Thanks for the concern @Cal 😀 Headed straight for it this morning, opened at 1015, on at 1035. Was hoping for another ride or two once the queue died down, it had been 50-60 minutes all-day. Stealth was down this morning and then opened at 11 as I walked towards it, it was a glorious moment entering the 5 minute queue. RIP Hyperia, Stealth 4eva.

Hyperia opens at 4.05pm. Fingers crossed the issue is sorted....

I've noticed that Mondays especially have become busier - possibly people having long weekends I assume. But yes - mega quiet periods seem to be few and far between, the quietest is September before Fright Nights start, really.

Is the default setting "Delayed" even before the park opens now, or would this suggest they've been working on it and don't expect it to open on time? Or is it a case of managing expectations? Answers on a postcard.

She's back, and she's got a 150 minute queue. ...temporary day 15 mins later... ...now open again. ....closed again 10 mins later ...queue evacuated at 4.30

So... Hyperia has been down all day. Twitter saying a drive wheel issue on the lift.

Hyperia seems to be having a cracking start to the season after having 5 months off. Inexcusable really. Also, love the trick of not having Hyperia on the app so they can pretend it doesn't exist 😶‍🌫️

RIP to the Apple Fries. Underrated but apparently unloved. I rarely have a SWEET TREAT to quote Shawn Sandwich, but I did like those. I'm planning to visit THE ISLAND on 31st March as I'm neither a friend, nor family, nor influenza.

I fear for the HyperiaTurf if a fence isn't installed before park opening - but one would imagine a fence isn't coming because you probably wouldn't put the turf in first (although there is a gap where I guess one could be put in before start of the season. Hope so...) I will not allow any complaints about a lack of splashdown effect on Hyperia until the new fire effect on Tidal Wave is operational, as this should be Merlin's - as a whole company - number one priority at this moment in time. The 2025 season depends on it.
