Sh*t. This is really bad. I thought this was taking a lot longer than it has in the past, but didn't expect this.

THE SWARM: Construction Updates
I was wondering that, I really have no clue. If there does end up being some sort of alien tie-in then that sorts it, but otherwise I'm stumped. Perhaps the thing which caused all the devastation, whatever that may be?

The Big Bad Movie Topic
I'm just about to watch it again, DVD came last week. I quite like it actually - I thought it was considerably more detailed compared to the books than 5 and 6, and to a lesser extent 4. I also like the slightly different style of direction it has to the other films, and of course as always with the recent Potter films, a soundtrack of epic proportions.Makes me miss WWoHP though, especially as I just opened the case to find an ad inside Well, I'm off to the TV!

Whilst I agree that cables, heartline rolls, flat turns, and many other things besides are a recipe for disaster where Intamin are concerned, I doubt even they would design something structurally unsafe.

THE SWARM: Construction Updates
My mind feels much tidier now this is in the correct topic! My sister is going in a few days, I'll be interested to see what she makes of it!Edit: This is dedication from Thorpe! The LC12 twitter just tweeted and it's 22:25 on a bank holiday!

It won't be Terminator. It's been done already (even though it isn't Terminator any more) but also everything in the plans would look WAY more industrial if it was.- THE SWARM: Construction Updates
Could be waves of anything though. Zombies, aliens, unicorns...So, so far we've just got an apocalyptic-post nuclear-mayan-end of the world-government cover up-y mess of themes. So I'm guessing it'll be Mayan 2012 end of the world, in the form of zombies or UFO invasion ("The waves cannot be stopped") which has caused this devastation (the crash site) and the government are trying to cover it up.Wow that made no sense.- Random

This is fantastic, I just love it! Blimey, by 1st August we'll all be exhausted - and that's just the first announcement! Great job from Thorpe on this, I hope they keep it up all year :DIn other news, why do I get the feeling Mr Fever knows more than most...- THE SWARM: Construction Updates
That's some good snooping right there Jack! Anyone done an IP search or code examining? Hersheypark hid a clue in the page code of one of the pages on it's RIT website.EDIT: Line 11: <meta name="Keywords" content="whyareyoulookinghereyoushouldbelookingforthem,lc12,2012,the end,the truth, danger, warning">Thorpe know we're snooping! I'd say we need to watch the page code then Also, I just noticed they retweeted my tweet. Lol.- THE SWARM: Construction Updates
Trying hopelessly to decipher what's under the scribble, but I think it's impossible. Here's hoping this is the start of a viral on the scale of what Hersheypark are currently doing for 2012, that is insanely complex.- THE SWARM: Construction Updates

Wow, I love it! Although I think we're confusing two rather different kinds of announcement in this thread Where did you find that Fever?I do love a good minisite, so exciting!- Random

Lost track of that briefly, come back to it and bam! Looks insane. Shame no-one will be able to go on it because being at Fuji-Q the queue will be 30,000 hours long. I'll watch a POV though!- Parks, Rides And Coaster News
Double post but with good reason. Cheetah Hunt has made it to the MCBR! Gotta hand it to Intamin on this one, it looks pretty sweet.- Your favorite Universal Orlando coaster
I do love ROTM's queue, I'll admit. The bit when you're in the dig and can see the people queuing above you and around the artifacts is really cool. The flickering lights are great too.I also, surprisingly, have a bit of a soft spot for HRRR. I know it never works, I know it has awful capacity, and I know it's rough, but it's actually a really fun idea for a ride. Catch it on a good day, with blazing sun and music blasting out around the plaza, and it has quite a party feeling about it. Then it breaks again.- Parks, Rides And Coaster News
No, hence it taking so long to track down... If you can think of a way of sharing it then I'd happily do so, but I'd rather not host it on mediafire or the like if avoidable. - THE SWARM: Construction Updates
