  1. I have a few questions that I have been pondering about for quite some time now. I have been to Chessington 4 times now and I am not going to go to there for a while as I have riden all the rides that interested me and have seen everything so I would not spend my money again unless there is a really good offer lol.But anyway. Why have the ticket prices increased over the 5-8 years? (they are very expensive!).What I also find strange is that the queue times are much quicker, shorter then what it was in 2003 for example, there is less people visiting the park then before but the tickets are high?
  2. ^^ Oh I saw the TV screens but I wasn't paying attention at all, I just kept thinking about why the queue was so damn long for a simple ride. But I guess that was my bad since the instructions are easy and I missed it. I did realise the green dots turned red but I was just shooting randomly! my mum was with me and she said to stop doing it because it looked silly that I didn't know what I was doing so I just stopped and enjoyed the rest of the ride. My points altogether were 1800.
  3. Oh I like Runaway Train much better, I love the theming behind it. But I am quite surprised that it has exactly the same format as Flying Fish. I was screaming like hell when I went on Flying Fish, I felt like I was actually going to fall out of my seat lol and wanted it to stop. When I went on Runaway Train it wasn't scary at all, I could feel the helixes, bends but for some reason I find it alot tamer then the one at Thorpe Park.I told my mum this, and she was like maybe thats because you have already been on a tame roller coaster so it will seem less scary this time lol. I am quite proud of myself for finding it tame though . Next time I will try the Vampire ride.
  4. Cute little roller coaster, I enjoyed going through the caves, its very tame though and I thought it would be like Flying Fish in Thorpe Park but it much tamer. I think the ride should be longer though, it seemed very short.
  5. First time I have been on this, before I didn't think it was worth going because I thought it would be a ride for little kids only but it was good fun, riding in the dark lol. I was confused with the gun though, heck I did not know what I was shooting lol, there was no instructions. The ride length is very good, the statues and everything. The flashing lights hurted my eye a little bit though.I thought the queue was so damn long!
  6. Went on this ride, it was awesome I loved it. I went to Chessington 3 times before and I never went on it because I was scared of how high the swings go. But its a enjoyable, fun, funny ride and kind of relaxing going high and getting some air. I wanted to go on it again but there was no time. :blink:I think they should have kept the Billy's Whizzer theme though because the painting looks a bit old, dull and before it was very colourful. So thats only negative thing I would point out, other then that everything is fine, queue is not that long either and there is alot of seats.
  7. I went to Chessington today, I really liked the Hocus Pocus hall and the duration of it. What I liked best was that spinning tunnel it seemed so real!, the mirrors and the bit towards the end, I can't remember what it was though. The 3D effect was satisfactory but awesome in the bridge part. And its also great that there is no queues.
  8. Thanks, do you mean to print of the voucher that you gave in the link?
  9. Thank you Ryan. What do I do with the link you gave me? I'm getting a little confuse here because I typed it in google and the first link said voucher is expired
  10. Can someone please help me. I'm trying to download 2 for 1 voucher for Chessington and I can't find them anywhere where can I print them off?
  11. electricBlll, thank for the description . I now if I go on it when it starts I will be scared because obviously I'm going to be new to rollercoasters but in the end I would be happy that I know what it felt like. I hope my legs are not dangling in the air and gets stuck in a bush through the ride lol. I'm going to see how the queue is like, if there is lots of young children going on it with their families that makes me think why the hell am I not going on it when people so much younger then me have the courage. When I was talking about the screaming, I ment that for bif rides like Stealth, everyone screams loudly because of the scary factor so I was just thinking if people who scream on the vampire ride are doing it for that reason. I doubt anyone on Stealth would scream just for fun. I am ok if I'm screaming for fun but screaming for fear scares me lol.
  12. Ok So I have never ever been on a rollercoaster, neither has my mum but my sister is younger then me & she used to be a wimp like me when going on big rides lol & the funny thing is that she never went on a rollercoaster ar Chessington but when went on Flying Fish (along with me) at Thrope Park. Last week she went to Thorpe Park with her friends and she told me I'm going to try all those big rollercoasters& its not scary when your with your friends, so the first big ride she went on was rush. She went on all the rollercoasters except for Stealth & Slammer because there wasn't enough time. Her experience was that it was scary as hell, she said she started swearing lol and screamed so much her voice went off for a bit, then when she came home she complained of a slight headache and back pain in her body. However she said she enjoyed it so much, she would go on it again & she loved it. Now she is telling me to go on a tame rollercoaster like Vampire and is telling me to stop being such a wimp lol and that she thinks Chessington is just rides for kids.I watched on youtube, little kids going on Vampire Ride, they were not even screaming, maybe they are too young to know what scary is lol because some adults scream more then kids. So if I try to attempt a roller coaster it will be this one, I am definetly not going on dragon's fury. Here is some questions which I have about vampire ride and then I will make a decision if I am suitable to go on it1. Is it actually scary enough that you naturally scream lol?2. How fast is the ride?3. Does it feel like your falling out of your seat?4. When the ride is finished do you get any pain in your body from all the twists & turns5. Does the ride go upside down and have a massive drop?
  13. Maybe its my memory lol I can't remember exactly the last time I went to Chessington, maybe it was in 2006, I don't know but I do remember it closing something like 8 or 9PM. But my family came home early.
  14. I was annoyed when I saw the opening times online. Last time I went to Chessington was in 2007 & I remember the park close at 9-10PM, why on earth did they cut down the opening hours? thats just frustrating because more people will be queing towards the end of the day and my sister went to Thorpe Park which with her friends and the park also closes at 6PM, she came to the park at 11am and rode 10 rides, she said she wanted to ride more lol.
  15. Thats great, I will try it out, does it have stairs? from the outside it looks like a fairly big mansion and I'm sure houses like that have stairs lol
