  1. Everything is here: http://archive.imbenjam.in/musicofmerlin/media/ Note that the site is just pretty Apache directory listings, so no actual web site interface I'm afraid. Also, to save some time, you may notice that the structure is "park > area > ride/attraction", and every ride has a folder, but not every ride has files for it. You'll see for yourself xD As I haven't worked on Music of Merlin in a few years, the files will definitely not be completely up to date in terms of the latest season, etc. Oh, and if you end up taking any (feel free to do so), credit on your site would be lovely ;-)
  2. I used to help run a little site called Music of Merlin (if anyone remembers it), but we shut it down due to running out of money and spare time. I still have the 200 (roughly) audio files from Alton, CWoA and Thorpe around somewhere, would you be interested if I uploaded them somewhere?
  3. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/top-stories/2012/01/24/thorpe-park-rollercoaster-crash-test-dummies-lose-limbs-during-test-run-115875-23715373/Coincidence how The Mirror's article is near identical to The Telegraph's, and reeks of PR. But yeah, it's a good idea to exaggerate the actual minor clipping that occurred, miles better than Thorpe's previous PR "stunts"!
  4. You forgot the ice zone! I remember being scared of getting stuck in the massive ice spikes you had to get through
  5. Yeah, in addition to my post above I also think the turret looks a bit fake, the barrel does look quite narrow, but the vehicle could easily be an ex-military armoured vehicle
  6. Guys, decommissioned tanks aren't that rare to come across and buy - you can legally drive them on the road! Just look on eBay, you get loads of ex-Military vehicles on there for a few grand (there's a tank on there at the moment for £4500!) So I think you're all worrying about this too much xD A couple of months ago I genuinely saw two tanks on the dual carriageway - with L Plates on!Long story short - it's really not that hard to go buy a tank and drive it around!

Went on XNWO today, the sign saying the lights were on was still there, but the lights were OFF! Great surprise :lol:In other news, someone was sick on Inferno, closed the ride for about 15mins, and someone else was sick on Stealth (how??) xD
  8. Yeah, guess Alton Towers fans and staff aren't as enthusiastic over music as Thorpe Park xD shame really, there's some super themeing at Alton
  9. Relaunching an old(ish) topic: Anyone got any of the new Dark Forest music? Including Th13teen or new Rita music?
  10. Looks like now is a good time to head over there, I went today and the longest queue I faced was 40mins for Colossus!
  11. The ride is looking dead, derelict, however you wanna put it, it needs a hell of a revamp. Maybe Thorpe are just looking or waiting for another sponsor? Inject some money into the ride!
  12. I visited Thorpe today and was quite disappointed that the Inferno station didn't have ANY of it's THREE bass cannons working :unsure:I loved the massive bass in that station! Are they broken or just switched off or something?
  13. I thought they closed (or used to close) AFTER the ride close time, so guests can stay afterwards to eat, without missing any ride time! If this is not what currently happens, I am pretty sure it used to be the case. For example if the ride close time was 6pm the restaurants would close at 6.30 or 7pm
  14. Does anyone remember the old Forbidden/Terror Tomb queueline? When I was young I loved the whole "secret" sliding door leading from the queueline to the station! It was great queue management, does anyone know why they got rid of it? H&S at it again?
