  1. The vent is a vent as it has a fan in it!
  2. Some more pics ton/media/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zpseyaygepk.jpeg.html][/url]
  3. That spoiler shows the containment prop on right and sign on left, taken from depth charge queue
  4. Yay! Thanks got the pumpkin scarecrow pic on the forum Next question is how to hide a spoiler for the containment pic?!
  5. Was on park for a few hours this afternoon, everything was walk-on which was great. The ride area music around the park was as normal but Stealth, Colossus and Nemesis were all playing fright night music in the stations already! Sounds good, creepy circus music with the ring leader making a loud sinister announcement as each train dispatches, related to the ride. The actual music was the same for each ride. Sounds a bit like the Chessington Halloween music but creepier. Fright night music also playing around lost city flats different to the coaster station music but rest of park was normal music so a weird mix today! There was a bit of effort with park theming with some big plastic pumpkins around calypso bbq area and also a nice big scarecrow with pumpkin head there too, being painted by the landscape team this afternoon. The wishing well there has bones inside, but random as not many people look in there! Saw a prop for containment outside which gives a big hint to what is inside, confirmed by the queue host for IAC who I was chatting to about it! I'll keep that quiet for now though. Containment signage was there ready to be put up too. Got some pics on my iPhone, how do u download them to forum, sorry can't seem to do it! Doh! Looking promising for fright nights! Can't wait!
  6. the skeleton was for use elsewhere I think as it was chucked in the middle of the floor. The scene was interesting but I won't spoil that by describing it. Think I've seen the idea at tulleys before though!
  7. Was surprised to see inside the big top from the bridge today, could clearly see one of the corridors in there and the scene. Also a skeleton lying on the floor. This was the first tent you go in by the sign.
  8. Smiler to open for Halloween? Caught glimpse of headline on sun or mirror today while in a rush. Anyone read the article? Sorry if already posted....

    Slammer

testing today with water filled dummies. Ride music was playing while they were testing and quite a few staff members around, so will hopefully open very soon!
  10. Great, will arrive early then! I assume you don't need to pre-book with an annual pass?!
  11. Thanks for that, I'm going saturday and Sunday. Is ERT available on fireworks days?
  12. Going to the AT Fireworks this weekend, any tips re queues etc?
  13. So the only days to avoid horrible queues on fright nights seem to be the annual pass preview evening and the first Friday and Sunday? Let's hope they add more dates next year due to the massive popularity this year!
  14. Queue for vampire maze was short by 7pm but hocus pocus was busy until close
  15. Anyone buying fast track for it would be a bit annoyed when they saw how short the main queue was!
  16. whoops posted that too early! Scorpion express advertised as 50 mins. Was 20. Slow updating of queue boards or ploy to sell fast track?! Vampire maze interesting as went down to it about 7 and was told by staff member at entrance that it had a huge 2 hour queue. I hesitated but joined the main queue anyway. It was actually 20 minutes long! Rameses no longer had the club music, but still has laser effects.
  17. Went yesterday evening from 4 until close, MUCH busier than Friday when I got there as expected, but queues died down nicely after 6. Most queue lines were advertised as much longer than they actually were! Dragon falls advertised as 50 mins, was 15 mins, rattlesnake advertised as 40 mins, was walk on, sco
  18. It was epic! I've been going to chessington Halloween for several years and this is the best yet in terms of attention to detail on theming! I may have been spoilt by new queues yesterday, going again on Monday as rameses was awesome at night. Want to do haunted hollow again too as the vampires in the strobe lighting was an amazing effect and gave thorpes mazes a run for their money in my opinion.
  19. Amazing night at chessington! Great atmosphere and lighting. Virtually no queues tonight except vampire hit 60 mins at night. Rameses had laser effects and club music plus smoke to give a fantastic atmosphere. Vampire black hollow maze was great and only 15 minute queue. Better night to be had than at TP I think! Even scorpion express at night was great with the fire effects.
  20. Went to MBV around 9 and was told it was closed due to break down, so went to saw alive. Did that quick as walk on then was going to leave but tried MBV and it had reopened with no queue around 9.15 ish so gor straight in. Blair was walk on after I did cabin around 8.30 ish I think.
