  1. I think everyone would be interested in that!

I would certainly appreciate that, it would be great if you did!

    Everything is here:

    http://archive.imbenjam.in/musicofmerlin/media/

Note that the site is just pretty Apache directory listings, so no actual web site interface I'm afraid. Also, to save some time, you may notice that the structure is "park > area > ride/attraction", and every ride has a folder, but not every ride has files for it. You'll see for yourself xD

As I haven't worked on Music of Merlin in a few years, the files will definitely not be completely up to date in terms of the latest season, etc.

Oh, and if you end up taking any (feel free to do so), credit on your site would be lovely ;-)

  2. I always went in Action Man when I visited. It was quite popular and large, I remember, but very randomly designed. The area where it used to be is totally unrecognisable now.It began in a small building with images of tough looking guys on the walls (Action Man's enemies?). Most of the lighting was broken. Then you went outside on to a standard playground plank-walk thing. Then a bigger obstacle course with chain bridges and climbing frames. There was also a strange device on the wall that would play sound effects when you pressed buttons at this point. It broke not too long before the attraction was removed, however. Then you turned a corner into a slightly wooded area (I think?) and had the choice of going up a little hill or carry on straight. On top of this mound was a snake pit, in which you walked over a rope bridge which had rubber snakes underneath that occasionally squirted water up at you. Sometimes this section was closed off, I remember, hence the alternative route, probably because the ropes had broken. Then came a short tunnel that you had to crawl through, and then it was pretty much the end.

You forgot the ice zone! I remember being scared of getting stuck in the massive ice spikes you had to get through
  3. Guys, decommissioned tanks aren't that rare to come across and buy - you can legally drive them on the road! Just look on eBay, you get loads of ex-Military vehicles on there for a few grand (there's a tank on there at the moment for £4500!) So I think you're all worrying about this too much xD A couple of months ago I genuinely saw two tanks on the dual carriageway - with L Plates on!Long story short - it's really not that hard to go buy a tank and drive it around!

  4. Went on XNWO today, the sign saying the lights were on was still there, but the lights were OFF! Great surprise :lol:In other news, someone was sick on Inferno, closed the ride for about 15mins, and someone else was sick on Stealth (how??) xD

  5. Sadly, there are only shoddy recordings available of most of the Alton Towers music since 2006. There is a good version of the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory lift theme online, however if you're looking for anything to do with Sharkbait Reef, Battle Galleons, Mutiny Bay, Cloud Cuckoo Land, Th13teen, Rita, Dark Forest, new Towers Street theme then there's nothing proper out there.:D

Yeah, guess Alton Towers fans and staff aren't as enthusiastic over music as Thorpe Park xD shame really, there's some super themeing at Alton
  6. Yes...I think they close sometime before actual closing...The only things open at closing are the snack places and shops...

I thought they closed (or used to close) AFTER the ride close time, so guests can stay afterwards to eat, without missing any ride time! If this is not what currently happens, I am pretty sure it used to be the case. For example if the ride close time was 6pm the restaurants would close at 6.30 or 7pm
