  1. Its a ride that torments with its idea, but I tell you now; I had a fear of anything that did a silly drop, and I have a fear of heights. I've never done Oblivion or any other Eurofighter, and SAW was my first, plus my first ride was front row. I'd say go for it, the drop is sensational, and it only takes about ten seconds to get up you don't even notice that you're on your back, I promise you. You're missing out on a very good ride!

I might not like Nemesis, but it's better than Thorpe Park's merchandise at the moment, especially Inferno's ... except SAW's

Anybody know what's wrong with Samurai?
  4. Hey.I think SAW's good, but I agree there's more that could be done. I don't know much on prior 2011 SAW: The Ride, but I found that the indoor spikes were quite heavily in your face, moreso than the actual swinging blades. So I can understand that UV Lighting could make a difference there.I equally agree that it can be quite rough. I did front seat on SAW for my first ever ride and found a fair bit of headbanging through the outdoor section. Yet on the back seat I just felt a "thwack" as my back hit against the seat after the MCBR and the top of the drop.I sitll find it an enjoyable ride though, but I agree that more could be done with the indoor with regards to lighting. They no longer let you queue inside (not sure if that's been mentioned) so it ruins the effect. With the exception of the gunshots, I didn't notice any other theming inside, such as the guy in the razor wire which I know is or was somewhere in there.Being honest though, I'd love to see a darker station with a bit more cover between unload and load, even if it's just a black curtain running across from the Baggage Hold. And I'd like to see the outdoor changed myself. They have mannequins which they don't use, I'd rather see them put into the traps than just sunbathing against the building.^ Sorry, just trying to put my views in. I'll pick up with conversation a bit better quickly I promise
  5. Hey, I'm Rob (or SAWROB)I've been a theme park enthusiast for just over a year, nearly two. I'm 17 and live in Blackpool. My enthusiasm started with Pleasure Beach; but after recently visiting Thorpe Park for three days.. well I just can't wait to return! My favourite Thorpe coaster, and equally my favourite UK ride is *obviously* SAW: The Ride. I just think its fantastic and was incredibly under-rated by my friends. My favourite flat ride is Rameses Revenge at Chessington (visited on my trip down at Thorpe), although Thorpe Park was the first time I'd gone on Flat Rides, but I do quite enjoy Vortex at Thorpe, and Slammer's pretty cool even if it does give you a bit of dizziness! Can't think of much else to say except I'm quite random, dipsy, and well, weird. I work for the God's in the sky (if you catch my drift, if you don't PM me) so I might be limited in what I post. Equally due to living in Blackpool I may not attend any trips, unless they're at Alton Towers or something, but I will come along if I can!Anything you want to know let me know :DHELLO THORPE PARK MANIAAAAAA!
