  1. I would recommend not trying to recreate the 2012 coaster until after it is built cause there could be some changes to the plans!
  2. Is it just me or do alot of people on here overlook the fact that alot of thorpe parks theming is very good? It might not have the beautiful scenary of Alton Towers and some of the other theme parks around but in terms of ride theming they are right up there with the best of them!I think the theming for Colossus, Inferno, and particularly SAW are very good. And I believe this ride will be no exception!
  3. Great news to hear that its been confirmed as a wing rider, and I really do hope that the seats spin cause then effectively it will be a 4D coaster! Good to see that Thorpe Park have thought of something a little different
  4. Lmao Yes couldnt agree more, her accent sounds patronising!
  5. I'm hoping to go during the May half-term if anyone wants to join in?
  6. Cheryl Cole is an overrated stick insect who has no talent whatsoever, she cant sing she cant dance so what makes her think she can judge other people on their singing abilities when all she has done throughout her career is mime to a backing track? She's good looking yes but she's not 1 of the most beautiful women alive that the media would have you believe I could walk down the road now and spot girls just as pretty as her if not more so within minutes!!
  7. I've never been on Slammer I always bottle it for some reason lol I'm sure I'd luv it once I got on there but I dont like the look of the restraints they look uncomfortable and when I read about it in the news that time about it being stuck upside down that put me off going on it!!
  8. Hope Orient can survive!

  9. SSS = SAW, Stealth, Samurai!!! Probably my 3 favourite rides at Thorpe Park, although I still think Inferno and Colossus have something over Stealth in that they last longer and are more worthit queuing a long time for.
  10. They could do with a proper garden area with some lovely scenary, its just a concrete jungle full of rollercoasters at the moment!! Perhaps bring back Model World etc.. create more ambiant quiete areas for people to sit down and eat with packed lunches instead of having to queue up in noisy burger king / pizza hut etc. Then sit down trying to eat with a noisy rollercoaster roaring over your head can be really off putting lol Could do with growing some more trees around the queue lines so that whats around the corner is less visable and adds abit more surprise when you board the next ride, everything is too visable at the moment and feels very open I personally prefer an enclosed feeling when at a theme park that makes you feel lost in the magic of the place! The only advantage the open views give you is from near the entrance when you see the rollercoaster skyline, it has abit of a Cedar Point feel at the moment but at least at Cedar Point you feel more enclosed by the scenary when your actually in the park itself.
  11. A woodie would be good but cant see this happening cause it wouldnt suite thorpe park and the terrain isnt very supportive for woodern coaster supports! Personally I would like a Stand-Up or a Flying coaster on a much bigger scale to Air!
  12. As a ride it's fairly average but I voted Good as I think what really makes it is the theming which really stands out and is excellent, 1 of the best themed coasters in the country without a doubt!
  13. I voted Tidal Wave because it's the tallest and the wettest, although I think Loggers and in particular The Rapids offer better on-ride photo's!
  14. Well its obviously going to be based on some kind of nuclear disaster, I can see them going quite far with the theming for this. Perhaps some movies inside the station building of atom bombs going off, they could theme it on nuclear fallout and have models of people dying from radiation sickness!!!!!!
  15. Well I've got my fingers crossed that this turns out to be a B&M Stand-Up with multiple inversions and around the 45metre tall mark but I'm not going to hold my breathe as I just cant see this happening, this country seems ellergic to Stand-Up's. Shockwave at Drayton Manor is the only 1 in the country so far and that opened way back in 1994, and it's not a B&M which offers the smoothest ride and best inversions, I think thats a Vekoma isnt it? I could be wrong, but I found it to be rather rougth and a little tame compared with the big 1's in America like Riddler's Revenge!
