, to my dad but he wouldn't have it because we had bought them two days before. Then they said something about unreliability and how they can't sell fast tracks if the ride keeps breaking down. The amount of times I've been in the queue and the ride has broken down.. We have 18 exit passes LOL.
  20. Millie27 replied to Sheepie's topic in UK Attractions
I've bought and used fast track for thirteen. :| It's just when the ride has been shut down in the morning or has been unreliable for the past few days that they stop selling them.
  21. Pretty sure you can't use vouchers online & I'm positive that they wont let you use two vouchers in one purchase. But there definitely are a lot of vouchers about. I don't think burger king do their ones anymore but the rustlers burger people do have them I think.
  22. Yeah that would be absolutely amazing! Next Friday would be great if possible Thank you xD
  23. Could anyone do me a massive favour please? For my photography coursework we have to interpret other photographs & I have done theme parks as my topic. However, we have to write biographys about a photographer or we can lose marks. I can't find any theme park photographers anywhere, I have just been interpreting random pics from here, there and everywhere!Could anyone who has taken pictures at thorpe/chessington/alton towers & is willing to help , post a mini biography about them? Just so I can say that 'this person has taken many pictures in theme parks. They were born in blablabla & have had an interest in theme parks ever since' Or whatever. If that makes sense. You would actually be saving my life! Please Thank you in advance
  24. I sometimes ask myself that too. Surely though, at a prom, people don't just stay with their dates the whole time? They must 'mingle' haha. Maybe? That's okay. I feel so much better from letting it out haha.
  25. AGREED.That sucks . Lucky that you're going to college soon though . My school has just increased our school day so that it finishes at 4 .
